OK so who here watches Being Human, ya know the tv show about a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost living in a flat in Bristol? Also if you've started watching the second season discuss it here along with the first.
I've seen the first season; absolutely adored it. Unfortunately I live in Amercia, and we don't get to see them broadcast until like three months after they've aired in the UK D:
...I will say I loved George though. Poor guy needs a hug >///<
Ah unlucky, the first two episodes of the new season are great so hopefully you get to see them soon! And yeah George needs a hug! I volunteer!.
sugarpuff, as a UK resident who has followed tv shows such as Supernatural and Criminal Minds for several years, I would like to say, welcome to my world. The frustration just makes you a better fan. :D
I also second the George-hugging motion, especially after last night's episode...
I've just started following the series, but I'm really enjoying it so far! My friend informed me about it, and now I know what I was missing out on.
I love Being Human. I want to know what happened with the woman who played Annie in the pilot, they changed her between then and season one. Aside from that i love it to bits. Oh and i totally agree with the George hugging, but all the time as opposed to when he's down. He's so cute.
>>6 The person they originally cast got another offer and left. Hope that helps.
I LOVED season 1, but while I do like Season 2 I feel it's not as good. I mean Nina and George who were two of my faves both got a whole lot darker, which in some ways are good since I know TV drama shows can't be too light, but...
And I agree, George is so cute. Though Mitchell does have that bad boy about him :P
I love Being Human, but I think I would prefer to hug Mitchell than George :P
I haven't seen any of the second series yet, but I thought the first series was brilliant! I'm never on the T.V. when the second series is being aired ¬_¬ maybe OD will give me it...
I'm liking Series 2 so far! I love how it is much darker, because in doing so they have sort opened up another facet to the series universe. One of epic proportions.
Yes Being Human is definitely amazing. One of my favorite TV shows right now (along with Heroes though I still need to finish season three ¬_¬)
I actually like the new actress they chose for Annie. It's just my opinion but I think the new one is better. And I have to agree with the hug George motion. He's the huggable one while Mitchell's the one you want to flirt shamelessly with.
The darker turn season two has taken has me very much intrigued as well. I like it when the seasons go slightly different ways instead of keeping to much to the same one as the first. It keeps things interesting.
I wouldn't say I love it (I'm not that good with gore and stuff) but I've watched the first season and I'm still watching this. Some scenes creep me out a bit but that's a great thing about the show and I love the comedy they include occasionally.
P.S - A new character for Annie!? Eh?! They did? I'm really dense...

I know I probably shouldn't talk about season 2 episodes but this isn't really a spoiler. I just laughed my ass off when Mitchell and George got mad because The Real Hustle got moved to Thursday. Mitchell's hissy fit was just amazing!
And George= hug like a doggy ^^ while Mitchell is more 'coffee at my place' he he he.
I loved that. Just how much Mitchell freaked out.
But he lived without the real hustle for a long time before then xD
Mitchell or George? In my opinion, Mitchell. Just because he's more.. I don't know. He has a brilliant smile though.
Completely melts me every time.
But George has that adorable kicked-puppy expression that just makes you go, "Aww, please don't cry! Come here, everything's going to be alright TT_TT"
And when he gets over-emotional and kind of squeaks when he yells? [insert fangirl squeal] Then again, I'm all for the dorky cute guys with a DARK AND TERRIBLE SECRET OF DOOM.
(Mitchell is pretty hot though :x)
George and his squeeky voice annoys me, whereas I love Mitchell's accent. Annie's nice, but bubbly.
wow, love being human... Mitchell is absolutely gorgeous!!
i think i'm actually in love lol
Mitchell's accent wow
George's squeaks wow
Annie's tea making skills err... wow?
How can you like George's squeeks? They irk me immensely! Seth's stupidity, now that I like.
Seth:(After being told Annie was a ghost)Wow, so can you go from one room to another, and move stuff?
I really hope something seriously nasty happens to that bible quoting freak Kemp, he makes my skin crawl worse than the vampires or werewolves.
I love being human!!!
unfortunately I have not yet seen series 1...
but every sunday I eargly await the next series 2 episodes on bbc 3
mitchell rules and Annie is sweet.
sadly i first saw it when george was not nice to Nina,
so I was like ¬¬ at george, but now I think he is awesome
expecially after his swearing attacks last week !!

Love Being Human about to start wacthing the second season on BBC iplayer, my friend introduced me to it about two weeks ago, got the DVD set the next day and had it watched by the end of the week it was so good. I like Mitchell and Annie althought not the fanfics where people put them together but then again there is a really good one. If anyoe whats to read it follow the link to my fanfic proflie and it is the only being human story in my faves.

Mitchell is amazing...then again, vampires are a weakness of mine so it probably explains why.
Annie's great as well. There aren't enough bubbly people in the world and she's so much fun.
George is...hmm, George is George. He's not my favourite and tends to irritate me, but I do like the whole angry George thing they've got going at the moment.
I haven't seen season 1, but I've started searching for it online and found a few places that have the episodes up so I'm catching up.
Can't get on to Being Human anywhere because my iPlayer isn't working! It sucks...
I think the pilot episode was the best, you seriously have to watch it.

Loved the most recent episodes. At one point my friends and I all had a silly moment where we said it's be great if Sykes and Annie ended up together and had ghost babies which then lead on to the debate of whether ghost babies were possible. Yeah, it was stupid conversation lol
I want a ghost baby called Tim...but the whole 'you have to be biologically related' thing. Does that mean Annie is biologically related to the toaster?
lol toaster baby!
Called Tim?
No, called "Steven the Toaster" Blatantly
Oh, ok.
The house! How could they leave the house?!?
Cuz its haunted? :P
...For anyone who's seen the season 2 finale...
WHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!?! That was totally unfair! Why did they do such a horrible thing?! Seriously, they have to bring (spoiler) back!
I know I want (spoiler) back too! It seems pretty pointless without everyone there! (spoiler) better find some way to get back! Oooo but that was a dramatic ending when (spoiler) came back thanks to the two (spoilers).
High five if you did not understand that!
I totally understand that, but I'm moving in anyway high fives DRS
Try and get this: When (spoiler) and (spoiler) were in the room and (spoiler) read what was on the wall and realised it was from (spoiler) I was like 'Oh my god, (spoiler) was there too!'
Oh yeah I was like 'Aaaw poor (spoiler) went through that as well :(' but I never knew (spoiler)'s first name was spoiler. I thought (spoiler) was (spoiler)'s first name. Anyway can't wait for third season.
btw anyone else see the (very small) hints of George/Annie through out the second season? I never thought of that pairing untill season two...
Well see, when Annie (spoilered) Mitchell seemed to be the one more affected, after all he did stop (spoilering) (spoiler) and went to find (spoiler) so he could (spoiler) him/her/it.
I just think of them as really good housemates myself...though I do know about the M/A, G/A and sometimes G/M going around fanfiction :S
I so badly want to see the finale, but my iPlayer doesn't work and mega video is blocked. Eugh...
