What are your favourite comedians?
Personally, I have a bit of a thing for David Mitchell. I do love his spontaneous rants during panel shows like Would I Lie To You? and the written ones, like his SoapBox.
And Michael McIntyre. Though, to be honest, it's partly a slight fixation with his unbelievably bouncy hair.
Dara O'Briain
Bill Bailey
Eddie Izzard

Russel Howard
...Just to name a few :P
Noel Fielding and Russell Brand together. I'm not so keen on Russell by himself, but they crack me up when you put them together.
Peter Kay is a given. Micheal McIntyre and Alan Carr.
I've liked Russell Howard ever since he went crazy during this gig, and at one point, frightened the audience into not laughing

Once you get past the smut, Russell Brand is quite funny.
I like the team who worked on Garth Merenghi's Darkplace (not a specific comedian, I know, but I like them all.) I like French and Saunders, especially the old stuff.
David Mitchell is hilarious and very likeable.
I also like The Mighty Boosh and what I have seen from Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt in general (though Noel, whilst very likeable and cute, is a teensy bit over rated- please don't kill me Noel fans!)
>>11, oh yeah, Bill Bailey! He's awesome, I also like Ed Bryne and Dylan Moran. I think I quite like shows as I enjoy watching comedians bounce jokes around between them, for example, Never Mind the Buzzcocks is great (well, I do admit I only started watching it properly when Amstell became the presenter. I like Amstell, but haven't seen his stand-up. My friend saw a show and said he was good.) I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way about Fielding (as much as I love him and all...)
Okay, I am not sure if this guy is a comedian but I really think Jeff Dunham is halarious! I like Peanut and Achmed the best.
lee evans especially in The Medallion and live on stage anywhere!
Lee Evans and Michael Mcintyre!
Geert Hoste.
If nobody's said it so far, Dara O'Briain is absolutely excellent. A quick taster:

Bill Bailey and Brian Regan are also two comedians I have a particular fondness for.
Carlos Mencia, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Jeff Dunham and Gabriel Iglesias.
Robin Williams, Vic Henley, Mitch Hedburg, Wanda Sykes, and all the Blue Collar guys except for Larry the Cable guy.
I forgot about Robin Williams, but as for the blue collar, I only like Larry the cable guys, the others are kind of bland.

My favorites are Dane Cook, even though a lot of people don't like him anymore, and Carlos Mencia
I miss Carlos Mencia...whatever happened to him?
>>23 If I remember correctly, people got tired of him stealing jokes and Comedy Central axed his show. Or something like that.
Favorites would probably be:
Louis CK (I didn't really get into his TV show, though.)
Maria Bamford (Wish she would get another special.)
Christopher Titus (I enjoy him on occasion.)
Kevin Hart
Patton Oswalt
and there's one more I can't remember the name of, but in one of his one-hour specials he was talking about punching muffins and I might have already listed him, but... Yeah. That's my list.
Gabirel Igelsias!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!that guy is so fukin funny
Bill Engvall
Jeff Foxworthy
Ron White
Gabriel Iglesias
Mitch Hedburg
Wanda Sykes
