A thread meant for girls. Guys won't like it. Really. (113)

Hey, I didn't know where to put this, and I know that if I were thinking rationally, I probably wouldn't even have put this up, but my hormones are on a rampage at the moment.

What do girls suggest I do about uber bad, like super bad period pains? Because, really, if I stand up it hurts, if I'm still, it hurts, if I move it hurts, if I sit down it hurts. God damn it IT HURTS IT HURTS IT HURTS OH MY GAWD IT REEAALLY HURTS OW OW OW OW OWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!

...Suggestions?

>>63 The thread doesn't fail. It's a free speech forum so nothing here can fail (including your 'u're all losers' thread).

The only thing that can fail are the narrow mindedness of people or just the habit of trying to make everybody as miserable as you feel yourself (this is in general, not directed to you personally).

>>62 I have to admit the whale is pretty nice but I just don't like the message Anonymous is giving with it.

>>59 1500m? Ouch.

Still, could be worse. Our school used to make us do 1.5 miles. No matter how we felt. And if they caught us walking they gave us a right rocket up the bum.

Still, they've abolished that now. Which is something.

>>60 Nice fail whale, but direct your anger at twitter, not us :)

@46,

Got a ticket to the Netherlands than?
Seriously: GROW UP!
On the other hand, what does it tell us about you? A guy with nothing else to do than ruining some girls' free speech forum... get a life....

Uhm, I meant 'some girls' free speech forum thread'... Just forgot the word 'thread'.:P

Spoiling the thread about bleeding and cramps? Hmm, this little lady sure is highly strung! I think we all know the reason... ;) S'always funny to see a woman who thinks her opinion matters, though! =D

>>71 Yes it is delightful when our opinions matter (and they always do). Look if you want, you can start a thread about morning erections but just quit this. (and yes I'm sure you know the reason and it's not over yet for 7 more days hun ;)so beware )

Lemme remind you about the purpose of women, doll:

  1. Make my food
  2. Do my laundry
  3. Submit to my every desire, if you know what I mean. ;)

Now then, woman, make me some lunch. Hurry up.

Ahh, proof (as though proof is necessary!) that women can't think for themselves and need men to come up with all the ideas for them. So I've got an idea for you: make me a snack.

76 Name: fan-to-fiction : 2010-06-27 13:56 ID:x34r+h6z

Just take out the trash already. I, after all, need to use my intelligence. Sigh, if only men could have that gift, the world would be a better place. But sadly enough, men only think with what's between their legs, and very sometimes with their brain for eating and sleeping.

I've got another idea for you: leave this thread alone if you're not a girl with periods.

77 Name: Anonymous : 2010-06-27 14:12 ID:51IESdBR

You do know that they've found a way to produce sperm in laboratories now? That means that men really have become obsolete. Not only do we no longer require them for reproductive purposes, everything else they could ever have been used for can easily be done either by women, or technology.

The future will be an amazing thing.

So true! lol

I mean, what do we need guys for. As Anonymous already pointed out, they don't ever do the dishes or clean the house.

And if there are no men, who's going to provide womens sexual pleasure? Yes there are items available to help women perform such acts alone or with others, but it's been said several times, there's nothing better than the real thing.

Ibuprofen, my dear.

I have to agree with Elkkun.

But we only need HOT men to make yaoi.

86 Name: anneryn7 : 2010-07-13 18:48 ID:5xpCoMJg

A hot shower and Pamprin. Sometimes hugging your knees to your chest helps. Best of luck sweetie.

87 Name: WistfulSin : 2010-07-17 22:09 ID:3qn8w9W8

Bananas. The potassium actually supplies your muscles (which are causing that awful freaking cramping) with what they need to relax.

I had a friend tell me once that reading romance novels helped as well. I'm not sure about that, though. But Midol will also help.

88 Name: Tristana : 2010-07-24 11:28 ID:NnkM5R8Q

>> 85 True that.

Also, what's your definition of real pleasure? Helping guys like you to boost their ego? That was alright like... in the 1930s, not anymore, I'm afraid.

Normally, I spend the first 3 days curled in a ball, snapping and insulting everyone just because it hurts. And I feel a lot weaker - worse being in summer. When I was younger, it didn't hurt this much though... weird. Chocolate works well - though Ibuprofen is good enough.

And if you have a cat, have that cat sitting on your laps - works for me.^^

i would suggest pain killers =o but damn that sucks. im past that =/

90 Name: Anonymous : 2010-08-09 00:53 ID:+Y4SGeV/

a heating pad. The whole reason you get cramps in because the blood is having trouble flowing so if you put a heating pad on it it should increase the blood flow and make them go away. Also, wear a pad this helps a TON. Sorry sweetie hope they go away soon!

>>90 You know, I actually used a heating pad when I was sleeping and it did got better, slightly.

heating pads always help
i, myself, always take naproxen or alive
but i don't know if that's only available in holland.
take deep breaths, otherwise the cramps will get worse
stay calm, and focus on something else, ANYTHING else, really
works for me, most of the time
When the painkillers don't work for me, i sit down, and type.
which helps me too.
good luck sweety

A room full of girls eh?

96 Name: Ano : 2010-12-11 14:23 ID:2onq1Q+0

Yeah, now it's my turn to bump this thread. I've tried lots of things: A heating pad, tea, focusing on spongebob instead of my cramps, I do kickboxing so no weak muscles anywhere, Painkillers(lot's of them really)hugging my knees, and of course kidnapping my cat in the hope of any pain relief.

no such luck.

the problem is, not only do I get cramps in my lower abdomen..but a little lower to...more or less from the exit. serious it kills me, especially during school, since classes are to boring to actually be able to pay attention too, it's hard not to focus on the pain.

and indeed, Yaoi seems to be the only thing HOT man are useful for. some men can be useful for normal things. but that's only when they..y'know have brains and don't follow their dick

97 Name: fan-to-fiction : 2010-12-16 06:47 ID:WMxwmBpY

>>96 well, how about talking to your doctor about it? I just don't think that pain 'more or less from the exit' is all that healthy. It could be another problem that gets triggered by your menstruation. And if it is, all for the better (then you only have to worry about the cramps anymore).

98 Name: Ano : 2010-12-18 11:53 ID:2onq1Q+0

I already did, but she said it's just a lower cramp or some sort. something like that, and that I shouldn't worry too much about it since it's in the familly (I've got one weird famillyO.o) I got some pils and it's slightly better now but I still find myself lying on the couch all day long T_T

...I really wonder why the hell it's in the familly...

I think it's in every family.

I started my period around my birthday in like 6th or 7th and it was very irregular... The next time I started was months later then months after that but eventually it went normal. When I first started I used pads and when I wanted to go swimming I had to learn how to put a tampon in and I wouldn't let my mom help me cuz you thats embarrasing so I was soo stupid and couldn't figure out how to put it in. Now I realize how retarded I was.

I usually get bad bad cramps the first day and I usually take a lot of Tylenol and motrin and it sort of helps. Everyone is different so different stuff works for different people. My friend sleeps on a heating pad when she gets cramps, but it doesn't really help me. I suggest trying the different things everyone has been suggesting and see which one works best for you. Good luck with it

101 Name: NamineInWonderland : 2010-12-21 13:32 ID:SoLe+L/v

heating pad, sleep, chocolate, midol.
that's what I do. :]
And if it doesn't help at all, I would go to a doctor.

Pamperin. :P Or knock-out medicene. Sleeeeeeeep is the best cuuuuuureeee~
(Also, I'm not kidding or trying to be rude here, but I hear sex is supposed to help...
Of course, judging by your post, you probably aren't much older than me, sooo... ^^;)

106 Name: Tea Egg : 2011-01-09 01:06 ID:ig5maFJy

I agree with Ore-sama completely. Er, that is, about the sleep. Although having sex should ease cramps, I dunno if anyone should have sex while they're on their period. . .

But back to the wonders of sleep; Since my period has gotten heavier/apparently makes me upchuck) medicine that knocks me out seems to help more than anything else.

You could also try herbal teas, or exercise if you can stand it. Back in the old days I used to use one of those bicycle machines when my cramps were bothering me.

107 Name: izzzy : 2011-01-09 11:55 ID:4n37FM8H

You can still have a chance of becoming pregnant at the early stages of your period, in case you didn't know, because the egg is still attached to the wall of the womb. Until it's out of there, you shouldn't have sex unless you want to risk pregnancy.

It should flow out in the heavier stages, which raises another issue: ew ew ewww. Do you mind encouraging the flow of blood and womb bits by being penetrated? I would. And would your partner mind if he sees his beep coated with blood? I'm sure he would, unless he likes that sort of thing :/

108 Name: Elkkun : 2011-01-15 06:44 ID:/73/YtCL

... WHY IS THIS THREAD STILL RUNNING?! O.O

112 Name: Zero-Sama : 2011-02-14 22:27 ID:F4O4Ln5c

@ Izzy, actually, that's inaccurate. The only time an egg attaches to the womb is when it's fertilized. Menstration happens when the egg reaches the end of a follopian tube (Which connects your ovaries and womb), and is unfertilized, and thus, now rotten.

@ Sex while PMSing. I've done this before, and it only made my cramps worse. I'd wait a few days after the start, and then try, cramps won't be so bad, but then again, they generally aren't all that bad after the first few days of initial flooding.

Then again, I'm 25, Married, and just finishing up my first trimester; so I haven't had to deal with that for a few months now..

113 Name: HikariNeko : 2011-02-18 16:21 ID:cXZQJML5

Ever try rubbing your knuckles up and down you back in a massage? If you put slight pressure around the place where your sides and back me just above your hips, it somehow helps alleviate the pain. I know. I've tried. And I've given massages to cranky friends who, apparently, felt a lot better afterward. May or may not work. Your body ain't mine, no matter the similarities.

I don't recommend taking pain-medication too often. Especially Advil. I heard from a friend that one of her good friends died from blood-loss while taking Advil, because Advil causes your stomach to bleed every time you take it. So that would add on to you monthly bleeding. Period+Advil=Lots of Blood-loss=BAD!!! Methinks.

Sleep is awesome. Nothing about this will change.
