Annoying Family Members (24)

1 Name: MegaUnknownxx : 2010-05-16 05:43 ID:ga6dUPmH

I can't be the only one, everyone must have a sister who steals all your clothes and all the hot water in the shower. Or a nan that struggles to distinguish between you and said sister. Or a brother who thinks that it would be fun to hide all your school work.
The most recent annoyance via a family member was courtesy of my dad:
Dad: You need to lose a bit of weight
Me: Thank you, I'll keep that in mind
Dad: No really you do. Get a bike.
This is annoying as this repeated about ten times despite the fact that a) by doing this he actually made me late for my gym class b) i'm not really overweight...I'm just not a stick and finally c) I can't ride a bike

Urgh, rant over and done with. Anyone else suffer from irritating family members?

I vote for my fucking father!

4 Name: Esmeralda : 2010-05-16 06:46 ID:KalJOd6S

My grandfather keeps calling our cat Yona, when she's called Yoda. Which is really annoying, because he knows she's called Yoda.

>>4 Maybe he doesn't like Star Wars? Which is a heinous crime, and he must be lightsabered immediately!

Most annoying? Probably my brother. When he's bored, he annoys me 'til I shout at him or my sister 'til she screams, and then goes and complains at length to the other about said shouting/screaming. He is a morning person, and believes that I should be too, which is why I was awoken at 6:30 this morning. 6:30! At the weekend!!

My whole family alot.

Hmmm, my youngest sister. Too melodramatic and likes to bitch about her friends because they bitch about her... >>

My little brother and sister seem to think it's hilarious to come and wake me up at half past five in the morning, in the HOLIDAYS, yelling, "Ellie, it's time to get up!! Can you come and get us breakfast? Ellie, why are you still asleep?!"
Oh, for the day when they appreciate the value of a lie-in...

Haha, young children are so annoying...

11 Name: fan-to-fiction : 2010-06-10 10:10 ID:mOTL2IOs

My little brother always sneaks into my room and steals stuff. It rather annoying when I have finals for math and I can't find my calculator... And other stuff he shouldn't have in possession are found strewn around underneath his bed.

To think that he's not little anymore and already 15. When will he grow up...

My dad and my brother.

13 Name: TV Geek : 2010-06-28 05:49 ID:EaIKa/hZ

My dad. My brothers. My mum, although to a slightly lesser degree.

My dad shouts and throws things. The older of my two brothers (I'm the eldest of the three of us) does almost the same thing, only he's also incredibly childish. The other brother has no understanding of the word no and therefore never stops nagging you when he wants something he feels he's entitled to, even if it's not his. And my mother's just a nag.

14 Name: Tristana : 2010-07-01 10:28 ID:gc36Y0a1

My mother wins on that one. I came back from a year in Scotland last thursday and at 11pm she asked me about my school.
On the day after, she was nagging because I didn't have a job and so on.

I take it as an aggression because she's always smiling that infuriating smile and always makes me feel worthless and as if I was wasting their money. And when I tried to ask for her to stop, saying that it was making me feel like shit, she LAUGHED!

I wish I could say I love my mother but I HATE it! And she wants me to be 'at the service of the whole family from 8am to 12'... I just came back home and she shoves it to my face, saying I would never get any money and whatever.

And my cousin is annoying... 25, no gf and always comparing himself with me or my bro, yelling that my bro is a bastard because he HAS a girlfriend - almost beat me when I told him the truth... Stupid family...

And sorry guys, I ranted...

Fan-to-fiction: Brothers may grow up from 18 to 20... after that, they go back to their childish attitude.

My fucking sister!!! She hates, repeats, hates yaoi. But i like it, ok? So whenever i talk about it hse's like 'You're gay, it's all gay, and since its gay, you're gay and blah bla blah, bitch bitch bitch'... ugh! she even gets upset when i play songs from Rent! She hates the Musical because it's got 'gays and lesbians in it!' ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

16 Name: Tristana : 2010-07-25 08:56 ID:2Dbr4XMV

>> 15 Wow... How old is she anyway? If she goes on a rant again, just say: 'Better to be gay than being an idiot, don't you think?' - and just ignore her. She sounds like she'd been brainwashed though... no offence. hides

Brother is now reaching the pinnacle of jerkness. My car has something leaking - brakes liquid apparently - but he STILL wants me to drive him to his driving license exam tomorrow just because he doesn't want to spend the night at my gramps because... he's afraid he'd think about his license too much and whatever the heck! I mean, my gramps have TV, Internet, he can eat anything he wants and whatever - and they are not even here!

He's damn selfish, everyone has to do what HE wants and when you don't he either find a way to make you feel guilty or yell and get violent. And if he fails his license, it'd be my fault again - as if I blamed anyone when I failed mine...

My mum's family support the BNP and me and one of my brothers are mixed race. Logic..? My mum is REALLY manipulative & sneaky, like this for example. Ages ago I wrote a letter to a friend I hadn't seen in a long time (we don't speak on the internet for some reason, and I don't have her phone number anymore), but I didn't post it because the last time we spoke, we weren't on very good terms (it's a long story). But I just decided not to send it to her after all and my mum found it, opened it, read it and decided that whatever it was I had written meant I MUST be a lesbian. WTF? As if this wasn't bad enough, she obviously went around my homophobic family telling them that I was apparently gay (even though I'm not), and so now I'm just putting up with all the annoying hints and obvious backchatting. But whatever, I put up with it for five years at school I can put up with it from them. I just didn't expect to have that pathetic bullying from them too xD;
My dad, on the other hand, doesn't understand responsibility at all like- a few years ago they started chasing him down about child support (for the first time since they divorced when I was three lol), and he basically said that my mum should work full time and pay for us completely, and then he should get all the good parts of being a dad and not give us a penny. He's rather spend it on cigarettes, his girlfriends and their spoilt, fat, dirty children.
I'm gonna stop talking now, I sound like an emo >.>

My family members piss me off sometimes, obviously, but before I start bitching, let me just say that they're generally awesome people.

Anyway, my mom tends to overreact to everything. For instance, when I told her about a FanBBS meeting I'd been to and that one of the people there can draw really effing well she immediately assumed I liked that girl and would cheat on my girlfriend, despite the fact that she knows I'm not like that.

Another thing that pisses me off is when I have to go and pick my parents up somewhere because they're too drunk to drive they still feel they should freak out about obvious things on the road, like a car coming around a corner. You want me to drive, fine, but then let me do the fucking driving!

Yeah, I know. Nothing special. I just like to bitch. /rant

>>17, that actually does sound pretty awful :/ You have my sympathies.

20 Name: Dirge : 2010-08-03 14:43 ID:xgCtgg+J

My family drives me inSANE. My mom's this huge control freak who has to have EVERYTHING her way, and ugh, does anyone know how annoying this is? She can get abusive when she's really mad, too.
For the past seven years, I've been sharing a room with my nine-year-old sister. We're, like, total opposites. She's really girly and pinky, and I'm... well... I'm a tomboy/Goth. My older brother is turning seventeen soon, and he's just kinda...
He's like the stereotypical gay guy, and he gets depressed really easily, all "My boyfriend broke up with me, pity me!"
My stepdad is really quiet, and he scares me in a child-molester way, how he seems to undress you with his eyes. >>

But there are all these bad things, but then again, they're my family. Gotta love 'em, right?

I'm the youngest so whenever my second oldest brother comes around, and me and him are the only ones it's a matter of
"I'm older, therefore I have more rights on the computer." To do what exactly?
Go on Facebook, and play on a balloon bursting game ._.

He has real life people to hang out with, (OK, So do I but my friends don't exactly hang out with me. My friend [Norbert Jam X3] whenever I go around his house he doesn't really...Do anything but play on Metal gear. All my other friends are usually busy and well, I don't see 'em often 'cause I have to get a bus ride there.)
My brother however, lives with somebody and he can invite a few friends around the house, he's old enough to buy alcohol and ahve a good time. Me however, I'm going to college so well I technically need the PC more than him.
But despite all of that it's a "screw you sis, I'm going on it."

Which leads to me going upstairs and doing even more f0ck all in my bedroom. Tsssh. Brothers.

The youngest of my older brothers, doesn't care much for the computer unless it's to play Killing Floor...(which is my game...)

The oldest never really comes around 'cause he has kids now (yaaaay my oldest brother has a life!)

FFf My dad can be a pain in the ass, constantly talking down to me like I'm 5 again.
My mum and me get along well...

That and whenever she's stressed I like, always make her laugh again XD.

I CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO RANT ANYMORE.

22 Name: Jen : 2010-08-04 05:58 ID:8UfyNg5S

I usually love my family, and I don't have much to rant about. But I have an older sister and she's called "mimi" by the family and I'm called "mei mei" because that's chinese for younger sister. But my mom always mixes it up! I mean, even though the two are similar it's not that hard to distinguish between your two girls that have a few years between them. Besides that and nagging, I'm find with my fam though.

23 Name: enihpledamira : 2010-08-07 01:20 ID:0RXMoPJf

my mother calls me a freak, and she has these 'paranoid' moments
my father has an alcohol problem and is a narcist
the only thing my brother cares about is his computer
my grandmother hates me because I'm a girl...
Yeah, sometimes I think that I'm going to kill myself if I don't get out of the house

24 Name: enihpledamira : 2010-08-09 02:21 ID:dhTXqIQl
