Community Idea: Opinions? (2)

Sorry if this doesn't work, first time posting a new thread, but I wanted another person's opinion on my idea.
I wanted a community that included the fans. So I created the ferbnessa fanbase, based on Ferb and Vanessa out of Phineas and Ferb. I created a twitter profile and a facebook page, and each week I will post a link to a story about them on fanfiction, and let people vote on how good it is.
What I wanted help with is, is it a good idea? How do I get people interested in it? Any help? :)

While I like "Phineas and Ferb", I am not blind to the fact the fandom has two things going against it. First off, the fandom is still rather small. Second, the target audience for the show is a very young audience. It won't be easy to drum up support for this
