Let's go to the Movies... (36)

...No, I'm not inviting you to watch a film with me. This thread is just like the others what's your favorite film? Do you know pratically all the words to it? Do you laugh at every joke, even though you've seen it a million times and knew it was coming? Yeah you get the idea. Do not be ashamed if you think it's lame. Kids movies are among the awesomest ever. Oh and mine's either Mulan or Johnny English (I'm a little undecided). So you know I'm fourteen and evryone in school thinks they're cool and watch stuff like Superbad, I couldn't care less and haven't even seen it, so yeah...
On one last note, in the words of Bough (JE)
"She's talking gibberish sir"
"Yes I can see that Bough."

First and for most Princess Tiger Superbad is the single biggest crock of sh*t I have ever had the misfortune to watch. And I'm a media student, I've watched some stinkers lol.

My personal favourite movie of all time is most likely the Underworld Series, I don't have a singular favourite but I love that series.

Though I do like the line from Pirates of the Carribean: The Dead Man's Chest:

Elizabeth Swann: One day a moment will come when you have a chance to do the right thing

Captain Jack Sparrow: I love those moments! I like to wave at them as they pass by.

I laughed so hard when I first saw that lol

Sorry, had to be said ¬_¬

I love Disney movies, but then I also love films like Superbad, Pirates of the Carribean, Dorian Gray etc.
It just has to be said, the all time best film/series is the Harry Potter series ^_^

5 Name: Fee : 2009-10-18 11:06 ID:8ZYaFrhU

For fabulous lines and moments, it has to be Pirates of the Caribbean. You really can't beat it.

For films as a whole though...well, I have to digress to my inner child. It's the Jungle Book.

6 Name: Princess Tiger : 2009-10-18 11:54 ID:eoarKs/f

@ Fee wow, I love the Jungle Book and I must say you people on this thread at amazing taste in films everyone in school will either say Superbad (Yr 9 and up) or High School Musical, urgh the cheese fest.

7 Name: QueenoftheMods : 2009-10-18 16:00 ID:fOqZ2ag5

I like...

I agree with Princess Tiger, I can't stand High School Musical shudders

8 Name: The Unreal Insomniac : 2009-10-18 17:34 ID:vvvDHuXF

Ah High School Musical. I laughed so damn hard when the third part of the monstrosity came out in the cinema. I laughed because if I didn't I may have cried.

Dear sweet jesus that thing is terrible.

And props to QueenoftheMods, Interview with the Vampire and V for Vendetta kick ass.

Happy Potter films good? Get off my Internets. I maintain that the best one is the first. I only watch the more recent one to see how Emma Watson looks these days. It's the only reason dads go with their children.

10 Name: Beau : 2009-10-18 18:27 ID:K/UftrST

hmm... I'm going to be a Ghibli whore and say Spirited Away.
Also Advent Children (I'm an even bigger whore for FF, I grew up with it)
But other than that I'm into more oldies like.. the Monty Python series, Last of the Mohecans, Fifth Element (90s Sci Fi is great).. also Resident Evil (cuz I grew up with the games too, lol), POTC series (I cant wait for The Fountain of Youth to come out), Iron Giant (I cried), Silent Hill, Steamboy, Peter Pan, The Princess Bride (LOL it sounds really girly but its so fucking funny I actually peed myself when I first watched it as a five year old. Probably still would).
And as for the current popular films - High School Musical is an insult to the word shit, Twilight was a crap book and is a crap film... can't actually think of much more but, that's just what I think.
