I was just wondering, if as a writer, artist or reader/admirer of fanworks and you were suddenly forced to decided one series of programs, film and book and everything, that you could write/read/draw/watch. What would you choose an why.
Mine as you have seen mention elsewhere on the board would be the comic series know as W.I.T.C.H.
It is the only series I can get into really writing, i love the original comic and seeing other peoples interpritation of the comic.
So if you had which fandom would you choose?
that's really easy for me!
I would choose the only fandom I write and read already, SAILOR MOON
and if i have to choose more specifically into sailor moon them I would choose Haruka & Michiru fandom without second thought ;)
why?
because I am obsessed with them and nothing can change that ;)
Doctor Who, no contest. :D
Reason is probably because of all the opportunities to write Doctor/Master slash. XD
Harry Potter - it's the only fandom I feel I know enough about to even begin to think of ideas and stuff.
I've never been obsessive over a tv program before or anything so yeah - wouldn't know enough about them..
Harry potter would have to be the first i think of. i know pretty much all there is to know about the series and characters plus ive read so many now i couldnt say no :)
Also i would be able to put Draco and Harry together whenever i wanted xD
FFXII, no contest. It's the only fandom I can write for, and really the only fandom I read.
Well at the moment I only write for Yu-Gi-Oh! But I read a lot of other things, I'd be happy if I could just read Yu-Gi-Oh but a it gutted too since I love to read a lot of other things <3
Am I allowed to pick the entirety of Final Fantasy? >.> Every game, the movies, the anime series etc...
If not... then just give me the FF7 compilation. <3 That is where I am most active.
Zelda
South Park has been overcome with pure shit and I only dabble in other fandoms
>>9 Zelda is amazing. Full stop.
But if I had to choose one fandom, I would probably choose Bleach. I just love that series so much.
I write for Yu-Gi-Oh, read Yu-Gi-Oh and sometimes Zelda.
I'd probably read more Zelda if ZxL didn't clog up all the pages. waves MidnaxLink flag
Dragonball Z was the first, then I moved onto Lord of the Rings, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Danny Phantom, Avatar: The Last Airbender, THe Lost World and a few others I can't name right off the bat.
Maximum Ride is the only fandom I write for at the moment.
I used to write Twilight, though, and I've read some amazing slash fics recently... it's a toughie.
Well all my fics so far are Sonic ones so Sonic.
But thats only for writing, its too hard to pick between Sonic and Doctor Who.
Oh hell, I forgot Dr. Who. I hope I never have to face this choice.
Bleach for sure.
Stargate Atlantis or Stargate SG1. Atlantis has more characters that can be fleshed out as wanted, so probably Atlantis.

I think mind would have to be something very universe rich, since I prefer playing with OCs anyway. Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter or Final Fantasy I should think. Note that I'd make the choice lightly.
Ooo Tough one but One Piece ZoroxSanji are the best yaoi couple :D
Street Fighter.
M. Bison (Dictator)x Vega (Claw)
I personally have loved them since seeing their chemistry in the comics and their win quotes to eachother on Street Fighter 4 just scream sexual tension XD
really if it came to it i would have to choose harry potter because there are so many pairings to play with both canon n noncanon though i av to say i make this choice with a gun to my head.
Resident Evil!
Theres just soooooooo much that can be written about as theyve left some big holes to cover in the series.
Harry Potter, it's the only thing I write for so it's an easy choice for me.
HP, Naruto and to a lesser extent, Overlord and Death Note.
The first two because a helluva lot of their respective universes are open to both debate and opinion - for example: How do summons work?; Why use wands as magical focii instead of runes or staves?
The third because Overlord gave us the most comedic horde game ever, with an in-depth system for weaponry and a good backstory. Minions work wonders as slave creatures too.
Lastly, Death Note offers a lot of genius level mental combat. In a way, the entire series is a giant chess game - most of the brilliant decisions end up upsetting the other "side's" gameplans, such as L's move to negate Light/ Kira from doing anything when he tells the taskforce that if he dies, Light = Kira. Or similarly, Light forcing Rem's hand to kill both L and Watari.
Never considered how hard a question that is to answer until now xD But I'd have to say D.Gray-Man... or KHR. Both have so many pairings to choose from (though mostly of the slash variety, which suits me just fine), and the canon world is fun to play around with. Plus, the characters are pure love in DGM.
Supernatural ,Twilight and other stoires in development
Twilight and Harry Potter are my main writinh fandoms, seeing they were the main series i got addicted to and my mind was constantly thinking up alternatives and guessing what was nexts as i progressed through the books.
Death Note
The Total war series (videogame, you can do anything with it!), Left 4 dead, Team Fortress 2. currently writing a TW thing, not done the other two D;
