Hmm... I can say that the 'I come to you in pieces' series by... StarkBlack I think it was... was astoundingly well written. I love the fics in that series.

My favourite has to be Vulnerant Onmes, Ultima Necat by Florencia7. It has a pretty much full length novel which takes hours to read and has an extremely engaing storyline. No wonder it has been translated inot other languages!

It actually took me a while to start reading this one, because of the number of chapters (77, which I thought was too much for a fanfic), but it is hands down the best goddamn fic I have ever read. The vocabulary range is not great, but the story itself more than makes up for that. And the main character (Anastasia Xanthis) is so goddamn lovable! It is a AU fic, so it does not follow J.K's plans for the Marauder era (which is when the story is set) but it is a brilliant read and I enjoyed every bit of it.

One of the best Final Fantasy VII fics I have ever had the pleasure of reading. It's an Alternate Universe, but only slightly, and in a very amusing way. 112 long chapters, but very, very worth the time. Characters are in-character, and at one point Yuffie (shooting her mouth off and telling a story just the way she does) refers to Sephiroth as "fruitier than a mixed-berry pie," so the humor scattered throughout is also brilliant.
And Aerith's adoptive mom, Elmyra, kicks butt. No question of it.
Main pairings are CloTi and Zaerith.

Hands down the best Namixas AU I have ever had the honor of reading.
For Naruto: ANBU BRAT and naruto-pwns-kyuubi. The only thing to say bad about it is the obscene amount of time it has been since the last update.
Best one? I'd have to say Sisterly Love for Final Fantasy XIII for it's dark elements yet digs deeper into things like how the characters really feel (well, in the author's mind, anyhow)

The Teen Titans and The Lost Boy series by Lathis and Code Lyoko: A Retelling by GForce 4 are definitely the best fanfics I've read. The Road to Cydonia by Cap'n Chryssalid is another high one on the list. And then there's No Reading by Meinos Kaen. I've read through a lot of fanfics in the past four and a half years and those titles stand out the most to me.
The Marriage Stone, hands down. It's a Harry Potter fanfic, Snape/Harry. Why? All I can say is read it, it has a great story line, it's not OOC and INCREADIBLY written!
Hands Down the best one I have ever read would be "A Walk in the Dark" by GameGirl27. It is a Nightmare Before Christmas and I can read over the story over and over and never get bored. It has perfect grammar, amazing action, is completely spot on with the charectors, has hints of Jack and Sally but isn't overly preachy like some fics can be and is all around the best fic I've ever read.
