What do You Find Attractive, Fanbbs? (37)

1 Name: Clementine : 2010-07-10 05:58 ID:032PXQmd

Just wonderin'.

2 Name: セーラーエリスは刀の女ですか。 : 2010-07-10 08:25 ID:cmp1Xu7P

androgyny

3 Name: Clementine : 2010-07-10 13:44 ID:032PXQmd

What, only one person here finds anything attractive? Pfft...

The odd quirks I like vary depending on the guy, of course, and the guy I like at the moment is no exception. I love it when he tosses his hair and says 'I'm f-cking awesome'. It just makes me laugh so hard...

4 Name: I am a Purple Crayon : 2010-07-10 14:00 ID:x164vC3R

The perfect guy is the kind that can look at you with no makeup, messy hair, wearing your sweatpants and a t-shirt, and can tell you that you're the most beautiful girl in the world. Even better if he can mean it.
I think that being a little cheesy is cute, as long as they aren't too absorbed in themselves.

5 Name: Clementine : 2010-07-11 03:59 ID:032PXQmd

I don't think I'd like that; there'd be a pause where we'd both think 'liar'. Funny, yeah, but not too romantic. :P I'd prefer a true compliment.

I have a problem because...

a) I love dandies
b) I love guys who don't get grouchy if their appearance ain't its best

It's difficult to find a dandy without vanity. At the same time, slobbishness is offputting. Seemingly sauve guys who can laugh at themselves are few and far between, although I do know one. He can do a lovely deep voice, but he also giggles.

6 Name: KatonRyu : 2010-07-11 04:07 ID:51/Qt1wP

>>4 & >>5 Actually, that's quite possible. I think my girlfriend looks better without makeup (I don't like it in general, anyway) and wearing casual stuff than a formal dress with high heels. Hell, I even think she looks beautiful after a fencing match, still wearing her vest and such.

7 Name: Clementine : 2010-07-11 04:41 ID:032PXQmd

It's the phrase 'the most beautiful girl IN THE WORLD' that I have a problem with; I see it as entirely different to 'you're beautiful'. What's wrong with giving compliments that you actually mean?

8 Name: Finny's mommy : 2010-07-11 04:47 ID:dX68inyl

... Alexander Rybak. :p

Fuzzy, dark hair.
Chocolate brown eyes with shimmer.
Boyish look.

with girls...
High heels.
Black eyeliner.
Red lipstick.

and with both genders: NATURAL, STRAIGHT, WHITE TEETH!!

9 Name: Finny's mommy : 2010-07-11 04:49 ID:dX68inyl

>>6: True love.

10 Name: Anonymous : 2010-07-11 17:05 ID:bC31vZB/

Hmm.. What attracts me in a Guy:

  • Being seriously taller than me
  • Smart, but in a logical way, as to compliment my artistic creativity
  • Funny, makes me laugh so hard I feel out of breath.
  • Glasses
  • Didn't pick Charmander as his first pokemon.

Simple really.

11 Name: Clementine : 2010-07-11 17:11 ID:032PXQmd

@10- Ahaha, that's a flaw of the guy I like. Only, it's worse- not only did he pick Charmander, but he's also PROUD of it. He just cannot accept that Squirtle is far superior.

12 Name: KatonRyu : 2010-07-12 03:39 ID:51/Qt1wP

>>11 Make him understand that Squirtle is the best. Nothing beats Squirtle.

13 Name: Clementine : 2010-07-12 03:52 ID:032PXQmd

:( He's too stubborn.

14 Name: Anonymous : 2010-07-12 04:46 ID:vnQ0FCS+

I haven't asked my current boyfriend what his first choice was, I'm afraid to ask. Maybe it's a subject I should broach. He ticks all the other boxes, so maybe I can forgive him if he did pick Charmandaer.

15 Name: SolitaryGrimAngel : 2010-07-12 06:59 ID:UEHkOMdK

I like guys that:

  • Are taller than me
  • Have red hair
  • Wear glasses
  • have deep voices

16 Name: Finny's Mommy : 2010-07-12 13:08 ID:dX68inyl

Mmm. I would like someone taller than me, but that's very unlikely since I'm over 6ft. However, since I'm married to a woman, it doesn't matter as much. She actually did pick Squirtle. LOL

17 Name: Rowana Renee' : 2010-07-12 13:48 ID:VN0rxumu

@15 you'd love my brother on the deep voice thing, he rattles my spine everytime he whispers XP

I like guys that are

Christian

And it helps if they're cute as well...XP

And sadly I do have a crush on one guy I've never met in person. He's from a different denomination though, so I'm not sure if we both believe the same thing yet...Grins He's from fanfiction.net ^?^

18 Name: Anonymous : 2010-07-12 16:54 ID:bC31vZB/

I'd like to change my original post and add

  • Gets the hint, when I say I want to spend time with him.

Sometimes I wonder if my boyfriend's a little bit of dull, or just not that interested.

>16 How long have you been married for? Is she taller than you?

19 Name: Clementine : 2010-07-12 16:57 ID:032PXQmd

Also, I wanna add 'grade 8 piano'. It is just SO hot.

20 Name: Finny's Mommy : 2010-07-13 01:59 ID:dX68inyl

Oh, no. My wife's not taller than me. We have been married for a year since June 23.

There's a bit of an age difference as well - 9 years. And we don't live together yet either - 300 kilometres apart. :p

21 Name: moonphase : 2010-07-13 14:04 ID:dOKmubPE

>>17 "And sadly I do have a crush on one guy I've never met in person. He's from a different denomination though, so I'm not sure if we both believe the same thing yet...Grins"

That sounds...sinister... o_O

Probably not the intention.

22 Name: Clementine : 2010-07-13 17:43 ID:032PXQmd

The guy I like is going away for nearly a week... ;_; How will I bear it?

23 Name: fan-to-fiction : 2010-07-14 12:26 ID:0jjWrIot

I want something that I will never be able to get.

I want a guy who doesn't need to be with me at least once a day. I'm a sort of person who needs a LOT of personal space and time.

So I'll probably end up alone (Maybe I should try one night stands)

24 Name: DaydreamingAuthor : 2010-07-14 16:34 ID:igga+B7B

Let's see, I like guys who are:

(A) Taller than me

(B) Strong

(C) Able to be romantic, but not overly romantic all the time

And (D) Kind

Cute doesn't hurt, either :P I guess I'm just really old-fashioned when it comes to that kind of stuff.

25 Name: Clementine : 2010-07-14 17:03 ID:032PXQmd

I take kindness, GSOH and intelligence as a given. I don't mind if a guy's awkward with his kindness, or a bit lacking in empathy, but he needs a moral conscience and a desire for others to be happy (or not UNhappy, at least). I couldn't care less about height or physical strength (neediness, however, is a total turnoff).

I also generally like ridiculously skinny guys. No idea why.

Oh, the guy I like atm is so, SO cute. He's cute because he's not cute. ^_^

26 Name: Scourgeofthegalaxy : 2010-07-14 17:37 ID:k/zORKxu

I will never understand any of you.

27 Name: Anonymous : 2010-07-14 18:21 ID:032PXQmd

:P Let me explain.

A traditional 'cute' guy has floppy hair, loves puppies, has a baby-face (or big eyes, at least) and wears woolly jumpers. Think preteen boyband fodder, or a sickening uke. His nose goes red in the cold. He looks like a girl. etc.

My crush looks nothing like a trad 'cute' guy, and people who don't know him very well would probably think he was a strong'n'silent type. But he actually has loads of cute mannerisms that you only discover if you spend some time with him. And that's cuter.

28 Name: Clementine : 2010-07-14 18:28 ID:032PXQmd

Oops, that was me!

Anyway, yeah, I like the fact that my crush comes across as this suave, stern genius, when in fact he giggles (I don't giggle), uses more emoticons than I do, and can play with a button for fifteen minutes.

Now I've made it sound like there's something wrong with him... oops...

29 Name: HoldenCaulfield : 2010-07-15 03:50 ID:G28qaMlt

@Clementine
Yes, slim guys! No one seems to get this..

>>26
Well, what do you find attractive then?

30 Name: Anonymous : 2010-07-21 16:22 ID:Q6w1b1+g

Guys that act like total slobs, so I don't feel bad about being one myself.
Guys that are taller than me and are generally big people (not obese but like.. big and cuddly... maybe musclely but that's unrealistic xD; Slim guys make me feel fat).
Dorky guys with a fun sense of humour.
I'm mixed race and for some reason I really like other mixed race guys :/
Dark, heavily lidded eyes.
Big smile.-^.^-
Not necessarily really intelligent but at least tries to understand my Schizo-madness.
Guys WITH FAULTS. My friend's grandma said that perfect people don't exist, its about finding someone who has faults you can live with.
The list goes on~

31 Name: Beau : 2010-07-21 16:23 ID:Q6w1b1+g

That was me xD;

32 Name: Moon Scar : 2010-07-21 16:30 ID:pxHTzSSf

A guy who doesn't need to talk to me every 5 minutes, wondering what I'm doing. A guy whose smart and shows respect to women.

33 Name: Moon Scar : 2010-07-21 16:30 ID:pxHTzSSf

A guy who doesn't need to talk to me every 5 minutes, wondering what I'm doing. A guy whose smart and shows respect to women.

34 Name: LASER : 2010-07-24 18:03 ID:LhfqjZcC

A girl that doesn't expect me to pay for her and will not EVER change the song without consulting me, whether I'm listening to it or not

35 Name: Aver : 2010-07-25 07:01 ID:7J451txy

When it comes to personality, I'm very sensitive to girls with an aura of innocence. Shyness also works very well with me, since I'm horribly shy myself. Patience also helps =P

When it comes to looks, I'm horribly sensitive to the combination dark hair and pale skin. No idea why, since I'm always quite tanned. Ponytails also always work well with me.

36 Name: fan-to-fiction : 2010-07-25 11:31 ID:JEXslXLO

A guy who doesn't want to be with me every second of the day.
A guy who can handle things on his own and doesn't need to consult me for every step he takes.
A guy who doesn't get angry because I say I need space.
A guy who can appreciate that I also have a PERSONAL life.
A guy who doesn't want me to break up with my homosexual friends.
A guy who doesn't hit you when things don't go his way.

A guy who is at least older than 18.

In short: everything but the guys I have had already.

37 Name: Clementine : 2010-07-25 12:57 ID:032PXQmd

Whoa... why did you start dating those guys in the first place? :O Excepting the last point, those should all be really clear warning signs to stay away...
