- Where Fires Begin: A short, beautifully-crafted postscript to WALL-E. Bring tissues.

- Once More With Feeling: One of the myriad works of Evangelion fanfiction exploring what would happen if Shinji used Third Impact to travel back in time to the beginning of the series. Get past the vast cloud of spelling and grammar issues, and the glacial update schedule (it's unfinished, and likely to remain that way for a while), and you will find one of the most genuinely hilarious, heartwarming pieces on FF.net.

- Evangelion: RE-TAKE: Quite possibly the finest piece of NGE fanfiction yet created, and from the most unlikely source. The original was a hentai doujin (yes, really), and the version I'm linking is a 'clean', family-friendly(ish) version with a few scenes added to the plot - as it turns out, it didn't need that many. It's another time-travel fic (with a twist this time), very well-plotted, and the ending made me sob like a little girl. Can't recommend it highly enough.

This actually made me cry. I'm not one for that kind of thing, but the emotion and the writing of this author was amazing. He's quite experienced, and he got the characters just right. I actually felt as though I were in the position of that character as she feared herself to be the very evil she sought to destroy. Star Wars fictions are usually pretty good, but this goes beyond anything George Lucas ever created.

This story really made me cry, like full blown tears. It is a Chronicles of Narnia story called Untamed, written by Ac Collins. It's a bit lengthy but extremely worth it.
This story even though it starts out like most fanfictions like it, had me in tears several times throughout it.

This NCIS one-shot brought tears to my eyes, and let me tell you, that's no easy task. It ten moments between the end of Hiatus and Shalom that show the team struggling to put them selves back together after Gibbs left and Tony's metamorphisms into a leaded.
