with all these new 3d technology and liuve action movies comming out i'm sure many have dreams of what might be next.

in a way i would like to see Naruto (Shippuden mostly) done on the big screen, depending on who directs it and all. not too sure if live action would be best but i think it would still be pretty good either way.

           what's your thoughts????????

Jodi Picoult books made into a film :D I know My sisters keeper is one but there is alot more of her books that are soooo amazing like nineteen minutes!

There is this Webcomic, called Looking For Group, that is being regularly updated. It has a lot of action, humor and overall, fun plot developments. I would think it would be awesomely cool to see Looking For Group done up, either in a CGI format or a classic 2D format. How they would do live action, I'm not so sure but its still such an awesome idea.

For those who want to look at the comic, here is a link: www.lfgcomic.com

Anime: Live action movies: Thoughts?
Death Note didn't turn out brilliantly, but it was good - so compared to the anime i'd say its a fail, but only because, Ryuk was not life-like enough and Light looked like a girl (XD lol, i'm sorry, but its true). L was brilliantly played, as were other characters, although the new girlfriend was quite a failure too really.
Blood + : That was a brilliant anime, i'm not sure the anime film was as good though - i'd say it was slightly disappointing really, but i can't wait to see the live action film (It was an 18 in the ceinemas so i'm stuck until i can get ahold of the DVD).

So, death note - although the new ideas and plot line made for an interesting and captivating twist, i'd say it was a failure compared to the anime that was so fantastic. Where as Blood, is most likely better as a live action film rather than an anime film, though i'm not sure if it could top the anime series itself.

And of course... nothing beats the good old fashioned manga ^^ x

I'm not much of a fan of movie remakes usually. They always seem to cut out so much of the story that it can't stand alone as a movie or rush through it due to packing in as much as possible in the time.

That said, I'd love to see a live action (with CG effects) movie of Disgaea, based on the game's story. It's quite short anyway and it would make a great comedy/drama with good enough actors. The costume and CG budget would have to be pretty high though.

Definitely would love to see the Guardians of Time Trilogy. Arkarian coming to life would be my version of heaven on rearth

36 Name: Lupa Dracolis : 2009-11-18 12:40 ID:0fDA9oDW

I'd love the Hobbit, ifit was done properly. Also Melissa Marr's faerie books would be great, if done properly. What I'd absolutely love is the Edge Chronicles.

37 Name: Anonymous : 2009-11-18 13:05 ID:tYQZWz4P

David Almond's 'Clay'- it would make a great children's film- I remember loving that book when I was 12 or so. 'Skellig' was recently made into a film, so it's certainly possible.

Also, anything by Siobhán Dowd. 'Bog Child' could be a great film.

Neither are overly wellknown books, the latter in particular, so they're unlikely to generate much hype, but I think they'd be amazing as films.

38 Name: DarthRevanShepard : 2009-11-18 14:42 ID:LsDmpcdc

I think I'd probably like to see Private Peaceful, The Demonata, The Night World Series or any of the book series by Mark Robson.

39 Name: Me : 2009-11-18 14:43 ID:B+mMDc1v

I think they should make a film on peoples fan-fictions, like make their story into a movie.

40 Name: Niori : 2010-01-14 17:11 ID:bbaHXE/5

I'd love if they did THe Hobbit and the Simillarion- I'm a tolkien geek. Also, A Great and Terrible Beauty.

41 Name: Niori : 2010-01-14 17:11 ID:bbaHXE/5

Oh, and the musical Aida.

42 Name: OCDx : 2010-01-15 09:36 ID:ihGnXn8x

okay, i skipped a lot of posts so not sure if this one's been said or not...

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

its amazing - everyone says its like twilight, but its sooo much darker and realistic. Patch is the ultimate bad boy and can pull off the stuff that Edward can't. Kellan Lutz would make a good Patch...we just need to tan him up a bit lol

sigh why can't they make real boys like that

43 Name: Lupa Dracolis : 2010-01-15 13:28 ID:AaaxWFVS

Nation by Terry Pratchett would be a good movie...

44 Name: Madness : 2010-01-15 14:27 ID:MXSe5B1F

I think that The Forest Of Hands and Teeth is an amazing book (but I can't tell you who its by because my friend has borrowed my copy) although it would have to be a 15 because there is really scary people in it. I also think Vampire Academy Series or House Of Night would be a good one but some of these would be rated 15 too- very wrong in some places trust me :D

45 Name: Trapped in Reality : 2010-01-15 16:51 ID:1ATxcGp/

All of Ted Dekker's books. Some of them have been made into movies, but I'd like to see the Circle Trilogy, the Showdown Trilogy, and the Lost Books series turned into movies. I just would love to see the glowing, colored forests, the green waters, and the "black forest." Plus, there's some stuff in the showdown trilogy that would need some pretty good effects.

I heard that Peter Jackson has the rights for the hobbit so it probably wont be long before he shoots it. Thats for 40. As for myself id love it if someone did the Anita Blake vampire hunter books as films. Itll never happen though. Theres too much sex in them for film purposes.

47 Name: Windesque : 2010-01-16 09:05 ID:5ESXNf0w

>>37 Agreeing with both of them.
I'm especially hoping for Siobhan Dowd's London Eye Mystery. I loved that book.

Anything by Marcus Sedgewick, especially The Foreshadowing and Revolver.

I say, re-do The Transformers, swapping Michael Bay with Steven Spielberg!!! In my world that'd happen. Actually, then the The Transformers would have been directed by Steven Spielberg in the beginning :p

49 Name: My Broken Quill : 2010-01-21 19:31 ID:2oRGYwlD

Howl's Moving Castle - without the weirdness in it that the Japanese anime had (i mean come on, it was plenty weird enough already), and without christian Bale - very out of character for Howl. someone like the young cary elwes from princess bride or heath ledger would have been perfect.

50 Name: ChildishJade : 2010-01-22 11:07 ID:oor9gzHE

The Foreshadowing would make an awesome movie! Though, City of Bones by Cassandra Clare is maybe being made into a movie, and I can't think of anyone that would be able to play a convincing Jace :/

51 Name: 0tree0 : 2010-01-22 17:56 ID:zv5w4nSC

The Belgariad and Mallorean... purely because they introduced me to fantasy...

Eddings (both) will forever hold a place in my heart... truly wonderfull story tellers...

52 Name: DarthRevanShepard : 2010-01-22 18:02 ID:q8XHU0Ku

I think The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson would be really good as a movie but there are quite few gruesome things in it that are describided very in-depth so it would probably be lika a 15 and then I wouldn't be able to see. You should defintly read the book though, it's the guy's first time writing and it's amazing!

53 Name: SJWhitson : 2010-01-23 10:18 ID:I6hcX40R

I would love JD Robb's In Death Series made into a TV series or Movie as I am addicted to the books.

54 Name: misty1986 : 2010-01-23 17:33 ID:dzEfGRbO

I would love to see Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell. Just read it and couldnt put it down until the last page.

55 Name: Rivala : 2010-04-13 04:50 ID:DugOJwyi

I would say Death Note, but as many people know they already have three Japanese films and an American version in the making (apparently). Otherwise, they should make a The Diaries of Adrain Mole film, dammit.

56 Name: Danibear423 : 2010-04-14 08:37 ID:5GR0WGHo

:P I'd love an Adrian Mole film, that would be hilarious.xx

Lady Grace Mysteries. This isn't on fanfiction; I can't find it! They are really good, they are about a young maid of honour to Queen Elizabeth 1 and she soon becomes a lady pursivant (secret dectivive.) They go in alphabetical order and I love Grace, Ellie and Masou - despite Ellie being a laundry maid and Masou a tumbler they are great friends.

59 Name: MissTrollQueen : 2010-04-19 08:25 ID:2IaakLum

Beautiful Creatures
The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness
Eragon (actually done well this time) along with the rest of them (the inheritance cycle)
The study series

60 Name: Lupa Dracolis : 2010-04-19 08:34 ID:oWGBcz8Q

>>59 If it was done right, the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness would be an amazing group of films. However, judging from my experience of long series made into films, the most likely thing to happen would be that they all get squished into one, which would totally kill them.

61 Name: Dark Wolf : 2010-04-28 00:34 ID:qIwH6yUS

Totally would love to see all 22 of Christine Feehan's DARK VAMPIRES novels hit the big screen, they're so full of mystery and sexy bits! Only trouble is the Men/Women you envision would be sooo difficult to bring to life just right.

And Lynsay Sands Vampire Novels too, they all crack me up! It would be more humour than anything else.

62 Name: Darksecretlove : 2010-05-02 13:25 ID:dKOO2T0G

Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy really!!!
Eragon and the other books (but then WELL DONE, the original films SUCKED!)

63 Name: Satan's Pixie : 2010-05-02 13:58 ID:95YfHU7h

I'd like to see the 'Redwall' novels by Brian Jacques or the 'Belgariad' and the'Mallorean' by David Eddings, although I think it would be a really good idea to do a remake of 'Howl's Moving Castle' by Diana Wynne Jones as the version already in existence isn't very true to the book. David Eddings' stories are really cool and I think they'd transfer well to films.

64 Name: Ozuchi Kozuchi : 2010-07-11 18:59 ID:2+xz7AOE

>>40 I totally agree on the Gemma Doyle triology. Those were some of the most fantastic books I've ever read! Also, Libba Bray's "Going Bovine" would make a funny movie as well.

>>50 They're making a City of Bones movie?! Oh, I pray it doesn't turn out as bad as Eragon did. Shivers

>>17 I adore Tamora Pierce books! I would be first in line if The Song of the Lioness Quartet was made into a movie...and go on a rampage if it turned out bad...-_-

I suggest they make a Skulduggery Pleasant movie, and Hunger Games (once the books are complete).

65 Name: Lupa Dracolis : 2010-07-12 03:53 ID:RIWNXGv9

Sherryl Jordan's books would make good films, especially Secret Sacrament and Time of the Eagle.

66 Name: AnneCupcake : 2010-07-12 05:19 ID:ebw52sUj

Mirror's Egde, fer sure. I wouldn't even care if they didn't use the first-person view like the game, because that would be hard, even with todays movie technology. But just the awesomeness of the game converted to a movie, would be great.

And, @Darksecretlove: Kingdom Hearts too! :3

67 Name: slashfilled-mind : 2010-07-12 06:33 ID:5u8wp14K

I think a (well-done) film version of Kuroshitsuji would be amazing. I really wanna see how they could make Sebastian, with good special effects.

68 Name: CiliaRAWR : 2010-07-12 14:56 ID:ebw52sUj

@AnneCupcake: I agree with Mirror's Edge!

And then my own pick would be either The Legend of Zelda (Orcarina of Time or Twilight Princess, one of them) or one of the trilogies from Robin Hobb: The Farseer trilogy or the Tawny Man trilogy. ^^

69 Name: Yellow 14 : 2010-07-17 12:31 ID:n35EiR6v

The Black Magician trillogy by Trudi Canavan. And maybe the Italian comic book series W.I.T.C.H (Sadly unlikely) As long as it's done RIGHT!

70 Name: captinifeelwozey : 2010-07-20 03:20 ID:5pneGeUw

Vampire Academy!

71 Name: The one that will not be named : 2010-07-20 06:40 ID:fsUSPDVB

Silent Hill 2! for those who don't know it, it's a horror game with a great story that would be rather suitable for movie adaption. it really messes with people's minds!

72 Name: Yemi Hikari : 2010-07-27 14:31 ID:8OEbZdmM

I would want to see, done right that is, a live action, Bleach, Fruit Basket, Ayatsuri Sakon, Rurouni Kenshin, Inuyasha... but only if it was good.

73 Name: PatchsFallenAngel : 2010-08-10 05:28 ID:1A3IJytY

I would love to see Vampire Academy, Hush Hush and Fallen as a movie.

74 Name: BlackMage16 : 2010-08-10 08:13 ID:dn+TLmmQ

>>69 I'd love to see a movie adaption of The Black Magician Trilogy. Also I think Skip Beat would be pretty cool on the big screen or at least as a tv drama.
>>30 mentioned a webcomic, so I'm gonna do the same. Inverloch or The Phoenix Requiem by Sarah Ellerton: all of these would make awesome movies in my opinion. I suggest people check them out as the artwork and stories are amazing.

75 Name: Yemi Hikari : 2010-08-10 09:13 ID:8OEbZdmM

I am going to add to this list. I would like to see a movie adaptation of Redwall. Not cartoon adaptation, but movie. Seeing the advertisment for the Gaurdian of Gaul makes me think they can pull off a really good one.

76 Name: Bitch Goddess : 2010-08-10 13:23 ID:QtzhFXdy

I would love to see Cheyenne McCray's Magic series made into movies, they have everything good in them: romance, action, magic, mystical beings. Oh and if Ben Barnes played the bad guy...shivers Yum :)

77 Name: EvilFuzzy9 : 2010-08-10 17:07 ID:OlMFCxxt
