Worst fanfic you ever wrote (26)

1 Name: Bella : 2010-07-19 23:41 ID:3+6Ffviq

At one time or another, we all wrote a dud, a Sue, a Stu, a story that made grammar Nazi's want to kill themselves so shae your worst ever story.

2 Name: TheInvisibleGhost : 2010-07-20 04:12 ID:OF9iYl2Q

I wrote one at age 6 which featured a princess named Princess Starlight who had a magic unicorn called Moonlight, and they got up to all sorts of adventures together, including rescuing their friends, saving the whole country, making friends with everyone they met, yada yada yah. Needless to say, although it was cute, when I found it in the loft last year I had to dispose of it.

Pretty much any of my attempts at comedy are horrifically lame.

I did do an Amalgam story which was supposed to be partially a parody. I'm rather proud of the oddness of the combinations I came up with, but I couldn't find my way to the 'heart' of the parody and the result was just boring.

4 Name: Crimson Cataclysm : 2010-07-20 11:08 ID:leS7zgNx

Oh God, anything from 2006-2007 era. Reading my past author notes is sickening to the stomach - I was such a frigging weeaboo.
And it's incredibly embarrassing because people are STILL fav'ing and reviewing those fics.

5 Name: Yemi Hikari : 2010-07-27 14:29 ID:gc2sAB/z

RPG Mary Sue Power Rangers fanfic. That was... oh, a LONG time ago, long before FFnet existed.

6 Name: KatonRyu : 2010-11-05 02:21 ID:6JZhq5fz

Anything I wrote when I just started. Oh, those have been on FF, but I removed them after deciding they were too horrendous to continue existing. They were AR Pokemon fics that made zero sense and sucked in all kinds of ways.

7 Name: Anonymous : 2010-11-05 06:49 ID:HZNKEdYn

some unpublished hardcorelemonish hentai story with pointless sex from the start to the end, and lame comments by me on the scenes and stuff, no surprise here that I never even put it in the computer, and it is forgotten in a notepad...

9 Name: Naomi Hansen : 2010-11-06 12:36 ID:sXI1PEJ1

Eh, my first fanfic, which was intended to be an HP multi-chaptered thing. I wasn't making mary-sues, per se, but when I look at the copies of it that I have hidden in a certain website, I kinda gag. (They were originally on my FFN account, but I removed them when they were getting fewer reviews than everything else I made.)

10 Name: Amber : 2010-11-12 08:03 ID:sntJxT90

A crack story I wrote was my worst. Crack makes anybody that takes reading/reviewing FF seriously die. Sometimes I die knowing it's still there because it's just utter randomness being spat out. But it has the most reviews/favs/praise etc etc but the ones I do research on, work hard for and revise 1643287642 times gets the least. God I hate FF.net sometimes. T_T

11 Name: Tomo Mizuki : 2010-12-22 16:57 ID:CrM7ep8y

The worst story I posted on fanfiction.net was, ironically, my most popular one. I honestly don't know why. It was poorly written, cheesy, and no one dies! That's a no-no for me.

12 Name: C : 2010-12-23 20:41 ID:O5hvagMI

My worst fic was a Naruto AU. It was the highschool AU, had Neji as the main love interest of Sasuke, in which he was acting like a girl and Sasuke was decieving everyone. Sai was OOC, as was just about everyone except for Tenten and Sakura.

I looked at it merely a week later and deleted the monstrosity.

13 Name: Sessakag : 2010-12-30 13:10 ID:hoEzS699

My worst fic has to be my first fic posted on ff.net. I hate it. I made soooo many mistakes and I don't have the patience to try and rewrite it to the extent that I want to. I've rewritten it a little bit, but not enough for my satisfaction. I haven't completed it yet, am still writing chapters, but the only reason I haven't trashed it is because other people seem to like it and I'm not a writer that will abandon any of my works.

14 Name: Tea Egg : 2011-01-18 23:51 ID:yhoQf7Zk

Good God, there are so many to choose from. . . BUT- I think my worst fic was "Fool Me Once: A Kabuto love story" that I had posted on Quizilla when I was, like, thirteen. It featured a Sue, fanfiction stereotypes, random chapters that didn't matter; an OOC Kabuto and Orochimaru; and. . . Dear god, I found it a while ago while checking on my old Quizilla account to see how I had changed and went: 7gfvgfv

That was me bashing my head against the keyboard, by the way. Needless to say, I deleted that crap.

15 Name: Bitch Goddess : 2011-01-19 11:29 ID:kR7wsLP+

Pretty much anything I wrote before the age of about 15 or so. My stories were fraught with Mary-Sue's and completely asinine plots, not to mention I wrote in fandom's I had absolutely no idea about and didn't bother to do any research.
Yea...it was bad. But thankfully all the crap is gone forever.

16 Name: Coline7373 : 2011-01-20 09:39 ID:L28aMCjm

I wrote a James/Lily fic when I was about fourteen years old, which was nearly twelve years ago.

The empire of HP had just start and with all the self-conviction of a teenage girl I wanted in. Thought I was going to revolution the pairing or some sh...

I found it years later gather dust in a drawer.

It's so painfully Mary Sue and badly written I thought it deserve a bonefire for the honor of being the WORST.FIC.EVER!!!

My worst fan-fic was 6 years ago. It was horrible! The story was barely 200 words long and it made no sense whatsoever. The plot barely showed through and the characters were ooc. I deleted the piece of crap 3 years ago and re-edited it. It's a whole lot better and it's even one of my most reviewed! :D

19 Name: Red : 2011-02-16 23:14 ID:sxgIwC2C

I've started a few here and there that I dropped or set aside when I realized they contained pretty bad self inserts. From there, I moved on to Stus, and it wasn't until then that I realized the difference between an OC and a Sue/Stu.

But the worst one I've finished and put up for public consumption is an angsty little one shot I wrote for Bleach a few years (or more) back. It got a few favorable reviews and relieved some stress as I wrote it...but best of all, it got the emo out of my system. It currently gets all of half a dozen hits a month, if FFN's stats are believable ;D

I don't have the original chapters, but when I was first starting out on FF.net I vaguely remember publishing a Naruto story involving his long lost sister. She had a demon inside of her, had a tragic past, and in the end it got deleted off the site because I put a lemon scene between her and Kakashi in it while neglecting to put the rating up to M.

shudder

I get cold sweats just thinking about it.

24 Name: Ajestice : 2011-03-10 16:03 ID:t/jkI3Qw

All I did as a kid was write Mary Sues. Hell, I still write them. They're fun. I like romance. And I tend to take it as a personal challenge when someone is portrayed in a book or movie as unlovable or forever single or... you know... irredeemably evil.

Worst story ever? Oh, man, did I ever mess with the universes of Gundam Wing and Sailor Moon. Plot holes, Mary Sues, blatant disregard for cannon time lines and cannon characters. I just picked through both worlds, grabbed all the characters I liked, and deposited them into another dimension where life revolved around my MC and everyone loved her. And, of course, she was the most powerful of BOTH the Sailor Senshi and the Gundams.

Of course.

This is bringing up bad memories. Time for an uplifting cupcake.

At some point, I saw a "playlsit fic," in which the writer had to create drabbles based off of songs that randomly came off their iPod. I tried it myself with The Little Vampire characters...all three of them were irredemably bad. I ended up deleting them.
I had a Xiaolin Showdown fic that was a close second, though. It had absolutely no plot, and Raimundo was horrifically OOC. Again, that piece of crap was deleted.

26 Name: Neil Dunsmore : 2011-04-21 17:31 ID:YapO+eEl

It's a little something called "No One Needs to Know". I had that up for a long time and got a lot of praise for it, then after 4-5 years realized it was complete and utter garbage and finally removed it.
