So, how has our day been?
Lovely, and tomorrow another meeting which should also be lovely!
Boring :(
Swine Flu kills my world. I've only seen one human face to face since wednesday and that was the guy who delivered my medicinal stuff haha.
So yeah, I lazed around a lot, watched a lot of Disney movies, and now am getting an early night because I currently feel like crap :/
~waves~
been doing uni work all day but it hasnt been a bad day. Watched some friends which is always good.
Urgh, revision for exams!...but yesterday I saw a nutty professor type person so I'm still quite happy because of that. And he'll be teaching at my new school!
Dull. I'm revising too - French mostly, since I have a speaking exam in a couple of weeks and need to write out what I'm saying. And I'm doing some Biology, even though the exam isn't until March.
And I got woken up by my dad's alarm at half past six this morning, and he never got up to sort it. It went off at five minute intervals until I went out at half past seven.
I have chemistry and physics...not fun! Bad luck on the alarm, Fee. My brother/sister used to come into my room and annoy me at five minute intervals, but thankfully they've grown out of it now.
nothing new. trying to finish a new story while my fiance and our friend play FFx on my playstation. also trying to get my friends all together, for once since we were in school.
Yay, only one test left!
It was horribly horribly horrible. Eesh. Exams.
They're not too bad some of the time, but I popped my pink out of the joint this morning, and it's been rattling around there under my hand all day. And I've been writing far too much by hand lately, so I have callused fingers.
~sighs~
Sympathy or hugs for my petty troubles would be nice. Barring that, a cookie.
Give me a cookie.
You can have the half of the cookie you said that you would steal from me? If that makes anything better.
=]
I've done my Biology and Chemistry exams and I'm positive that I failed... :P So I'm putting that beside me and trying to manage my time and work better as a new ywars resolution!
are these GCSEs or A-levels everyones on about?
I did my first AS Chemistry module the other day and I... well it didn't go too well. Looks like I might have to fall back on my plan B (sex up the teacher ;D)
Well I don't know about anyone else, but mine are GCSEs.
Mine are GCSEs too. Last lot of multiple choice in March, then I have to actually know the answers...and revise, maybe.
Mine are A-Levels too D:
I did AS maths last week, which went okay and I have a Biology A2 next week... which I am SO going to fail, regardless of whether I revise my ass off or not. I wish I was like you LASER, who is capable of creating a plan B, even if it does include sexing up a teacher.
My plan B is just do it again next year.
Plan C is run away before my parents come at me with their pitchforks.
Well, I'm Megan, 14, and live in Northwest England.
I write mainly Harry Potter, but I also dabble in Doctor Who/Torchwood and similar.
My user is MissRainbird on fanfiction.net =D
Wrong thread, Megan. You want the one down below!
I did my language exam, and am softly certain I failed it. It was traumatising, and I've got a raging headache. Not such a good day.
Woah, I did my maths, physics, biology exams back in November, got my results yesterday=D Maths, A* Physics, A* Biology C =(
I did my french oral a few days ago too...... I went in fully preped but fucked up=(
They're good results, well done :)
A* in physics, I don't think I ever got over 50% in a physics exam for GCSE :P
Blindfirekiller
Were they the AQA Science Exams? I f they are I got Biology- A* Chemistry- A* and Physics- A. I did a German Oral a few days ago as well. That went okay.
Well done such great results!
Science exams? I've yet to get my results, but when they come I think they'll be just fine :) Wish I could do better in physics though :-/ I'm (tbh) good in the lessons, but the exams? Nada.
Wow, you people have really good results! :D
pretty boring to be honest, but tommorrow is another day ;)
all my exams were out the way last week so it is time
to relax ;D
My exam results come in May. I can't wait that long!!
>>24 Two people in our class got full marks on all of those. I was amazed.
I got Biology A, Chemistry A*, Physics A*. If anyone's interested.
And I have French oral on Thursday :'( I haven't even written it yet, much less learned it :S
>>28 If you mean the science modules, I got full marks on them all so far (modules 1 and 3), I only have my module 2 tests to go. :D
I bombed out in both those classes lol
The AQA science exams? So many of my friends got straight '100's in those, it's ridiculous.
Though, I think I got the best value-for-work ratio, as seen in a discussion with me, a friend, and someone the year below who was worried about the exams.
Me: It's fine, you really don't need to revise.
Friend: You do, I put loads of work in, and got my three 100s!
M: Yeah, I only did the half-day before each exam writing a crib sheet of key points.
F: Well, what did you get?
M: (nonchalantly) 3 A*s
F: grrr
My phone decided to stop working. :(
Ah, well.
I woke up this morning at about 2, and couldn't get back to sleep for about another hour. When I did fall back asleep, I kept dreaming that all the responcibilities I've taken on were crashing down around me, until my Dad woke me up at 6:30 (he does this every morning). I then accidentally fell back asleep again, which got my Dad angry. When I finally got downstairs, my younger brother continually mocked me until I left the room (the kitchen). I am having a horrible day and it's only 7:48.
German homework is getting on top of me. Writing letters about yourself to non-existent people in another language is not my idea of fun. Why did I take this subject?
...because the German language is so cool? Or maybe in case you go back in time to world war II, so you can understand what the NAZI is shouting at you.
Hehe, my German teacher's terrible :P
my German teacher's lovely i just suck at German lol and German is a definitely an amusing language although not sure it's cool lol
Same. Mrs Gamon or, as I like to call her, Mrs Ham, enjoys using teaching techniques suited for year sevens. I am in year 11. Writing our name on the board doesn't scare us any more, Mrs G!
Hehe, my music teacher in year 8 did that. It was like a jail :P
But yeah, my German teacher is 'schreklich.' And, to make matters worse, she's the only German teacher at the school. Tough decision not to take it a A-Level, eh? :P
My German teacher hates me, no idea why... I like German as a language but not a lesson, probably going to take French for GCSE though.
My teacher is actually pretty cool if you don't annoy her. It's like today we debated the worthwhilness of soaps for half an hour just because we are doing televison programmes in the lesson. :)
See, we sometimes do that, but we're not meant to :P
Yay, I got out of German today :) I had my Spanish speaking exam, which went well :)
>>43 congrats on the Spanish and the getting out of German.
In German today we spent pretty much the whole lesson doing a foundation reading paper. We are the top set in German. I finished in about...15/20 minutes? So I spent the rest of the time doodling manga eyes.
Haha. In my school there is only one German class with 10 people in it. It's not the most popular of subjects.
@ Brownie Monster
You go to TOGS right...?
That means you have Mrs. Buswell
She's my form tutor. ^.^
She's really nice :)
No, it's just dull waiting for everyone else to finish.
>>48 It only bugs me BECAUSE it's dull waiting for everyone else to finish.
I once had that issue but that may have been due to them not giving us half of the paper meaning we had to do it in a mad rush 5minutes from the end. Idiots.
Oooh...ICT exam soon, spread out over 15 hours. Wish me luck! <3
Good luck Refi! Hope you do well.
Good Luck! Hope you get the grade you want!
Aww, you're all so sweet, thanks guys! Hugs and kisses! x x x x x x x x
>>56 How did the exam go?...if you've done it yet.
It starts on the 24th after we come back from half term break. I'll keep you informed :P
fairly average day. In fact, every day seems to be average.
Oh god I have so many GCSE exams coming up :(
I'm gonna fail :@
>>60 Same! I've just 'finished' my art coursework and it's bloody awful!
I just found out that I have to buy either a labcoat or overalls, and a pair of hard shoes/boots - or I can't do the workshop training that I need to finish part of my course.
~sigh~
Need money...not good.
At least I'll get some funny pics if I get big blue overalls though...=]
That sucks. I have internal and external exams two weeks after half term so I will be spending most of this week revising. :( Another set of those science modules. You just gotta love them- please note the sarcasm.
Hm. Interesting. So if this thread isn't 'pleasant chat' (after all, how on Earth would the site's creator make a thread in the wrong place?), what might it be?
@... I dunno about you, but I'ma use it for griping!
i'm feeling nerve wracked. Nearly crashed on my mock test...twice. I'm dreading my next driving lesson, 'cuz I feel I'm going to muck up again. v_v But hey, life's good in general.
Ugh, had a VERY busy day at work, came home to find that my favourite cat had kidney failure and they had to put her down.
Crap day is crap.
Hmmm... I got my mock exam results back. Not great.
I want my science results back, but we don't get them until May!
That seriously sucks. I'm currently trying to learn yet another German speech. The third this year!
Back in year eight in German, we had completely random crazes for certain words. We'd try to fit them into anything the teacher asked us. I remember Schloss (castle), Kaze (cheese) and Tintenfisch (squid) were the favourites. Ah, those were the good days.
Sounds funny. We used to laugh at these songs that were written for the course with these kids singing about how various parts of thier bodies hurt. I will never forget a guy in my class standing up in the middle of it and shouting 'Mein Arme tut weh!' Good times.
Poor boy hurt his arm, and you all laughed. ;)
In year seven, we were doing tie-dying in DT the lesson before French. Our French teacher was from Brittany, and one of the girls in our French and DT classes tie-dyed her hands blue. Needless to say, the poor man was very confused. We learnt 'help, my hands are blue', 'I need to go to the nurce' and 'am I going to die' in French...none of which I can now remember. Meh.
@73- Presumably:
'Aidez moi; mes mains sont bleues!', 'Je besoin aller á l'infirmière' and 'je vais mourir' respectively. My grammar and/or phrasing may well be appalling; I dropped French after GCSE.
I dropped it after year 9, so you're better than I am. I can ask and answer questions abouut grammar, and dot just enough French words into my sentences to annoy my mum (who took French at uni) with my atrocious grammar.
Same here! Couldn't bear the thought of two more ideas with accents. Why do they even need them? We get along just fine without them.
Tired. Regretting going to sleep at 5am last night.
Yoshino, I'm glad you made this forum, it's a good idea.
Today, much better. Last night I crashed on my bed after a hopital 4-hour volunteer shift at 8. I didn't wake up until 6:45 the next morning. But I feel good today though. Just got an English assignment out of the way.
I'm going to get my tattoo now - so I'm awesome. Tattoo number 5 is officially getting done! Woooooo!
Ooh, what are your tattoos?
Umm...Scorpion in the middle of my back, cat on my right shoulder, a pawprint on the same shoulder, this random design on my foot that goes from toes to ankle, and my new one is writing in between my shoulder blades.
And I'm not finished yet, but I'll wait a while before my next one. I swear. More than a year I promise =P
>>81 - Dude, you have to show them to us at the Newcastle Meet in March :D Lol, I'm such a huge cat person as well, we just got a couple of cats yesterday from someone who was moving into a rented house where she couldn't have cats :D
They're adorable, they're about 2 years olds with jet black fur, and at the minute they're both hiding under the sideboard in the dining room :D But we do know they like tuna, as the only thing they had to eat last night. Oh, they're so sweet! (Lol, yes, some people know me as the 'crazy cat woman' on account of us having 4 cats now :P)
I have 4 cats at home. One of them is black, and built like a brick shit house, I kid you not, he takes up so much room, is impossible to carry, and is too strong to hold when he wants to get away. The female vet in my town is scared of him =] But he's my baby and I love him, he's great with me haha, sleeps in my bed.
I'll definately show you them, I'll be sure to wear shoes that I can easily show you my foot with...or I'll just whack mysocks off in the middle of newcastle, either way.
Any luck on changing the dates of the March meet to the 22nd or something, I think thats the 2nd last weekend, though I could be insanely wrong.
I have 6 cats 3 gerbils and a dog
I am jealous of you :)
6 cats = <3 not so much on the dog though. Dogs scare me slightly.
I love dogs but sadly don't have one :(
I live on a farm. We have some cows, around 20 if I'm not mistaken. We have about three chickens, a dog, about 10 cats and two donkeys - my parents. Oh, and in addition to that perhaps some mice and spiders and other ugly things in the stables.
One of our new black cats has gone missing, she got out the cat flap and we don't know where she is :(
God, I can type well when I'm drunk :D I had 3 Smirnoff Ices, 1 VK blue, 1 VK orange, 1 V2 blue and some weird red shot I can't remember the name of. I think I type better drunk than sober actually :o
Oh, and I think the meeting will be on the 21st March, the 22nd is a Monday lol. Tomorrow I'll stick up a new blog with that on, for now I'm looking forward for the one tomorrow... assuming I'm sober enough to drive...
See y'all later!
Got yet another set of those Science Exams tommorow! Good Luck to everyone else who is doing them!
>>90 Good luck with the exams!
>>90 Which ones were you doing?
I had all the 1Bs and I think I may have to resit them all. I failed. I'm sure I did.
I did the 1B ones as well. If found them hell of a lot harder than the last one.
>>94 Glad it wasn't just me. I thought Physics was the easiest, but then I had two revision lessons for that against none for the others. Half the questions just didn't make any sense.
I found the one about the seed dispersal traps quite annoying. Even my Biology teacher didn't know the answer!
So not looking forward to them. I'm doing my ISA'a in the next few weeks. Those sheep were kinda confusing, I think I went with that they were twins or something.
>>98 Hell no. And I've got numbers 3 coming up soon. Can't wait! (please note the sarcasm)
My day's been around average, my schoolbag snapped (thanks to my friend who thought it'd be funny to tug on my PLASTIC bag as it was on the end on breaking and could've survived maybe ONE MORE day D:) so I had to carry a heavy bag around all day >w<.
When I came home though my parents had got me a new bag anyway because of my LAST bag snapping :3.
GCSE's are annoying, might be doing my Ideas in Context papers for Science (oh joys!) and I've got my French speaking exam sometime this year D: and I SUCK at remembering french >w<!!
I least I got a C and B on my last Science papers... :)
Pretty depressing and down. Been trying to make updates on all my fiction and artwork stuff =[ but illness getting me down
>>102 Ouch on the bag front.
We already did our speaking exam last year, though we have another one to do next year. I have writing exams. Swap?
What's an Ideas in Context paper? I've never heard of it :S
>>103 Aww, hope you feel better soon! :)
>>104 I got my exam timetables today - I don't know anything about geography either. I'm lucky - my set doesn't take maths until the end of next year, but we do have a statistics paper this year.
My day? Dull. Too tired to have fun.
Riding lesson was equal to pain, and my friend cancelled on me. :(
I'm in an oddly good mood today. Don't know why...
I love the talk about B2, C2 and P2 here haha. Dreading B3, C3 and P3. Some advice: DO NOT SLACK OFF IN PHYSICS OR YOU WILL BE CONFUSED AND MISERABLE LIKE ME :'(
Got an A in C2, which I was happy with but realised I have to resit. -.-
If anyone needs help in Math, just ask. (:
I think I'm gonna go draw now... Slacking in art.
Physics and Maths are my personal hell. I'm much of an English/History person.
On a lighter note, I have just returned from a very enjoyable geography trip to Iceland during which I spent most of the time laughing at my teacher who went hyper.
The geography exams shouldn't be too hard. We did a practice one a few weeks ago and I only lost one mark which I am pretty happy about. I always seem to forget something on the six markers.
Anyhow, Happy Easter!
I watched Death Note and drooled over L and Light, my day could get no better XD
I am also planning my second fanfiction I intend to post on Fanfiction.net.
I've finished reading Death Note! My life now has a hole...
Yay Death Note! I've got the book of Change the WorLd and it's teh awesomeness :P
Can I have L? Pleeeeaaase?
I want to watch Death note!
I've watched Full metal Alchemist and I'm watching Bleach...
I hate it that Britain doesn't have any good Anime on T.V!
I watched Howl's moving castle the other day. It was O.K...
Thanx for the link! XP
(hug)
Yay, I get a hug!
I'm ill...not good :(
Oh God I've got exams in a few weeks and have done next to no revision- literally nil work. I'm such a procrastinator, screw this I'm off to watch Glee. :P
Hi!
All good, no work and all sunshine and play!!!
I spent the day relaxing in the sun :)
My exams start soon, RE and Preparation for Working Life in May and History and Geography in June. Haven't even thought about starting to revise yet though.
I got my results through for the science:
Biology- 47/A*
Chemistry- 50/A*
Physics- 45/A* (I think)
Also got my Chemistry ISA result, 38/40. Highest in the year :D
I'm pretty happy overall but annoyed that my Physics mark wasn't high enough to make up the last one keeping me on an A. Ah,well. Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and hasn't had their life disrupted by the ash cloud. I was in Iceland a few weeks ago on a trip and stood on the glacier next to the erupting volcano. COuldn't see the lava though, just a load of ash.
I find it hard to believe there's a massive cloud of ash above the UK...it's so sunny! The sky's been clear and blue all day today and yesterday where I live. No ash in sight.
The ash isn't visible to the human eye, we won't see it unless it comes down and lands.
Sneaky. So a bit like when we get sand from the Sahara then.
When you said Sneaky, I had an image of ninja particles of dust darting around and bouncing off air particles, making sure no one spots them, while they watch everything... O_o
Ninja dust FTW
Fan fiction buddy is stuck in Portugal, so I can't send her any of my work.
Apart from that, I'm happy. Schools actually been pretty good.
I had to do rounders in PE. Man, do I hate PE. On the plus side, I was fielding, so if I ran away from the ball, the teachers would be annoyed, but no one would really care!
...I despise PE.
Ugh, and now I'm stuck doing Statistics course work for the night... Oh, I have art h/w due tomorrow... I didn't do it... And Maths tests due... I haven't done them... I should learn that procrastinating isn't the answer!
You think stats c/w is bad, try having a 2000 word report for Science in Society. Due in on Thursday.
Too true... Right now we're looking at that formula... what was it? (The numbers in [ ] are powers)
(p+q)[6]=p[6]+6p[5]q+15p[4]q[2]+20p[3]+q[3]+15p[2]q[4]+6qp[5]+q[6]
What's that called, those who know? I 'unno, I was just about following the lesson. I wasn't able to do anything anyway, because my calculator only works for about three seconds at a time, and only if you hold it face down... So, yah, it's dying.
But I digress. Today was ok... I just found out I stayed up until 3:30 for no reason last night, as my coursework is due on friday. Not that I wouldn't stay up that late, anyway, but that's not the point!
I am so glad that I'm not at that level yet. I'm bad enough at maths anyway. How I've manged to stay in top set all these years is beyond me. I had to do rounders the other day as well but we only had 6 people on a team which basically mean that we all had to be bases and field at the same time. Obviously, we didn't do to well.
Urgh, SiS report due in today, as is my awful ICT project. The marking makes no sense!!
Arg only just finished work, I hate pulling those nasty 25hour shifts that make you feel all grumpy and moody and then you look in the mirror and see that really nasty person staring back and pray to some kind of god that is not you!
Only it is!
How on earth we can converse and serve people looking this minging is just plain wrong!! I wanna sleep!! Where's my bed?? Oh bus is here, nearly to my car...then bed!!
Aw... Wanna hug? I've got too much art homework on my hands... I need to finish making my shoe prototype, but I keep saying the words which are the downfall to many; "I'll do it later."
I fail. I also ask myself why I took TWO art classes. T-T Oh, I dunno...
Lol, gimme one!!
I'd love to mkae a shoe...well decorate it anyway!
I have a thing about painting shoes with odd designs and adding buttons, pins and oddities. Then I know I made that shoe lol
I wish that I could say I like to do that but I am so bad at that stuff that I am embaressed my the outcome so often i've kinda given up. I stick to writing. :)
Wise. I've lost sleep over these classes. Then I have stats, which doesn't help. And GCSE Geography. Man am I a fool for taking that... But I am glad I didn't take photography, or I'd just have three art classes on my hands... Acctually, I'd quite like photography, I love taking pictures... But then I probably won't sleep, and turn into L from death note...
>>137 so it's not mascara then?
So much to do this week! Re-do my German aural, re-do large parts of my ICT coursework, oh yeah, and I have my ART GCSE EXAM on Wednesday and Thursday!!
>>137 Arghhh stats and geography don't remind me. Starting the 'controlled assessment' (coursework, but an exam) this week. For geography, anyway.
Stats is just...uck. And it collides with rehearsals, and I can't afford to miss either.
I actually like Geography :) However, I haven't had to do the controlled assesment yet, that horror isn't till after my HUman Geography exam. Is it me or does the word sustainable appear on practically every page of the text book?
haha,
I'm a flight attendant so if you need extra 'help' with Geographical subtexts and latitude things gimme a buzz.
That an German too...So Luna if you need some German cross-checking i'll gladly do it for you.
Ellasphere - I so would LOVE to go back to school and do textile technology again. We had to make clothes in our class, based on a geographical topic. For some unknown reason I picked Tunisia and ended up making a belly-dancers outfit; which was majorly embarassing as we had to wear and parade our makes through the school for the end of term exam, and be judged!
I was a FOOL!!
I had three NABs today. I had to stay an extra hour and twenty minutes after school. I messed up my english personal study NAB so badly she's refered me on to another teacher. In short not a good day.
>>141 A belly dancers costume in front of the school.Oooh that sounds harsh.
Another home day...doing housework - gah its nasty! though on a plus note made, home baked cookies - choco-chip and toffee melts
>>142 totally was, but was worth it for the grade.
Which is what i kept telling myself.
School sucked today, just boring. But on the plus side, I went out and bought a jar of chocolate spread and meringues! I like to eat chocolate spread out of the jar! ...If I didn't have such a high metabolism, I'd be faaaat by now...
>>144 I am so envious of you right now, I take naps and go up a dress size.
Stayed of school today because my eyelid was flickering from stress. Don't you love nervous ticks? Still haven't got a clue on how to write my personal study on Northanger Abbey. I have to get it right this time or it's a fail.
I've had a pretty good week doing work experience and it was my 15th Birthday on the 29th so I'm quite happy at the moment :)
happy belated bithday!!
Thank you!
Final exams coming up, STRESS! Okay, now that I'm done stressing out, time to start learning.
Yay! On my inset day I went and got a hair cut! Now my hair is the shortest in the family! And that includes my dad... And it looks so cute! :3
I'm ill... Oh, so ill... And on a nice, warm Saturday, too. Waaahhh!
RE exam on Tuesday. Only just startting revison now. My problem is going to be writing it all in the short amount of time we have :(
>>153 Oh, don't remind me! I'm up to my neck in revision notes...and then biology on friday!
>>153,154
Oooh tough. Good luck on your exams. Revision notes are chaos I've stuck mine on all the cupboard doors. Everytime I want a bowl of cereal I end up reading about farming in dakota and the CBD.
Just a quick HELLO to all
Well that eexam could have gone better. I was pefectly fine with the first three sections but I cam unstuck at community cohesion. That question about the government had me stuumped. Even more annoyingly, my RE teacher was certain that we would all lose marks on a media question so spent all the time revising that and it didn't even come up! grrrrr
Today I heard that I'm going to a Patio plant Plaza tomorrow an I will be there the whole day. It's close to were I live so I don't have to travel three hours by train to go to the company where I do my internship.
And I can't wait to go to the Pinkpopfestival this weekend!
Expo this weekend!! I'm so excited. =D
>>157 If it's any consolation, short course was no better. I got unstuck midway through war and peace.
On the plus side, I survived a very scary interview today, which is always good :)
Well done on the interview Fee! RE exams are never fun :(
...I liked mine...
Okay, so I never like them :) That is saying something because I'm an alter server, though I'm currently agnostic. Ah well :)
Careers day and it was the most depressing and funniest thing I have ever been too. While all the smart people were getting told how to deal with finances, I was sat with an American man telling me that I could carry the bags of people from all over the world. Or even better, become a house keeping staff.
I have totally and completely failed the first English Language paper. And the second one's tomorrow! :O
Played ping-pong during the break at school. A friend off mine forgot most off his books and his pens, but for some reason brought a ping-pong set. Save to say I had a fun day. :3
I just had my final of English which went fine and yesterday my final of maths (which was a total disaster). Now I'm typing this text and trying to prevent my dogs to eat the cat.
All in all, the regular day in my house (though I miss the screaming of my younger brother)
I wish I had a dog. Hate cats though.
>> 168 How come you don't have one, if you want one?
We don't have the time to walk it in the mornings and it would be on its own for large periods of the day which isn't really fair.
That's why I have vife of them, it means they are never alone. And we keep them in the garden (which is big) Just poopscooping every day and I'm done. (Though I also walk them)
Haha! Me, my Mum and sister are trying our best to convince my Dad to get one but he has so far only said that he will when they retire :(
I have hope though!
That's the best thing to do! Have hope my friend, your wish will come true (when they retire)
I know right? Five minute episodes...why? >.>
How am i? Crappy, that's what.
My day sucks. It's too hot, my sis has her annoying friend over again, and life sucks period...
I'm sorry you're have an bad, Ichigo. If it makes you feel any better, my pmsing is giving heat flashes and it's 90 degrees where I leave so I'm getting a headache on top of that.
aww....hugs u we both r havin bad day here...
I'm pretty good, I've been going to this computer class for 4 weeks now, this is my last, and on thursday the class gets their own free PC's.
u lucky. XD my laptop is uber crappy...DX
>>179 Betcha it ain't worse than mine. Cracked screen, faulty USB ports (all of them), busted CD burner, cooling fan doesn't work all the time, and slower than molasses.
On topic: day's been okay for me.
i've had a pretty decent day so far! I just woke up and my doggy was barkin' cause she saw this squirrel that taunts her everyday by throwin' sticks and nuts at her
Hi everyone! my names peridot0814! im fifteen, i live in NYC and i happen to love fanfiction.net...its the best. I like paiiting playing electric guitar, drawing, and dancing. Umm...wat now?
Now, we wait, my friend. We watch, worry, and wait.
No, now we watch, eat some nachos, and has a nice cold Pepsi. XD
Ehhhhh, I'm TIRED... bloody school, starting tomorrow...
School is made of the purest evil. The computers block EVERYTHING. I can't even get onto the Games Archive on FFN because it has the word "games" in it! Talk about strict!
I'm good. Well, it's pretty hard to be bad at 10:00 in the morning. I pretty much just woke up an hour ago, got on the computer, and saw that the Gorillaz oneshot I wrote last night (my very first one!) already has three reviews, which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
My day..kinda sucked :/ I had callbacks for my school's play, and I was so excited because I was the only freshman who got callbacks, and it was for the leading role. The callbacks went great and i was really confident in myself! Big mistake. They posted the cast list this afternoon and I got a lousy no-name extra..I gotta stop getting my hopes up. Guess no mater how much talent you have, it really does come down to the grade-level.
Computer science quiz. I hate my life, I couldn't properly return an array to save my life.
Mixture of great and not-so-great. French class went well, rest of the day off, actually managed to lug all my pilfered Paracelsus texts around with me...
Then I ended up gleefully analysing the most recent episodes of my fandom with two online friends, and as a result still have 1,100 words to write on an essay that's worth 50% of my module. With it due in on Monday. Grr.
(at least it's a viable excuse to escape any parties this weekend, asides from lolyeah I'm boring?)
