Hetalia is the bees knees~! I'm not quite as obsessed with it as I was six months ago, but I still absolutely love it and have SO many fic ideas for it! (I have about 50 pages worth of ideas XD Literally. I counted them once XD)

I'm always behind on watching the anime episodes though. And when the movie comes out, I'm counting on my friend to remind me, otherwise I'll totally miss it and that would be a TRAGEDY!

Hetalia is just amazing! (Even though they screwed up the new theme. Bring back Marukaite Chikuyuu!) I actually caught myself using their real names in my history and geography notes without noticing it... I must admit, it makes invasions a lot more fun. Especially France invading anything. That's just so in character!

I don't read fanfic in the Hetalia fandom - mostly because I don't care enough about the characters to ship them and also I am not a big slash/yaoi fan.

I do love the anime/manga and find it hilarious. I even went and forked out 3000yen for the Igirisu Character single from Animate here in Japan :P Got Italy's Maru Kaite Chikyuu single for only 200yen though in BookOff :P

While I like the Anime, I don't really care to read fanfiction about it, because it is satire that I think most authors would miss in fanfiction writing, unless they were really good. Plus, the slash conotations... not my thing.

As for the reason that the episodes are so short, that is because someone made from a web comic, and it doesn't get as much fundings or time alloted to it as does other Anime's. Think of it kind of like Red vs. Blue...

Love Hetalia! Currently my fandom and the reason I went to AX this summer :D

Hetalia is amazing, not only is it about history (which is usually very boring to me), but it's also incredibly funny and cute PLUS since I'm a hardcore yaoi fan that also helps. It's also really awesome that pretty much all the fans of Hetalia are so nice and amazing <3

Also the cosplayers are just WOW!

As for fanfics, well, not all of them deal with History, from what I saw - well, it's the principle of many AU. Though I have to admit that knowing History is better...

Thinking about it... Arthur, I'm sorry but you were married (virtually speaking) to Francis as early as 1396 (or was it 1397)... Richard II married the daughter of Charles VI to conclude a truce... runs away

Still, the one thing I can say is that you have to read stuff if you plan on writing on a country that is not your own - otherwise, there are stuff that you know about your country that others would not.

Actually, what I don't really like is like people writing the dialogues in German in fics for Germany and Prussia (well, some words or whatever, okay)... but please, stop that! Or put a translation.
And no more Google Translated French please, it hurts...

I like Hetalia quite a bit. The fandom is...rather crazy at times, but it's interesting.

I...I write fic for it. While well-researched historical fanfiction is wonderful, so are the ones that expand on the (rather uncomplex) personalities and relationships (which are satisfying) in the series.

I love hetalia, a lot, its one of the funest fandoms I've ever been a part of, and I'm damn glad I am.

I write for it, often. And read, too. I like a lot of pairings (pretty cracky ones, too), but my personal favorite is Itacest (N.Italy/S.Italy). But I also love AmeriBela, Spamerica, Amerimano, and various others...

I love Lovi, he is just... gah~ I love him.

Writing for the fandom can be rather interesting if you're incorporating history into it, because...you know. The history mixed with the characters makes for a fun experience, usually. (Sometimes it gets you depressed.)

I like hetalia but I can't help but think that I should hate it because it makes fun of my home land (well, my grandparents home land) Not everyone in Italy is like that!!! It makes fun of every country! I'm english - I'm quite good at cooking, thank you very much. But they're supposed to represent the countries, not the people in them, making them steriotypes. Like America chomping on all those hamburgers and acting like a complete douche.

But I'll tell you something about Italy which makes you think that, yeah, they got Italy damn right!

Yo, fanfictioners (Yeah, not an actual word, but here we are) Anyways, like a lot of you, I enjot fanfiction. Reading, writing, all of it I enjoy. While I do do that as well, I do have an outside life, with fun things, but whenever I need a peace of mind, I know that when I read stories from here, well, they just put me there. And yes, thanks to the link, you can probably tell that one of my favorite anime is Yu-Gi-Oh, being it a show I grew up with. Ask me any question about any character, I could answer it. I like Hetalia, and a good number of yaoi pairings. It's funny too. But I'll have to say this and I hope you don't kill me for it:

I don't like HetaOni. Why? I think the game itself is a joke (in terms of gameplay, graphics don't mean anything), the hype is too much and the plot itself, no offense, I think is just ripped off from Higurashi inflated with excessive amounts of yaoi (I love yaoi, but if it just TAKES OVER the story, it's just no). Italy is an idiot for not learning his lesson on NOT touching the house. Sure, he maybe be elevated, but he can be considered a dick (I don't understand why everyone doesn't hate him by now). Higurashi itself is legit and poignant. Yaoi can ruin a story, you know?

I'm sorry for offending any of you. All in all, Hetalia was one of the very reasons why I paid attention in APUSH (I got a 4!).
