It's been a while since I've checked this board, and all the posts seem to be from 2009-2011...

So-- is anybody out there?

The site only gets 20 views a day, unfortunately. People stopped coming about a year ago because of how slow it was, and how much spam was piling up.

What is the most popular board on this list on the left? 4chan?
Is there any place where older (20+) are hanging and posting some old school stuff ? Everything else seems to be infested with kids and their sense of humor and "intellectualism". I mean those stories and trends they talk about (mainly on 4chan) ... its beyond any sense of anything , spoiled demented people with too much time on their hands and too little brain and ambitions in their skull.

Even though there are general chat boards like this one and so on, the main topic for this place is for fan made works, which is not something to terribly popular. The only other reason for people to come here would be if there was activity, even if there was only a new post every week, people would get excited.

I bet this place could have snowballed if it had rss features when it was built: that way people wouldn't manually check for new posts and when they see it in their feed they might be inclined to post, even if the thing in their feed was spam.

More websites need overboards, or for some boards to be trimmed. I know that it gets thrown around a lot but these places really aren't what they used to be; the userbase is spread too thinly over many sites (many of which I'm sure get the same posters anyway). It doesn't make sense to compound that by spreading your site users even thinner.
As you said though this place isn't really a standard textboard.
