Bugs (25)

Don't you hate it when a bug is flying around the computer screen and you are forced to squish it leaving icky bug-gut-goo on your hands?

16 Name: Fee : 2010-05-06 08:23 ID:2iaaPSCI

>>14 I thought it was three.

As ... said, it's not true anyway.

Funny how that's the fact that everyone knows...

17 Name: KiteRunner : 2010-05-08 13:13 ID:3+1cGuYD

You're right, it is rather strange how everybody thinks that. But then I suppose it just goes to show how humans will propagate useless and false information ^^

But once I read a story about how some girl found out she had a live spider in her ear, along with two dead, after having been to see her doctor complaining of fuzzy hearing. So I always try to have my hair hanging over my ears as much as possible when I sleep, as childish as that sounds.

Paranoia knows no bounds.

18 Name: ... : 2010-05-08 14:14 ID:CrQ46N8T

~Does the same, and cannot sleep if not completely cocooned by duvet for protection~

19 Name: KiteRunner : 2010-05-09 02:09 ID:3+1cGuYD

Good to know I'm not the only person who does that.

Although, during the summer, I'm inclined to stick my feet out the side of my duvet-cocoon despite the impending threat of insects.

20 Name: RL & CE : 2010-05-12 09:13 ID:FwIKHl/k

I hate spiders... hate them. And I totally suspect them to crawl into wet places, such as a mouth hanging open when one's asleep. At least, when they are eaten by a human, they will DIE! MUHAHAHAHAHA!
(I still get my father to catch them, but I always feel guilty when I hear that cracking sound when he squashes them... and at the same time, my father finds it rather... satisfying, I think. sick sick sick man.)

21 Name: Lupa Dracolis : 2010-05-12 23:27 ID:QUtM9vLu

I do the whole squealy girl thing when no-one's around, and usually end up losing it, or getting it in a cup it and chucking it out the window. However, it seems I'm a lot braver around insects and spiders when I'm at school/camping, and there are a whole load of squealy girls. Then I can quite happily trap it in my hand, and take it somewhere it won't get squished.

22 Name: fan-to-fiction : 2010-06-17 12:01 ID:RHvLAJgw

I don't mind spiders, they eat those stupid mosquitos in my room. So I don't care as long as they do not hang right over my head. It are wasps that I'm afraid of, because they can sting repeatedly and still not die.
Also those exotic insects that are big, hairy, scary, poisonous, etc. that are not common in Belgium.

As for the fact of eating spiders: Spiders can't stand the heat of your flesh, so they don't want to come near you at all. Also, with the slightest suction (like your breathing) they turn tail and flee.

Why is she screaming? She is not afraid of spiders. If she were afraid of spiders, she would have kept her eyes open at all times, as she would be certain that there were at least ten hidden in various places in the room. She would not stay in the shower long, as she would be certain that a spider would turn up to keep her company, possibly on a journey to explore the realms past the plughole. The idea that a web could go unnoticed is laughable.

(There is a black 3mm spider in my bathroom at the moment. It dangles from the shower rail. I killed the brown 4mm one that had the nerve to lounge around on the toilet seat, and I haven't seen the black 5cm one for nearly a month now. The black 3cm one is also missing, presumed outside. There is a black 2mm one on my ceiling. It killed a fly whose carcass now dangles in an irritating manner. There is a 1cm brown spider on a web above my front door, and a 2.5cm black spider near the milkbottles. IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF SPIDERS YOU ARE ALWAYS WATCHING, ALWAYS. YOU KNOW ALL THEIR HAUNTS. YOU KNOW THEIR PATHS. YOU KNOW THEIR MINDS.)

24 Name: ... : 2010-06-18 13:03 ID:CrQ46N8T

(New 1cm black spider spotted on bathroom wall. Nest suspected. Probably located behind broken extractor fan.)

ATTENTION ALL FANCOMIC WRITERS! (31)

1 Name: December : 2010-11-04 11:54 ID:XZPzbeBY

I got this message yesterday from another author on FanFiction.Net:

"For this idea, you know what fan-comics are, right? They are fan-made comics, just like fan-fiction, but in the form of a graphic novel (i. e. fanfiction in the form of drawing rather than writing - sometimes known as "doujinshi"). What do you think of the idea of having local collaborative fan-comics teams/clubs all over the U.S., each taking place inside a public library or cafe or some other public place like that, for collaboratively drawing fan-comics together as a team effort (meaning, rather than working individually, the entire team draws one fan-comic together at a time)?" -Yoshino

I thought this was a great idea. If you agree, please write on this and look for other artists/authors in your area. You don't necessarily have to be in the U.S.; Yoshino and I are, however, and therefore it was used as an example.

I wish you all luck and good health!
Dearly yours, December

22 Name: Bozphin : 2010-12-26 19:56 ID:l612qofr

I love the idea, it sounds like something to get me a little more involved in life. I'm pretty much a workaholic and would like something different to do from time to time.

I hope we can get enough ppl to do this sort of thing. I'm about average when it comes to both drawing and writing.

I live in Nebraska if anyone is close :)

23 Name: ViVi-chan03 : 2010-12-26 20:01 ID:M6fd2W5t

i got the message as well. haha who lives in new jersey lol we can get this started now XD

24 Name: Ore-sama : 2011-01-01 10:57 ID:slYkoND0

What a coincidence, I got the same message....hm.
Anyone who lives near Pensacola, Florida? :D I think it sounds like a VERY interesting idea~
(If you live anywhere near that, that works too: Semmes Alabama, Mobile, etc.)

25 Name: Smile_Grim : 2011-01-01 11:03 ID:J9SpPdkm

Yeah Yoshino asked me about this too. It seems like a decent idea but I'm not a social butterfly and my art skills aren't all that great. I told him I would rather help with the actual writing of the script than the drawing. I wouldn't mind being a part of a group as long as you guys can handle my social awkwardness lol.

I'm in SoCal btw. Fanfiction name- smileybagel

26 Name: THEKyuubi27 : 2011-01-02 00:50 ID:4W84iUYe

Hmm....I got it as well....I love the idea, and I can do both art and script writing, so it doesn't matter....Anyone live near Mississippi?

27 Name: A Person : 2011-01-07 07:56 ID:7EUN1emf

Yoshino talked to me too...I tried to reply to his latest message, but I think he deleted his account...does anyone know how to contact him? (If it is a him...I'm not exactly sure...)

28 Name: i-heart-kaoru : 2011-01-08 19:49 ID:oeOsMu3Z

I got that message as well...I live in the Baltimore/Metro area, so maybe there...they did mention they were going to do that around there.

29 Name: Neomeneomine : 2011-01-15 18:04 ID:V6h1fYF2

I live in California. I think that we're all a bit too spread out to meet in person: why not just post our newest pictures on an agreed-upon site, like Deviantart? We could all still collaborate, but no one would have to fly three thousand miles.

30 Name: Neyanko-chan : 2011-02-01 14:12 ID:InCvNcwz

i live in Cali too, and what i think hes trying to do is just get those who are close together. get people like me (who has no internet and only gets on once a month) together with others. sometimes ides will only pop up in my head when i'm having a heavy ranting bouts with my friends. chating online just isn't the same as human interaction! i can't wait to find some people around me! i'm not the best when it comes to making my own friends so i love this idea, it takes some of the akwardness out of it! ^^

31 Name: Cross Out Brandy : 2011-02-22 13:20 ID:LYN3TZIx

I thought this was a really good idea! I mean, how kick ass would it be to be able to meet with other people that read and draw. This would be really cool. I live in Ohio, if anyone lives close. I agree with Neyank-chan. Pretty awkward about meeting new friends, but these kinds of groups would make it tons better!

5 Name: Yogogirl13 : 2010-12-03 22:51 ID:Mneww54a

Yup! I was cosplaying as 'L' from 'Death Note'...well, I tried to. I was the one with a white blouse and hair in a bun. ^_^' I was only there on Friday and I had so~ much fun!

6 Name: liatris-chan : 2011-01-06 21:48 ID:b941T52Q

I was there, that evacuation on...saturday was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen! I was the one wearing a "Fruits Basket Kyo T-shirt" and a pink&black neko eared hat with a chain......no cosplay -sniff-

KazeYami, you were that bloody nurse I saw? Jeez, you gave me and my older sister the creeps with all that fake blood!! I was waiting in line when my sister told me "look over there" and pointed at someone in a nurse outfit covered in blood!! I nearly had a heart attack 'cause I had just watched "The Ring" the night before so I was a bit jumpy.

7 Name: Andi : 2011-01-08 19:47 ID:cV+OCaLN

I was there! I was Kaoru Hitachiin from Ouran High School Host Club!
I had an orange rose, and I also went to Vic Mignogna's panel, and was first in line for the Todd Haberkorn panel! Both of them gave me their autographs and hugs!
I was there all 3 days! I have a youtube account and my Hikaru has a deviantart account, and if anyone is interested, I can give them to you!

Fine, DON'T look at your phone. I'll leave this for ya to read whenever, then:

  • In answer to your Q, I dunno. Didn't ask. Didn't wanna get into a convo w/ 'N'. xD

-Ended up in a convo, b/c of a msg (that I fwded to Boris; it's to do with someone who was meant to be there. I was curious (dammit).

-N dissed our sparkly friend (b/c I was a bit mean and insinuated that Sparkles knew me better than N did)

  • N brought convo round to a peculiarity of mine. Then said something that I think was intended...

... as a cheering compliment (after something that could be construed as flattery). I DID NOT REPLY.

So that's that. The message I tried to send you an hr ago. :P
