Well, if we ever have enough people from BC, perhaps we can have an event there. So this thread is for the discussion and planning for such an event.

What do you people think would be a good time and place for the event? In what part of BC should it be? Should it be in Vancouver or somewhere else? In what particular spot should it be?

Additionally, what would be a good time/date for the event, when most of us can make it?

Well, Vancouver is a very popular place, and that is where a lot of events do happen; but what about somewhere outside of there? Maybe one closer to the eastern side of BC, and maybe one up north as well. Not everyone can travel to Vancouver, or afford to travel there as well.

Ya, the events shouldn't just be in Vancouver, though there should still definetly be events there

Well, in order to have an event, we need to pick a time and place to meet together. Where do you people think we should meet? What day/time do you people think would be good for the meeting?

A weekend would probably be a better time. And perhaps the BC Interior would be a good place to hold the event. It's kind of in the middle of the province, so it's accessible.

We should obviously have a general idea of how many there are who would show up, right? Even if we decide on a place, our main source of members and participants would be those among the actual city/town itself.
So we should try to aim for places with higher population, or easier access to advertising.

I'm just throwing ideas out there. I live in Vancouver, and I'm not very familiar with cities in BC, so when it comes to the overall population and comfort of BC cities, I'm not someone you should go to. When I travel, I travel out of the country xD

We missed quite a few opportunities with the long weekends that have passed. Obviously a weekend, or a day that people can come out during the afternoon would be ideal.

I agree with Paper Bullets. I don't know many places outside my city... Sometimes I don't even know some places within my city. I spend to much time on the computer and get out too little. but I think a weekend is good, and at a place with higher population is good, and preferably somewhere where the number of people interested in Fan-art is higher.
