Best fanfic you ever wrote (50)

1 Name: Bella : 2010-07-19 23:43 ID:bwo7kUwW

Sister post to 'Worst fanfic you ever wrote'. What's your crowning jewel, the one you can't wait to upload because you know it kicks all types of ass, the one you consider making into a real life book one day?

2 Name: WhiteLadyDragon : 2010-07-20 18:53 ID:/A4EDtMw

Well, I can't make it a real-life book, only because it's fan fiction and all, but I can say without a doubt that "Story of the Century" for Death Note is the best fan fiction I've ever written. Even if it features an OC as a main character. A main character, not THE main character. I don't think so, anyway.

3 Name: セーラーエリスは刀の女ですか。 : 2010-07-21 05:43 ID:tNaK9hKx

my best fanfic so far has to be the one I'm currently writing "without you"
I put a lot of effort and my writing skills have been improved.

4 Name: KatonRyu : 2010-07-21 15:06 ID:sm4rEGWV

I still think my Elfen Lied fic Entbehrung and its sequel (which has a large part written, but not uploaded) are my best works, desptie being among my oldest. I hope my Pokemon fic Reaching for the Stars will outdo those two, though.

5 Name: Bola : 2010-07-23 00:58 ID:cpPIayCE

Need You Now, for sure, my new 24 fan-fiction. It isn't really necessary to be into the fandom to get everything, and maybe that's what makes it better, too. I have worked harder on it than I have worked on a piece ever before. I have done more research, and of course: new fandom, new inspiration. Plus, better writing than two years ago.

6 Name: Bitch Goddess : 2010-07-24 16:54 ID:AKRF1X55

When Lines Become Blurred - my Covenant story. It's not finished, but it's still my best story by far. I have it and it's 3 sister fics all completely worked out, just waiting to be written down. Hopefully the next 3 (which are not sequels, they will be sister stories involving the other 3 main characters) will be as awesome as that one.

7 Name: cheywolfe : 2010-08-14 14:40 ID:O4GyKeiY

Mind Maps (loveless fanfiction) Is the best thing I have ever written, wven though it's not done yet.

8 Name: Yemi Hikari : 2010-08-14 14:46 ID:gqzjvUCv

The people who read my stuff would say Admiration, or Time Slip, depending on the fandom. I think the best thing I've ever written though, was The Black Rose. Sure, I pretty much only had one reviewer for the whole thing, but it was for a lesser known fandom. I put a lot of work into it, and it was my first time writing a mystery.

9 Name: Sakucherryblossoms : 2010-08-15 07:54 ID:IW2Adj19

The best fanfiction I ever wrote, I am still currently writing :) It is a Naruto fanfic called Akatsuki Angel

11 Name: Nightlife666 : 2010-08-16 01:22 ID:Mvaxhf55

My personal fav of mine is my first ever femslash Where is she. It made me realize that I like writing femslash better than straight fics.

12 Name: Bob Rhynoplasty : 2010-08-17 02:56 ID:yp1aZbYi

According to readers, my story Slaughter House for NCIS is my best. My personal faves are 3AM and The Silent Hero. They were short, one shots but I tried really hard to pack a wallop of emotion, and I like to think I succeeded. I like playing emotions like a violin and I thought that these two really did that.

13 Name: Gin : 2010-08-17 03:25 ID:mtFX2xXX

I would probably say "Deconstruction", my most recent Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's oneshot, which was focussed on a deteriorating friendship viewed through the eyes of one of the show's most complex characters.

My aim wasn't to portray him in a wholly sympathetic light - he is in many ways the archetect of his own misery, and some of his later actions are utterly /deplorable/ - but I feel I succeeded in exploring the bitterness and resentment that he could have felt at the time.

14 Name: Fawx : 2010-08-17 13:33 ID:U810Dyvx

I'd like to say that the crowning jewel in my fic repertoire is the multi-chapter unfinished monstrosity that I'm mostly known for in my fandom, or the crack-pairing one-shot that got me noticed in the first place.

Alas, I've got to give it up to Baseball. The first-person YuYu Hakusho/Twilight crack crossover where it is revealed that REAL monsters can still play baseball, but shirts are optional, fistfights are obligatory, and realistic worldviews always conquer all (as opposed to forced, abusive 'love'). It still gets the most reviews, and I spent like an hour on the damn thing. Argh.

15 Name: Musical Panda : 2010-08-17 18:53 ID:bhFqxhsv

My best (and longest) story ever would probably be the nameless one. It's a six-book Naruto fanfic written by myself and four other people about our character's in the Naruto world.
It's amazing if I do say so myself. It's just a shame we lost the books.

16 Name: ... : 2010-08-17 19:52 ID:09CiW7AL

It certainly sounds amazing.

17 Name: Musical Panda : 2010-08-17 21:24 ID:bhFqxhsv

It was, thats the sad part.

18 Name: Yemi Hikari : 2010-08-17 21:50 ID:gqzjvUCv

>>17 - The only thing positive I can think of, is at least it wasn't an original novel that you were working on getting published.

19 Name: Musical Panda : 2010-08-18 13:38 ID:bhFqxhsv

Oh god, yes, that wouldve been horrible to lose! Thank god!

20 Name: Bob Rhynoplasty : 2010-08-19 02:29 ID:yp1aZbYi

Well, the only stories I feel comfortable recomending are my NCIS stories. (I started writing when I was young, I only just got decent, and I have a lot of unfinished fics.) But I would have to say that my crowning jewel is Slaughter House. That was the only that did the best at least. Here's the link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5568627/1/Slaughter_House

Summary: How did Gibbs and Tony meet? What was it about the young Baltimore cop that earned Gibbs' trust above all others? When a case of a slaughtered marine leads Gibbs to Baltimore, he's forced to team up with the locals to catch a serial killer.

Excerpt: "I lead."

"Not a chance."

"I have more experience than you do."

"I know the city better."

"I'm older and a better investigator." Jethro was grateful his team wasn't here to watch him settle into this kind of argument.

"Age only means better in wine, Agent Gibbs." Jethro stepped into DiNozzo's personal space. To his surprise, he didn't back down. He just kept grinning. "But if you really want to go down that line of arguing, I'm taller and better looking." Jethro was five seconds away from smacking him in the back of the head.

It also has a sequel, Topsy Turvy, but that one's still getting written.

Another fic for slash fans (Slaughter House is a gen fic) is Guy Weekend. It's a long story, 26 chapters, including prologue and epilogue, but that one was really good. Here's the link for that one: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5693689/1/Guy_Weekend

Summary: The death of a murdered Marine and Navy judge sends Gibbs and Tony undercover in a place they never would have expected. How will their relationship change? Will they even survive? Again, this story is SLASH and contains some pretty graphic sex.

Excerpt:

Tim scrunched his forehead in worry. "Tony has some bad luck, huh?"

Ziva shrugged. "I've seen worse."

"Name one person."

She was silent for a second. Tim almost took that as victory before she finally spoke. "Chip Sterling, Abby's old lab assistant who framed Tony for murder."

That confused Tim again. "Wasn't he killed in prison a few years ago?

Ziva got that arrogant look on her face. "Exactly."

Tim shook his head. "Tony's been framed for murder three times, he's almost been blown up twice. He got the Pneumonic Plague. Beaten by an assassin."

"Thrown off the side of a parking ramp."

"Kidnapped by a psychotic Marine killer."

"And interrogated by my father."

The two of them stopped. During their list, their eyes drifted away from each other. But after Ziva's last remark, they met again. They nodded in unison. "He has the worst luck."

Otherwise, I have a few one-shots (Again, all NCIS, and all slash) that are pretty good. A favorite seems to be Tibbs vs. Kibbs! which is a crack!fic. My personal favorites are: Dr. Abby: Sex Therapist, The Silent Hero, 3 AM. I Tripped was well liked. And then there's Release if you're interested in PWP. Those you can all get to through my profile. Just click my name. Again, I would only suggest my NCIS fics. The others are pretty bad.

Best fic I ever wrote? I would have to say Rage Spread Thin, an AU Naruto fic. That was the first AU, slash, big research type fic I'd ever written. I needed to know so much, write it well and try to organize it into sensible, as plot-hole-less as possible, story content. It's rough and could probably be revised into a better version, but it's the one I'm proudest to show off.

My best fic? Well, it actually just got to being the best, seeing as it currently has more reviews than any of my other fics. It's a Kingdom Hearts OC Fic, called Beginnings Of Hope. Although it's not yet finished, it's actually my favorite story i have written. It's the one I'm most proud of to let others read.

28 Name: Jaygirl942 : 2010-09-08 12:50 ID:pDCFgzYY

By best fic would have to be the WIP I'm currently doing for Bones:
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5466532/1/Bitter_Sweet
It's all about Sweets and his past...And it's the only fic I am still writing.

29 Name: KK992 : 2010-09-09 17:14 ID://5SqpEC

My best fanfic would probably be a Harry Potter and Labyrinth crossover that I did and I am still trying to finish it up. It's called "Harry Potter and the Underground Labyrinth". Here's a link to it if anyone is interested in reading it:

           http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5557348/1/Harry_Potter_and_the_Underground_Labyrinth

30 Name: DiGi Kurosaki : 2010-09-16 02:19 ID:PP29//rD

My best? Oh dear, I don't think that there is any competition in that area. It's definitely my story "Ridiculously Simple" for the anime "Detective Conan" (or "Case Closed" in the English-speaking world). The fact that I'm actually pushing myself to finish it (which will be a first for me) just makes me so proud of it. With 16 chapters out of the way and maybe 10 to go, I'm getting super excited. :)

31 Name: Galadriel1010 : 2010-09-22 07:24 ID:QObJvY+n

I think my best one is an ongoing story, over a year old now, which started life as a one-shot to deal with me dumping my boyfriend and feeling bad about not feeling back about it.
It's now 43 chapters long, just passed 700 reviews and has spawned at least three, possibly four original fiction ideas

32 Name: WindAlias : 2010-10-17 10:00 ID:/ikN5K3D

Best I've ever written? Hmm...I'm going to have to say...

Number One: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5914505/1/Service_With_A_Smile

Service With A Smile. First Avatar: The Last Airbender Fic I wrote. It's AU, and a oneshot, and may be a bit confusing because I held off on using names until the very end. This was when I was beginning to transition into my newest writing style. It's got kinks, but hey, maybe that's what I like about it.

Number Two: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6142175/1/Wasted_Daylight

Wasted Daylight. Inspired a great deal by the song of the same name by The Stars. First Sprited Away Fanfiction I've ever written. I wrote this one because as I was perusing the SA fandom all saw were the same, horrible story lines, and I wanted to throw in something new to the mix. It's not that great, but it's one of those things that you write and keep with you forever.

33 Name: Aver : 2010-10-31 10:25 ID:8alNyOxP

My very best? That's probably Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow(http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5519198/1/Yesterday_Today_and_Tomorrow) of the His Dark Materials-fandom.
It's a one-shot, and it's much longer than my usual ones, but that's because it takes a whole lot to explain. I'm really proud of it as the plot there is pretty much the best I've achieved up 'til now.

34 Name: Chris000 : 2010-11-04 14:19 ID:GKmAoR5b

Soldier's Log, the first one I ever wrote, and I didn't finish it for five years! When I did, it got the most reviews and still continues to be my best in terms of monthly hits!

35 Name: Chris000 : 2010-11-04 14:19 ID:GKmAoR5b

36 Name: THEKyuubi27 : 2010-11-04 22:36 ID:aj/ferQf

Heavenly Warrior, Bannin Shogun, and Way of the Shinobi. All of them are slight x-overs.....They kick so much ass!

37 Name: Lupa Dracolis : 2010-11-05 01:51 ID:JWLWr/E/

In my opinion, it's a toss up between my X-men: Evolution fic 'As Simple As ABC', and a yugioh one: Fairy Tales.

As Simple As ABC: a collection of alphabetical one-shots, each one centered around a kiss. Pairing: Rogue & Gambit. Rating: T
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5529351/1/As_Simple_as_ABC

Fairy Tales: the Yugioh cast star in various fairy tales, with commentary by Yami Bakura and Marik Ishtar. Contains slash and genderbending. Rating: T

38 Name: Mitsuki : 2010-11-12 19:02 ID:afWy34AO

"A STALKING HORROR"

a junjo romantica horror story.

Junjo Romantica/Terrorist/Egoist [a little junjo in halloween terror.]

A stalker has been appearing all around the news. Everyone has a reason to worry. The man has killed and raped before. But that was 5 years ago. Why again now? what is this man's motives? The Junjo characters face dangers, from being shot at, to being killers themselves? Character death(s?).

41 Name: NamineInWonderland : 2010-12-21 12:54 ID:Yg2KPLE+

Probably Birth Stones. It's like, a Kingdom Hearts(I & II)/Naruto/Twilight -esque kind of deal. And it isn't finished. but I'm pretty sure I have most of it typed to my flashdrive, haha. I just need to update.

42 Name: Gio : 2010-12-21 17:02 ID:s7F32NdL

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6460586/1/The_Two_Samurai

A story I thought would be cool to write and I needed to write it before I forgot.

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5460374/1/Semper_Fidelis_ON_HOLD_AND_BEING_REWRITTEN

A sons of anarchy story I wanted to write for a while, but it's in the process of being re-written.

43 Name: Alierana : 2010-12-30 02:13 ID:W7OlDu22

Right now my best one would be one that I am currently writting

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6254241/1/Bloody_Phoenix

This is bleach, the main couple is Toshiro and Karin, but it doesn't center around their relation ship. Instead it is about Karin getting Shimigami powers after training with Urahara and haveing to tell everyone.
Then it continues on to what starts to happen when she gets into the soul society, and there are a lot of secrets.

44 Name: Firerwolf : 2011-02-20 22:03 ID:3hCM1hR+

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4663264/1/Silent_Gulch

Loved writing this story and people loved to read it. Got me a lot of additions to watch lists. It was so good and liked that I wrote sequel and have a third installment in the works.

45 Name: OneWingedHeron53 : 2011-03-02 01:46 ID:iR386PPd

The best fanfic I am starting to write would be Super Smash Brothers Heroes. Which contains the regular cast as well as three returning casts and new characters. May sound like a regular Super Smash Brothers Sequel, but this is different, I guarantee it. What makes it so different? Well, wanting to test my knowledge on abilities like Super Strength and such, I decided to try on the Super Smash Cast. I still have huge plans for it. Here's the link if your interested.

46 Name: IrisawaAmaterasu : 2011-04-21 19:48 ID:0H/Q5P5H

Most likely Sen No Yoru Wo Koete, in terms of chaptered stories. But that one isn't complete yet. So it'll most likely be Teardrop... Or Prisoner... I forgot.

48 Name: Awesome : 2011-04-24 17:36 ID:+PArj7MG

The best that I ever wrote is probably http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6606691/1/The_Chase_On_New_Waters

It's the most popular even though it's still in progress, but the title is bleh. I was so lazy that I just mushed together words that sounded like a story.

49 Name: Afro Mann : 2011-05-09 09:38 ID:Z4bwM77X

Temple Academy would have to be the best. It's the most reviewed and has the most characters. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5278774/1/Temple_Academy

50 Name: fan-to-fiction : 2011-05-17 11:11 ID:vxTnrzBr

I don't have a best fanfic yet (ask me again when I decide to stop writing). But my most popular fics currently are 'Fate Intertwined' (for our yaoi lovers) and 'Mother of My Child' ( for the non-yaoi lovers) and a crime fic 'Black Seconds) (for the people who don't want to read sex scenes, no romance in this one)

Currently all works in progress that I can't update yet since there are finals in about two weeks. They are the most popular and if I really have to decide which is best I'd say Black Seconds since it's deeper than the others.
