OK so we've got one's for favourite pairings but what about one's you don't like, oh and I'd quite like it if you justify why you don't like it. And I will allow swearing here because sometimes when you vent you feel the need to swear. Here are mine.
Ichihime - I can stand Orihime as long as she is not taling/thinking/fangirling over Ichigo. I swear to god I can't stand the Kurosaki-kun when I hear it in the anime. Maybe it's just how squeeky her voice is when she says it. Also she only sees Ichigo as knight-in-shining armour, oh look how sweet and adorable he is, when he is the exact oppisite! At least most of the time. She needs a caring guy like Ishida to be gentle with her, not Ichigo who always scowls and constantly shouts.
Bella/Edward - OH MY GOD IT'S FRICKIN ANNOYING! All we hear about in the book is 'Oh Edward is so amazing and super hot and he's so rock hard and he's just amazing and he's always looking out for me' NO HE ISN'T! He constantly pushes her away even when she wants to help, personally I'd be pissed off with my boyfriend kept making me look like a fucking charity case. He leaves her IN THE MIDDLE OF A FUCKING FORREST! Lost with no one to help her, oh yeah Edward you ARE so kind! He tries to kill himself without checking if she is actually dead, and so doesn't take into acount how broken she would be to find out he killed himself over her. He takes the engine out of her truck just so she can't visit Jacob who is only a friend to her and she has proven that to him again and again! Oh and he makes her BEG him for sex! And don't get me started on how dependent she is on him and only him! Great model of the guy teenage girls should be with Meyers!
Jacob/Renesmee - There's a word for guys who are in love with little kids and I'm hoping to god Jake is SERIOUSLY not in love with the born-with-teeth abomanation. Also Meyers kind of went against her whole Werewolf/Vampire hate thing by making Jake fall in love with someone who has VAMPIRE heritage.
Harry/Ginny - I wasn't much of a fan of Harry Potter but it still pissed me off so much when this pairing became canon. Am I seriously the only one who thought it should've been Harry/Hermione and then Ron and Ginny just end up lonely or find someone else in the future. People have got to learn that not everyone of the main characters has to be paired off in the end.
Link/Ruto - How exactly would that relationship work out? I'm pretty sure fish and humans have many biological differences. And Ruto is just a cranky little fangirl and their's no real build up of their relationgship. At least Link/Saria has some hints of proof.
Berethor/Morwen - Anyone played LOTR: The Third Age? Anyone think Berethor/Idrial would happen at the end seeing as they had kissed and Idrial showed signs of jealousy when Berethor met Morwen for the first time. Well your hopes were shattered because apparently Berethor and Morwen were arranged to be married (and they didn't actually meet during the planning of it all) before he lost his memories and when he finds that out he's suddenly in love with her. And do you know the reason why they couldn't make it Idrial? Because she's an elf -_- Hate to break it to you EA but it DOES work out in the LOTR universe because there's a rather big thing called Aragon/Arwen! Seriously have none of the people there read The books? I'm 12 and I've read the fricking books! Not even seen the movie I bet.

To me, writing pairings is about taking pre-characterized people and being able to successfully pair them with a person without manipulating or bastardizing their character into a complete abomination.
That being said, I also don't like most mainstream canon pairings. Because it is just too easy.

Harry Potter canon pairings:
Ron's ability to impersonate Harry's parseltongue, Ginny's magical ability to do everything to impress Harry, Tonks suddenly wanting to go after someone twice her age at least...
JKR, You can write a great universe, but please, leave the romantic pairings for someone else to write. Then they might seem plausible.
Naruto/Sakura -
Kishimoto effectively shot it down, stamped on it and showed it the door, yet people still think 'Maybe it has a chance'.
It never did. Deal with it.
Pairings that are just there to pair off everyone -
Hinata suddenly drops her love for Naruto to screw Kiba, Neville or Ron go after Luna just since Hermione was taken by Harry, Sasuke and Ino works out perfectly just since Naruto, shockingly, actually found love with Sakura.
Look, I've seen this in canon and fanon, and I HATE it, I absolutely LOATHE it...
And most of the people on this board are guilty of it.
I would like for any author who can say, without a doubt, they do not pair someone off since they're going to be single please ask themselves...

Now, having said that, I WILL read Sasuke x ANYONE fanfiction, but it's because the writers who love him so much generally turn out fanfiction that is more than readable. And to me, good fanfiction is good fanfiction whether someone threw Sasuke together with someone else in it or not.
Neji x ANYTHING WITH BOOBS because, for my money, it defies the laws of Nature. Neji is yaoi incarnate (and SEME).

I really really don't get this pairing. Dawn is nice and sweet but a rip-off of May who wears a mini-skirt to travel. And Paul, don'tget me started on him, he's an arrogant bastard who constantly abuses Ash verbally and is unbearably cruel to his pokémon. Why do people want this guy in a fic to give him a happy ending? Why not just kill him off? That would do the world the power of good.
This ship is the reason I refuse to let Paul appear in this story.

Cant stand Harry Draco, and Harry and Hermione wouldnt have worked together and you know it. On that note, i do hate the ship "Ron/Hermione"... Simply because they dont work together. But i do love it in fanfics, because generally writers actually write the stories well, and they make sense, and Harry isnt always a complete jackass.
I HATE people who watch Heroes and "Paire" up (Forgive the pun) Peter and Claire. And The sheer amount of Incest pairings in that show, jesus... PeterNathan? WHY?! I've seen Nathan/Claire fics! NO! And Sylar/Maya annoys me, because Sylar shouldnt have to spend his incredibly valuable time with a incompetant woman who is totally retarded. Grr.
Oh my god I am so with you, OrihimeXIchigo is just no! In my mind its always seemed that RukiaXIchigo was set up from the first. They're together in almost every opening/ending sequence, they're usually the only ones focused on in the films and they're usually the most prominent in the filler arcs too. It seems that the OrihimeXIchigo has just been thrown in for the Arrancar arc. I know Orihime's had a crush on Ichigo since the beginning, but there's never been any evidence to show he felt the same way, even in the Hueco Mundo arc Ichigo was on his way to save Rukia until he ran into Ulquiorra.

I just find it soooo hard to find many good written fanfiction where Naruto is the uke, it just destroys his character. Nobody seems to be able to write a story where Naruto stays in character when he's not seme. He's just made to be so whiney and begging and feminine - he's not feminine! Where does anyone get that from!!! And I hate this even more because I'm guilty of it! Oh me...it's like with the NaruHina thing...I have to make the mistake to see the mistake. Love NaruSasu though - it works cause Sasuke's already a total bitch.

I don't know why but I really don't like Duo/Heero pairing in Gundam. I just really don't like Duo and Heero together, because I can't take in the fact that they'd make a good couple, cause really. I don't believe that. Than again, it's just my opinion.

Wow, this whole thread scares me a little. It´s like all those flamers out there, people who read stories with obvious pairing that they don´t like just to flame it. This is fan-fiction. You are supposed to be able to write what you want. I don´t think there are supposed to be any boundaries except for those that you put for yourself.
I am not saying that you are not all entitled to your opinion or that you are not entitled to express your opinion. I am just saying that you shouldn´t judge other people who happen to like the pairing!!

I'm all for the idea of putting two opposites together and I'm pretty open minded about all pairings. It depends on how well the story is written.
Sometimes you can get pleasantly surprised by them. I wasn't buying into the idea of a Draco/Hermione fiction until I read the works of one author and had to admit it was bloody good, and probably better than Ron/Hermione.
Likewise, I would never think of Harry/Luna but it could well happen and could make a far more interesting story than the typical Harry/Ginny.
But yeah, I wouldn't think I MUST write the pairing that is published! It is fan-fiction, write what you want. :)

GSR and YoBling! for the win. Grissom and Sara, IMO, are meant to be, and Catherine and Warrick were so good together, until, of course, the writers decided that killing him off would be an 'interesting way' to write him out of the show =P
Oh, and for some reason, I HATE it when people cross Twilight over with anything!! For example, one Twilight/CSI fic that was Greg/Bella! I don't mind crossovers, but CSi and Twilight have virtually nothing in common, so why cross them over?

I hate IchiHime... Grrr. She should just get over him already and fawn over someone else, like Ishida. Now THERE, ladies and gentlemen, is a good pairing. Orihime isn't suited to him at all - it may be sweet that she likes him, but I can't be expected to put up with the whole "Kurosaki-kun!" thing she has going on. She said it SIXTEEN times in one episode, all in quick succession. Then said nothing else.
Orihime is a nice girl, but when she's swooning over Ichigo, I can't help but want to hit her over the head with my shoe and shout "Get over it!"

I see loads of people are going ape-crazy over the twilight paring, Edward/Bella. I really don't like that pairing too. Bella has such a vapid personality, and she is there purely so teenage girls can put themselves in her place. She has no spark or anything; even in the FILMS, she is so nearly speaking in monoton! MONOTONE! It's ridiculous how little personality she possesses, so what does that creeper/vampire, Edward, see in her?
Gambit/Rogue. They're both strong, fun, competent individuals, but whenever they're together (or breaking up, or wishing that they're together, or in any way romantically interacting), they turn into useless wangstmachines. This pairing <i>shouldn't</i> require character derailment, but yet it almost always does.
And please note that I'm only talking comicverse here; Evo! and Movie!Rogue are pretty much wangstmachines anyhow, so while I'm not <i>surprised</i> when getting a boyfriend makes them especially annoying, I don't read stuff about them for the same reason.
Anakin and Padme. Oy. I've noticed that there's a lot of trope-dropping on this site, and it bears mentioning again that on TVtropes.org, 'George Lucas Love Story' is not a compliment. Guess why. Go on, guess. After watching the Phantom Menace, I kept thinking to myself (as an atheist, mind you), 'Please, God, tell me they're not going to pair up the prepubescent kid and the runaway queen with the weird makeup'.
And then they did, and it was five times as cringeworthy as I had predicted. Genius, George. Utter freakin' genius.

I have a problem with enemy->lover pairings sometimes... they're so... ugh.
I like angst, but for a pairing to work and last believably, there HAS to be genuine affection in it.
The only cases where and enemy->lover pairing works for me is when it's just a passing fling they get over, or inbetween the lovers step they become FRIENDS or GOOD ALLIES. They have to have a common cause and have great affection and care for one another. Their friendship or team-up to be the 'destiny' and needed in the story and their romantical attachment coming later as it were
I dislike 'love at first sight' usually. I can have 'crush which develops into love' granted (it's why while I disliked kataang whe n I first saw it... it grew on me in Book 2 in Avatar: TLA).

To all the Jacob/Renesmee haters, have you looked at the ages of Nessie when it comes to Jacob and her falling in love? 9/10 times she is full grown or close to it. Its like Sam and Emily, if she was only 10 when they met and he was 23 he would wait till she was as old as he looked and they would start from there.
But for my pairing I have to say the creepiest one I ever saw was Bella/Carlisle. Ewwww, they are like father and daughter, not boyfriend and girlfriend. I will admit fanfiction is exactly what it says on the tin but it makes no sense for them to be together.

Re: Jacob/Renesmee, note that there is some difference between one's relationship with a perfect-older-brother type, and with a perfect-older-brother type who one is implicitly and/or explicitly expected to eventually hop into bed with.
Also note that everyone's favourite creepy vampire-kiddie is expected to reach physical, mental, and emotional maturity at age seven. That leaves little time to ensure a smooth transition in her view on Jacob from 'older brother' to 'love interest', so they'd have to start the grooming very early indeed.

I've noticed a few anti-Ichihime comments and I couldn't help but say something. If, like the first person to comment, you are looking for someone caring for Orihime to be with, don't look at Ishida, 'cause he isn't caring, look at Ichigo. He is perhaps the most caring person in the entire series, if you don't believe me, watch the entire series again because you obviously missed something huge. Ichigo throws his himself in line of danger over and over again to save his friends, Ishida only thinks for himself. It's only by meeting Ichigo did Ishida begin to care about anything other than himself; proving that Ichigo is inferior to him. He changed from that day on, but he was still selfish. SPOILERS If you read the manga like me, you would know Ichigo dies twice and comes back from the dead as a hollow, all to save Orihime. END OF SPOILER End of rant.

Grimmhime - He'd sooner kill her than do anything for her.
Ulquihime - Ulquiorra has no emotions and Orihime doesn't like him, at all.
Ichiruki - Aside from their notable age gap and the fact that they are like brother and sister, Rukia should be with Renji, if you paid attention during the anime, you would know why.
ALL GAY PAIRINGS!!! AND ANY THAT INVOLVE THE HERO OF THE STORY WITH HIS ENEMY!!! And that's about it.

As I said before, she is a nice enough girl, but it annoys me to no end when she fawns over him to the extent that I don't find it cute any more.
I still favour the IchiRuki pairing, although you make some valid points, like the brother and sister comment (even if I don't agree with the age difference thing). I quite like the RenRuki pairing too, and I can't really decide between the two. They each have their moments.

MasayaXIchigo (Tokyo mew mew) - Masaya is just too perfect, completely unrealistic (who waits 2 HOURS for someone who probably isn't coming -even though she does- in the rain?) Plus there's the environmental obsession ("this hankie is made of recycled fibres!") and he just doesn't seem to have a very good sense of humour.
TadaseXAmu (Shugo Chara!) - Tadase is shallooow, going on about Amulet Heart for the first half of the anime, when Amu's normal self is like the exact opposite. He's okay but he can be kind of annoying.
HaruhiXHuni-senpai (Ouran High School Host Club) it's not gonna happen. full stop.
YuukiXKaname (Vampire Knight) - I've never liked Kaname with Yuuki and then you find out they're siblings.
UtauXIkuto (Shugo Chara) - They look good together but Utau's obsessive and Ikuto's not interested. Plus there's the whole siblings thing once again.
IkutoXYaya/Rima/etc. (Shugo chara) - Crack pairings can be funny and I like reading them but... not to be taken seriously :D

I think people have said basically all the pairings that I hate. There are times when they can be done well but the majority of the time it's just wrong.
Has anyone else noticed that in the Harry Potter section people just think up pairings just to have a new one? There is so many stories there that sometimes a new pairing comes in just for there to be something new. You could just randomly pick two characters and put them in the character box and there will probably be a story about them ‘together’ no matter what gender, race or age they are. Believe me, I tried this just to see if it was true…the experience was horrifying.
A few examples of this is, Harry/Percy, Harry/Dobby, Dumbledore/Lucius and my sister said she even saw a Harry/Giant Squid one once.
Really. This stuff is out there. Anyway, sometimes it can be funny, but when your trying to find a nice, well planned out story to read these ‘just for fun’ pairings can get a little irritating. If a paring is well written with both, the both is very important, characters in character, then the story can be amazing.
Harry/Draco is a example of a pairing that can go really, really wrong. People never seem to get the characters right, one of them is always the ‘girl’ substitute that needs to be protected by the other one (this is true for most slash actually). For gods sake, this doesn’t happen in relationships, I should know, as I am a girl. If some guy tried to tell me that I needed protection…well, I’d break their nose as I told them never to come near me again. Now, I have seen stories where this pairing has been done well, so I don’t hate it, as such. Still, I get incredibly irritated when they authors can’t keep anyone in character.

I generally think that any pairing can be good if written well but there is one pairing i can't stand. Ron and Hermione, i know they're canon but they just don't go together! Hermione is portrayed as this intelligent and mature witch, who loves reading and abhors Quiditch. On the other hand Ron is immature, reckless and loves Quiditch, they just don't fit.
Ron makes Hermione laugh. She amazes him. She admires his ability to cut himself off from work, and his opinion matters greatly to her. He admires her drive, focus, and kindness/bravery. She's the person he respects most. She's inclined to mother him a bit and find his faults endearing- or give him a good kick up the backside when he needs it. They have a strong tie from the events they've come through together. Really, although it's not a pairing I write, I find the level of Ron/Hermione hate on this board mystifying.
Anything involving Twincest... This Squicks me so bad... Probably because Twins run in my Family. Both sides of my family (My aunt on my moms side is a Twin, Dad is a Twin. I'm a Twin... Technicly) So whenever someone Slashes a Character with their TWIN then I just get the WORST Mental Images -_-;;
Omg I hate Ichigo x Orihime. She's so needy. He needs someone like Rukia otherwise he'll get bored. Rukia puts up a fight. :D

I consider myself pretty easy going with pairings; hetero, yaoi, yuri and crack. I don't mind heros with their enemies either. What I think is important is how well it is written; sometimes the strangest pairings can work out well or at least interesting. Weirdest one to date was a death note fic that had L and...Rem (!) But the author did it quite well (she was doing it as a crack peice.) Can't say I support the pairing but it was interesting.

Bella/Edward. Don't so much hate them, but i hate how pathetic he makes her, when before he came along she was intelligent, dependend and headstrong, albeit, still boring. I prefer Bella and Jacob, because although i dont like twilight much anyway, at least Jacob has a sense of humor and a personality (something which edward lacks) and at least he actually got to know bella before the two fell in love, as opposed to bella and edward just randomly dating and then claiming to be "unable to live without each other"

I personally hate quite a few pairings, but what I hate more than disliked people being in a loathsome coitus is when people don't label their summaries/stories correctly.
Some hate yaoi/yuri, label it!
Some, on the opposite end, hate het!
(And withing yaoi/yuri it's misleading there too!)
Oh, and my favorite: When someone labels their genre as general and there is romance. Gag me...
this one's hard for me, i don't usually look past my OTP's. if the pairing isn't marked, i just stop when it's not who i thought it'd be. but here's the one's i really hate:
Ryou Bakura/Yami Marik -i can't remember the ship name. they never even meet in canon. oh, and Yami Marik is nothing more than Malik's split personality! he's not another person or soul of an ancient person. sure the possessed jewelry and egyptian souls changes things in the YGO fandom, but that's just so wrong.
Harry/Ginny - this made absolutely no sense. she has a crush in year 2 that's all. Ginny's barely if at all mentioned in the next 3 books. Harry repeatedly refers to the Weasleys as family. then he's suddenly jealous cuz she goes out with the other guys in his dorm. WHAT?!? i liked the little Harry/Luna moments, but i agree with DarthRevanShepard it should have ended with only one pairing. Rowling was always going on about how amazed she was at the fandom, you think she would have left a more open ending.
Naru/Sasu - how in the hell does wanting to bash each others brains in equal true love? okay, i'm exaggerating a bit, but why do people have to corrupt a good rivalry? this pairing alone is the whole reason i stopped being a narutard.
It's usually the canon pairings that annoy me the most, to be fair.
Harry/Ginny, Bella/Edward and Jacob/Renesmee are just too annoying for words.
Otherwise I'm not too bothered, if I don't like a pairing I tend to stay clear of it. The only two that really rub me up the wrong way are:
Draco/Herminone - This would never, EVER happen. They are just too different. I'm all for opposites attracting and all, but neitehr have any qualities that would attract the other. Especially considering that Draco is a Malfoy and Hermione is muggle born. It just wouldn't work.
Harry/Snape - Gross or what? I have no problem with pairing Harry with another guy. Draco/Harry and Harry/Ron and whatever else is fine... but Snape, seriously? He hates Harry. Even if he protected him for Lilly's sake, the fact is he hated the kid. He loved Lily, not Lily's son. Even if he didn't hate him, it still woudn't be right. Not to me.
Edward/Alice - I mean INCEST MUCH?!?!?! Seriously, it's just kinda groos bordering on creepy. They are BROTHER and SISTER and my mind just refuses to see them any other way.
Jacob/Renesmee - Apart from the fact that Renesmee is the dumbest name ever (no offence to anyone who likes the name - it's just my opinion!), only 1 word is needed...PEODOPHILE!!! And the fact that Jacob was crazy about Renesmee's mother which just makes it MORE gross!!

One I forgot to mention, and yes - I have actually seen this written, is Jacob/Edward. I mean, really? There's the whole mortal enemies by nature thing, and then the fact that they're both in love with the same girl... and then the fact that Jacob is in love with Edward's daughter.
Also, although it doesn't say it in the book, I suspect that Edward would be highly repulsed at the idea of liking another man; being the good Christian vampyre that he is.
I have nothing against enemies eventually falling in love, as long as there's a decent, believable plot leading up to it. But Jacob/Edward would just never, ever happen.

I only truly like canon pairings.
AS REGARDING NESSIE/JACOB:
Imprinting is very different from falling in love. He feels a strong attachment to Ness, she is the centre of his universe. He would do anything for her. He is not in Love, yet, He loves he like a sister, right now, only the relationship is too strong for that a normal brother/sister relationship.He is not being a paedophile. Originally he went to Nessie to kill her, not imprint. The only weird thing is that it's mother and daughter... Here is Jake's POV of imprinting:
I felt empty again, now that I’d lost my purpose. Saving Bella had been my fight for so long now. And she wouldn’t be saved. She’d willingly sacrificed herself to be torn apart by that monster’s young, and so the fight was lost. It was all over.

Strength and hate and heat—red heat washing through my head, burning but erasing nothing. The images in my head were fuel, building up the inferno but refusing to be consumed. I felt the tremors rock me from head to toe, and I did not try to stop them.
Rosalie was totally absorbed in the creature, paying no attention to me at all. She wouldn’t be quick enough to stop me, distracted as she was.
Sam had been right. The thing was an aberration—its existence went against nature. A black, soulless demon. Something that had no right to be.
Something that had to be destroyed.
It seemed like the pull had not been leading to the door after all. I could feel it now, encouraging me, tugging me forward. Pushing me to finish this, to cleanse the world of this abomination.
Rosalie would try to kill me when the creature was dead, and I would fight back. I wasn’t sure if I would have time to finish her before the others came to help.
Maybe, maybe not. I didn’t much care either way.
I didn’t care if the wolves, either set, avenged me or called the Cullens’ justice fair. None of that mattered. All I cared about was my own justice. My revenge.

If Bella’d survived, she would have hated me for this. She would have wanted to kill me personally.
But I didn’t care. She didn’t care what she had done to me—letting herself be slaughtered like an animal. Why should I take her feelings into account?
And then there was Edward. He must be too busy now—too far gone in his insane denial, trying to reanimate a corpse—to listen to my plans.
So I wouldn’t get the chance to keep my promise to him, unless—and it was not a wager I’d put money on—I managed to win the fight against Rosalie, Jasper, and Alice, three on one. But even if I did win, I didn’t think I had it in me to kill
Edward.
Because I didn’t have enough compassion for that. Why should I let him get away from what he’d done? Wouldn’t it be more fair—more satisfying—to let him live with nothing, nothing at all?
It made me almost smile, as filled with hate as I was, to imagine it. No Bella. No killer spawn. And also missing as many members of his family as I was able to take down. Of course, he could probably put those back together, since I wouldn’t
be around to burn them. Unlike Bella, who would never be whole again.
I wondered if the creature could be put back together. I doubted it. It was part Bella, too—so it must have inherited some of her vulnerability. I could hear that in the tiny, thrumming beat of its heart.
Its heart was beating. Hers wasn’t.
Only a second had passed as I made these easy decisions.
The trembling was getting tighter and faster. I coiled myself, preparing to spring at the blond vampire and rip the murderous thing from her arms with my teeth.
Rosalie cooed at the creature again, setting the empty metal bottle-thing aside and lifting the creature into the air to nuzzle her face against its cheek.
Perfect. The new position was perfect for my strike. I leaned forward and felt the heat begin to change me while the pull toward the killer grew—it was stronger than I’d ever felt it before, so strong it reminded me of an Alpha’s command, like
it would crush me if I didn’t obey.
This time I wanted to obey.
The murderer stared past Rosalie’s shoulder at me, its gaze more focused than any newborn creature’s gaze should be.
Warm brown eyes, the color of milk chocolate—the exact same color that Bella’s had been.
My shaking jerked to a stop; heat flooded through me, stronger than before, but it was a new kind of heat—not a burning.
It was a glowing.

One that occasionally bursts into purple prose-ridden speech, yes, but these speeches completely contrast with his character (a character we are told, not shown, I hasten to add, as most of your characters speak in a way that does not distinguish them from each other, despite vastly different upbringings). Getting back on topic, I would like to say something about the anime and manga 'Yu-gi-oh!'. In it, there are several characters who, in the original universe will NEVER MEET. EVER. The story is set in modern times, but there are some people mentioned who live in Ancient Egypt, over 3000 years before. Also, there are people who share a body. They are not brothers, they are not in a relationship, they actually SHARE the body. This means that no, they cannot go out together, they will not meet at school, and they definately cannot star in lemons. Please people, have a little sense. That is all.

Bah, whilst I'm hugely fond of Sasusaku, I honestly don't see how it could ever happen in the series. A pairing I do hate is Narusaku. Words cannot explain my hatred for it. I don't even know WHY I hate it so much! I also hate Zutara (mostly because of the smug fangirls), BellaxEdward (mostly because he should have at least tried to eat her. It never felt believable that he was a danger to her, so it was just annoying whenever he started moaning about how he had 'the skin of a killer'), HarryHermione really annoys me. Its because of the people who have only ever watched the films with their little 'hints' of HarryHerm that never even happened, who tell me there's tons of evidence to support the couple. There isn't. I hate HarryGinny, particuarly because of how they were shoved together in the most recent film.
Reading Naruto became a chore.
The female characters that are strong and dignified (i.e. Temari and Tenten) are hardly in the series, barely speak and never act outside of the boys they associate with.
The most pweful female is Tsunade, yet she still is weak when compared to Jiraiya, or even Naruto. She turns into a blubbering mess when faced with blood (despite being a ninja and a nurse >.>) and has massive fan service breasts to make up for her scant 'female empowerment.'
Then I think Hinata is meant to be cute and sweet and relatable when she is boring, two dimensional and unrealistic. Sakura never had a chance in the series. She has little to no development, regardless of the ' I wish to get stronger' mantra.

Morgana/Alvarr.
Morgana falls for him in a matter of seconds and he's a cheat! Okay, Merlin fell for Freya quickly to but she was just a beast killing everybody and Merlin didn't decide to go evil like Morgana did!
Arthur/Morgana.
They're not so bad but they're more like brother and sister so it seems wrong for them to be lovers. I fell in love with Merlin when series 2 started (I did see Merlin in series 1 but it was because I was over at dad's and he watched it) and so when I looked back I was like eww. The first episode seeing as you just met them was alright but as the series got on you saw the siblings relationship and you expected them to be in love? No!
Merlin/Gwen.
They're alright but they are too sweet and plus Gwen doesn't really understand Merlin. She's been brought up thinking magic is evil and the Afanc and Tauren strengthens those views (yes, I got that from the complete guide but it proves my point). Gwen/Arthur's better as Gwen can pull Arthur down from being a prat while Gwen and Merlin....even if the series did try and made them proper lovers instead of crushes I think they would've gone stale.
Merlin/Nimueh
Okay, onesided is okay when Nimueh is obsessed with Merlin but both ways, AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! In the lengend they are actullay suppose to be lovers. I hate it as well Nimueh doesn't look like she loves anyone she more obsess type (have you seen her smirk? O-B-S-E-S-S. And if Merlin loved her back? God, I would quit watching. I hated it when Merlin crushed on Kara aka Nimueh in disuise; Merlin she's gonna kill you! Yeah,and plus I don't think Merlin would be on the good side if he fell in love with her, she would never go back to the good side.

Okay, they aren't to bad but it's total serious between them. Edward's alright as an guardian angel but Bella hardly gets any fun like she does with Jacob. While Edward and Bella have to be lovers non stop, Bella and Jacob can go around as best friends as well as lovers. And Jacob has a little more of a personailty. Edward's cool but if Stephiane Meyer wrote the books again, I would like her to put Bella/Jacob together.

I don't hate pairings, but strongly dislike them. These are the ones that fall under stronly dislike pairings. If they don't mesh with yours, please don't take offense. I don't feel like participating in a shipping war!
BTVS:
Buffy/Angel- I like Angel. I can stand Buffy. Put them together and you get the angst fest to end all angst fests. It's like all personality is drained from them (especially Angel) when they're dating. Not to mention, it ALWAYS stays angsty teenage love- in season three is SHOULD have evolved into something deeper with all the crap that had happened before, but it stayed the exact same, but with more angst. Not to mention Angel first 'fell in love with her heart' when he saw her sitting on the steps in a little girl outfit sucking on a lolipop. That pretty much ruined the relationship for me.
Buffy/Riley- They're boring. He has issues with a girlfriend who is stronger than him and cheats on her with vamp whores. Then gives an ultimatium of make me the most important person in your life or I'm leaving. Then comes back with a Mary Sue wife...and Buffy still feels responsible
Buffy/Xander- Probably because I don't like Xander, but it should stay brother/sister. As should Xander/Willow.
Willow/Kennedy- Even if you put aside the fact that it is very possible that Kennedy is under age, she's annoying, bossy and clearly power hungry. When she does become a likeable character (in the comics, which suck), Willow cheats on her with some sort of snake woman thing.
Buffy/ Satsu- This is another comic thing. Let's face it- If Buffy was going to sleep with a woman, it would probably be Faith (they had that potential vibe going season three). Seconldy, it is quite possible that Satsu is underage, not to mention she is directly under Buffy's command. Not to mention she is in love with Buffy. So Buffy sleeping with her, then promoting her, shipping her off to Japan, ingoring her sending someone else to tell her that Buffy is not interested, is wrong. Frankly, Satsu deserves better.
Spike/Dawn- They have the brother/sister vibe. Not tot mention she's all of 14-16 in the series.
Conner/Cordy- Ewww!!!! The only excuse was that she was posessed.

ALL slash pairings. God, where do I start? Why is it that certain people always, ALWAYS go immediately for the completely impossible gay pairings? Most of the time they're not even plausible. How does hatred symbolize love? For instance: Harry/Draco. They hate each other's guts, but by the end of the story they do respect each other. I ask you, how is this romantic in the slightest?! It's pretty obvious that Harry is madly in love with Ginny; why is that so hard to accept? Same thing for Harry/Snape, even more so, even. Both are confirmed as loving a girl: Harry with Ginny, Snape with Lily. SNAPE GAVE HIS LIFE TO PROTECT LILY'S SON. HIS PATRONUS IS A DOE. How does this make Harry and Snape gay? Moving on to another pairing that boils my blood: Inuyasha/Sesshoumaru. They're BROTHERS. Inuyasha loves Kikyo, and later Kagome, but never Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru had more interest in Kagura, even though that was never romantic and I don't consider it a pairing. Another one: Naruto/Sasuke. They're best friends and rivals, that must make them gay. Fucking no! Naruto loves Sakura, that has been established quite clearly. Heero/Zechs. Are you mad?! How can you even think about that? Heero has definite feelings for Relena, and I seriously doubt he'd fall for his rival. Always with the rivalry. Listen carefully: Hatred does not equal love. When you try to impale someone on a sword, or blast him with a gatling gun or magic or whatever, that is NOT a Freudian analogue for 'please pound your man-meat into my ass'. Seriously, what the fuck? What kind of diseased reasoning leads to these abominations? Well, it could still be worse. You know how? I'll tell you:
FURRIES. Any pairing involving furries is horrible. I know Renamon is a victim of furry-fics, but you'll understand I've never read material containing it. (FOr those deciding that this implies that I HAVE read slash fics, you're wrong. Sadly, though, I can't get around the gay pairings anymore.)
Back onto the slashfic bashing: Yuri and Flynn? Really? These guys are best friends but not homosexual lovers. Really, learn the fucking difference. Seriously, I just can't get over this. Why is it that certain people always, invariably create gay pairings where there obviously are none? Can someone explain the appeal to me? (DISCLAIMER: I'm not bashing individuals in this rant. I'm bashing the mindset they entertain because it makes absolutely no sense.)

in anime world the word "sexuality" do not exist and most of the characters in ALL anime show some homosexual tendencies at some point in the story, and there are always homosexual pairings.
So everything is possible as long as it is written properly and not like: "Hey friend/rival lets fuck each other!" and they rolled on the bed fucking each other.
I'm a writer and reader of a CANON Yuri couple, there are few fictionists who tend to make one of the two a completely straight woman, there are stories with tha little detail that make my want to punch my screen and there are other stories who develop the character through various relationships and make it believable that this homosexual woman is bisexual.
It is the way it is written not the actual pairing.
as for WHY writers like slash, it is probably because most of the writers are females and also the lack of homosexuality in regular media makes a need on the writers to make up for gays :)
@Niori - If a slash pairing is canon then you can be almost certain I have not and will not watch the material that contains it. I got halfway through X TV before realizing the yaoi in it, and I immediately stopped watching.
I have nothing against gay people, but I don't want anything to do with slashfics. I just think that relationships should be between male and female, man and woman, boy and girl. Maybe this is because I'm a perfectly straight guy and most slash writers I know are female, but I can't see the appeal in homosexual love.
@seraeris - I know some show tendencies, or at least, there are scenes that could be interpreted as such, but in most series I watch it's rather obvious which characters are attracted to each other. (Well, maybe that's because of my feverish mind, who knows.) Do you happen to know why females find slash so appealing?

I use internet explorer. I let it sit for a few minutes and it still gets the loading icon in the corner.
Then I recommend either switching to Firefox, getting a better ISP, or both.
I use IE and it works perfectly. The ISP must be at fault.
Depending, of course, on how gunk-filled their browser is. Suggested Firefox because, as a rule, it tends to attract (slightly) less.
Speaking of, third precaution: download a free cleaning tool like CCleaner, if you haven't already.
It bothers me when people focus solely on canon pairings and there is no other pairing considered. For me the best part of fanfiction is that you can do things YOUR way, not the way the author or writer of the original material did it. As for canon pairings that aren't given much of a storyline by their original creator, then I can see why people would want to delve more into them. However, I hate that people only want to write about Edward/Bella when they are given more then ample time in the novels.
I'm not judging people for writing canon, but when I read fanfiction, I want it to be something aside from what I can get out of the original plot.
Well to some people, the main pairings are probably just so enjoyable and the other characters are hard to match. Some times it is indeed nice to read a variety of pairings in the fics, but still, it can't be helped if one particular pairing happens to be favored over others.

I have one pairing that I hate above all else:
Red Alert and Hot Shot from Transformers Animated. Firstly, in human terms, Red Alert is in her early forties and Hot Shot is in his late teens. This enormous age gap does not stop shippers. Also, Red Alert was assigned to be the medic for Hot Shot's team, and it's clearly only for a short, short period of time. She immediately says a sentence that practically means "Don't worry my boss will handle it" to Hot Shot right before she begins to cut off his leg. I see no romantic innuendo at all.
Another reason I have for hating it is that Hot Shot and Red Alert are simply not compatible. Red Alert has obviously only been part of the team for an obscenely short amount of time, and Hot Shot would be completely turned off by her gruff demeanor. She's so focused on her work and an over-the-top perfectionist, whereas Hot Shot has been trained teeth and nails by the leader of their team. They're so invested in their personal agenda that they probably rarely even notice each other. I'll bet you five peanuts that Hot Shot can't even remember Red Alert's name (He actually only refers to her as 'medic' in all of his appearances).
Another reason I don't like this pairing is because it seems to me that the only reason people pair them together is because they shared a scene on TV. A scene that was pretty much them fighting with each other and doing absolutely nothing at all while Decepticons trash the rest of their home. A scene where Red Alert cuts off Hot Shot's leg and he is completely devastated, and begs for her to stop. A scene where Red Alert completely shrugs off all concern and goes for the easy route, then telling Hot Shot to "shut up the government will fix it leave me alone".
I can't stand this pairing. It makes no sense, and I refuse to accept it.
Of course, I'm mostly being a hypocrite, because I support pairings between people that probably haven't even MET. But I justify them by studying the characters FIRST before seeing if there's a match. Yeah.
Snape/Harry or Snape/Hermione. There's something distinctly peadophilic about it.

I kinda make a point not to hate pairings - after all, I've become involved with naming a fair few over in my fandom - but there's one particular one which I just don't like all that much. Trouble is, it's the fan-favourite: Faithshipping (Yuusei/Aki) from 5Ds. Just, the way things stand at the moment, a relationship between them just wouldn't feel right, y'know?
(On the other hand, I'm perfectly fine with those two together as soon as it turns into Motivationshipping... by making it a threesome of Yuusei/Aki/Crow. From a friendship/pseudo-romantic viewpoint.)
I despise Yullen (from D.Gray-man for those who don't know). Allen and Kanda (Yu) hate each other!! Sure, they aren't trying to murder each other anymore, but they don't even get along. And it's nothing against Yaoi or Yuri pairing is general, it's just this one that makes me want to stab someone with a spork.
Also, any pairing with Sasuke from Naruto. I think he should be alone. He's abusive to Sakura, Hinata is in love with Naruto, Naruto just thinks of him as a friend (I think...)and loves Sakura; Orochimaru is just...eew and Karin should be with Suigetsu. Yes, this last bit is opinitive(sp.), but a girl can dream, can't she? :P

Definitely Ichihime from Bleach. Don't get me wrong - I don't hate Orihime herself - but she's not the right kind of person for Ichigo, and her view of Ichigo is not a true one. In addition, Ichigo's never truly noticed her, not in terms of emotions at any rate. Ichigo's not fully, completely himself when he interacts with her. He's a friend to her, and he acts like a friend...nothing else. Rukia, on the other hand, gets to see all of his personality. The one time Orihime saw a shard of Ichigo's darker side - his hollow mask, donned in the fight against Grimmjow - she was frozen in fear, noticing only similarities between Ichigo and Sora and realizing that Ichigo's eyes didn't reflect her (which I think is something of a selfish thought, but there you go...). She had to be prompted by Nel into shouting encouragement to him. Rukia, however, only wondered what had happened to Ichigo that could have changed his mask's design, suggesting that she had seen it before. She did not fear him, despite having ample reason to herself (memories of Kaien overtaken by Hollow). Orihime can't deal with Ichigo's darkness, and that is part of who he is, no matter what.
As for "Kurosaki-kun"...uh, yeah, the anime killed me there. Now, every time I hear Orihime start that, I immediately yell for her to stop. Please...just stop. I can listen to a compiled video of Rukia calling Ichigo's name in Fade to Black or something like that and be just fine, but a compiled video of Orihime's 'Kurosaki-kun' recordings in Hueco Mundo is like nails across a chalkboard to me. Perhaps it's the voice. Perhaps it's the sound of the syllables themselves. I just know that I can't really stand it.
For the last, paraphrasing the apt words of another fanfiction author, Ichigo and Orihime would not work together for one more all-encompassing reason: Orihime can't stand seeing her loved ones fight. Ichigo can't stand not fighting for his loved ones. In the end, they would only hurt one another on the inside.

The fact that they're both guys has nothing to do with my distaste for it, it's just the fact that they're related that really gets under my skin.

ZADR (Zim and Dib) Invader Zim-- Dib hates Zim from the moment he sees him. There both guys, and the very concept of a relationship between them is inconceivable. They couldn't even be friends.
Robin/Raven (Teen Titans)-- Throughout the series Robin has a HUGE crush on Starfire, and he is only Raven's friend in the series. They even end up together in the final movie, but people insist on the whole Robin/Raven crap.

Robin/Slade-- 0_0 This makes me sick.... this makes me VERY sick. Slade is Robin's arch nemesis, Robin despises him to the very core. I am so sick of people just pairing Robin with anyone when he's already perfectly happy with Starfire.
BB/Terra-- I just don't like Terra in general and never have. I hate how she uses the Teen Titans and they just want her back. Especially how she treats BB... poor guy.
Danny/Vlad-- Another one that makes me feel sick on the inside. That would be called a pedophile. (And how would that work? They killed Vlad off in the last episode)
Dib/Tak-- Ok... Dib has met Tak all of one time, but I guess I don't COMPLETELY loathe this pairing. I just dislike it. I will read it though. But I just feel like they paired them to put Dib with someone.
Tak/Zim-- Zim despises Tak to the highest degree. Absolutelty hates her. That and I am a hardcore Zim/Gaz fan so anyone with Zim but Gaz ticks me off.

I don't like most guy/guy hate turned into love fics. I mean seriously, when did "I hate you" turn to "I love you"?
I don't hate all guy pairings (JackxKazama ftw xD), but I hate those kinds that I just listed above.
There are loads out there that I dislike, and that's just a few of them.
Pairings I hate:
NCIS:
TIVA- I loathe TIVA with a fierry freaking passion that could burn the universe. I love Tony, he's my favorite character, and I like Ziva for the most part (I like Kate better, but that's another issue) but I hate them together. Mostly because it's just so shoved down my throat. Ok, I generally can't stand canon pairings for this very reason. I like having an imagination and using said imagination. I like finding little subtle hints to a person's feelings. But TIVA is just so in my face that I sometimes hate watching NCIS in the last five seasons because I'm sick of looking at it.
JIBBS- I actually liked Jenny, I just didn't like her with Gibbs, for pretty much the same reason as TIVA. OK, I should admit, I am a diehard fan of Gibbs/DiNozzo. In my opinion, THAT is chemistry.
I don't read het stories, so I really don't care how people decide to pair them, but with JIBBS and TIVA, I have no choice but to see it because it's freaking canon.
BTVS:
While normally, I absolutely loathe canon pairings, Buffy and Angel are the only canon couple I truly and unconditionally adore in television. Namely because they are the only ones who can break my heart and make me feel their pain. Regardless of how many times I've seen the season 2 finale, I will always cry when Buffy kills Angel. They made me feel for them, and they are the only canon pairing who has ever done that to me.
And now onto the couples that I hate.
Buffy/Spike- A.) Spike tried to rape her, and B.) The writers completely killed Spike's character when they made him fall in love with Buffy. I mean, he became this completely whiny little pathetic puppy who followed her around all the time. I liked him better when he was evil.
Buffy/Riley- Whiny, annoying, bland, Angel substitute. That was Riley. Why did Buffy like him?
House M.D.:
HAMERON- Cameron was interested in House because he was broken, because she had a weird complex that she wanted to try and fix. I honestly never thought that House could ever take Cameron's crush on him seriously. I really don't care about the age gap (again, TIBBS fan), but when it comes to HAMERON, it always feels more like Cameron has a school girl crush on her teacher, not legit love.
CHAMERON- Before they're together, Cameron wasn't exactly nice to Chase, they start a weird friends with benefits sex thing, and Chase admits that all Cameron wants is to make House jealous (which turns him into a pussy for going along with it) then that ends and Cameron treats him like crap while he's chasing after her. But she doesn't give him the time of day until House fires him and then she's completely in love with him (like I said earlier, complex). But then when they are together, she's constantly finding excuses to push him away and somebody has to CONVINCE her to move forward with him. Am I wrong that this couple was just ridiculous?
Foreman/Thirteen- Pretty much because I hate thirteen and I hated how much screentime their relationship got.
Those are the only ones I genuinely hate.

now, a TDI fanon paring that really ticks me off is NoahxCody. i mean, honestly!!! Noah was fricking ASLEEP!!! and i like Noah, so i think it's a real injustice.
another one would be CourtneyxHarold. anyone who writes that obviously has absolutely NO respect for canon. Harold switched the votes and got Courtney voted off! she HATES him!!!

I really dislike Harry/Ginny. Or at least the way its written. If the whole reason behind them getting together was at least okay I would have been fine with it. Im not much of a fan of Harry/Hermione either but I'm okay with it.
I also dislike Draco/Hermione...NO wait I HATE (i usually dont use this word) it! I mean seriously...I dont even know why but I cant stand it.
Zim/Gir....I dont even get that one...I mean come one Gir is the epitome of cute robots in dog costumes...HE'S A ROBOT (<3)!I dont even wanna know how that would work
Lily/James for the same reason as someone stated before....how he treated her apparent friend was so....like how would you want to be with someone like that anyways...even if he changed still...
Dumbledore/Anyone...I just dont even want to think about that LMFAO..when I think of Dumbledore I can imagine him as a teenager for some reason
Voldemort/anyone....Tom M. Riddle Jr. is okay, but Voldie..no.

Avatar: The Last Airbender
Kataang (Katara and Aang) - I absolutely dispise this pairing, not only because of the oedipal relationship that looks a little bit too much like how my mom and I both treat my brother, but also because Aang is to much of a 'Holier-than-thou' personality. As a fighter, I love Aang, but as a character I just want to put him over my knee and give him the spanking he deserves...or punch him in the nose...preferably both. Plus, you don't really see Katara's side of the relationship. Where was it that she decided that she wanted a romantic relationship with Aang. She was just given to Aang like a prize...THAT BUGS ME!!!!!!
Digimon:
Matt and Sora - Yuck. My issue with this pairing is how one season she's with Tai. Then she's with Joe. Then finally whe's with Matt? It's not even the fact that she jumps around between friends that bugs me (she can date whoever and however many people she wants and I wouldn't care) but where's the emotional build up? Seriously. I hate out of the blue pairings

Cleris (Cloud and Aerith/s) - I'm just going to be blunt and say that I hate Aerith. I hate almost all damsels in distress characters. With that being said, Aerith is using Cloud like a Zack substatute. Bitch!
Vincent/Lucrecia - Simply put, I don't like her. AT ALL!!! My reason, Sephiroth. For a mother to do that to her own child...she deserves what she got!

Inuyasha:
Inukik (Inuyasha/Kikyo) - If you love someone, you accept them for who they are, faults and all. Kikyo loved the idea of Inuyasha, not the individual. Plus, she's a manipulative bitch who also has a 'Holier-than-thou' personality. I hate her and every time she died was a happy episode for me.
Jak and Daxter:
Jak/Ashelin - NONONONONOONONONONONONONO NO!!!!!! Jak loves Keira, the previous and following games to Jak 3 have proved as much!
Kingdom Hearts:
Sora/Kairi - Kairi=damsel in distress in the first game and was only marginally better in the next. I don't like her at all and I loath this pairing even more.
Riku/Kairi - he spent all his time obsessing over Sora, the darkness, and the keyblade. Enough said.
Naruto:
NaruHina (Naruto/Hinata)- Naruto doesn't even notice her...at all (and I've stopped watching so I won't know if he ever will) Plus it just rubs me wrong
NaruSaku (Naruto/Sakura)- I love them both in a platonic relationship, but anything more just doesn't work for me
SasuSaku (Sasuke/Sakura)- I love Sakura, but I hate what she becomes when Sasuke is involved. I like him too, but I'd prefer if their relationship remained platonic
Neji/Tenten - Her voice bothers me...so much
Shikatema (Shikimaru/Temari) - once I had Shikamaru and Ino as a couple in my head I just couldn't switch over to Shikatema...which is odd for me...but oh well
Yu Yu Hakusho:
Anything other than the canon pairings! The Manga-ka did an amazing job with the pairings so DON'T MESS WITH IT!!!!!!!
And as a side note, I DESPISE OCs!!! Once they're introduced into a fic it usually becomes all about them and I don't read fanfiction so people can project themselves into the story. Using an OC as a means to get the character from point A to point B is okay, but get rid of them afterwards. I read fanfiction for the already established characters within the fandom.
I don't read (not really dislike but NEVER read) cliche couples. Okay, I know Itachi and Anko have never spoke/met/been-in-the-same-general-area. BUT THAT'S WHAT MAKES IT INTERESTING. xD
Hm... Generally, you REALLY have to be convincing in order for me to even give a het fic a chance. Otherwise, it really depends. But there are a few pairings that just make me raise an eyebrow:
Hetalia: Axis Powers
FrUk (France/England): Mainly because it gets in the way of USUK. And for some reason, I'd rather have France paired up with Canada.
RusAm (Russia/America): That would not really be a healthy relationship, in my opinion. (And I kinda like Russia/China. It's the only Russia pairing I support.)
GerIta (Germany/Italy): I don't hate it. It's just... So overdone in the fandom. Kinda gets boring after a while. (Germancest, on the other hand, is not only more interesting, it's also more historically accurate. And in my mind, they're not real brothers, so...)
Death Note
MelloxNear: Last time I checked, they didn't really like each other. Mello especially has a bit of a dislike for Near.
Inception
Saito/Fischer: I tried. But no, I don't see it being convincingly pulled off. (Doesn't really help that Cobb/Fischer is my Inception OTP.)

Severus and Lily. No. Big no. I hate it. I mean, did you even see the picture of Snape in the first Harry Potter book of what he is supposed to look like? Ugh, no. And Snape was SO mean to Harry, Ron, and especially Hermione. Sometimes I just wanted to punch him in the face even though he doesn't exist. So what if he ended up to be good at the end? Does that automatically renounce all the bad he did? No. And think about this creepy thought: Snape being Harry's DAD.... shudder
Bleach: Ichihime. no doubt about it. followed by momo/toshiro.

Edward/Jacob- Are you for real here? Or are you just pulling my leg. This is stupid. And even if it were ecen a little bit true... Tell me how a Vamp/Werewolf. Could EVEN POSSIBLY be together? I would really really like to know.
and last but NEVER least...
Lupin/Sirius- I'm sorry I know that everyone's like OMG it's a BRO-MANCE! But, I just don't see it at all. Nothing I just see 2 friends having fun with the other. Nothing more, and I know Lupin was devasted when Sirius died but, COME ON! Be realistic here Lupin/Tonks were MEANT to be together.
Something must be said against all the slash fics out there, whether femslash or "traditional" slash, although that doesn't seem to be an appropriate word...
I will not apologize for thinking outright that there are many things innately wrong with writing about a homosexual relationship (Harry/Ron, Sirius/Lupin, Rodney/John--SGA, and recently I've seen Ella/Hattie from Ella Enchanted, etc.).
Also, the pedophile-creeper fics involving Snape and Hermione or Snape and any other main-main character part of the Golden Trio/inner circle of friends. The occasional Snape/Lily ones are great if written well, but sadly some ships don't have enough support or decent writers to do justice.
One last question...am I the only one who has no problem with Hannah and Seeley being together on Bones?

So, Light (or L) and Misa, that's definitely a no. Sorry Misa, but no. They just don't go together well. (As for L/Light, I'm actually a shipper.)

Hate would be too strong a word for me to use against certain pairings. Sure i have my favourite pairings (NarutoHinata n SasukeHinata in Naruto, HieiYukina n HieiBotan in Yu Yu Hakusho, and many other pairings in other fandoms), but i don't hate pairings that i dislike.
I learnt it the hard way. I used to hate SasuHina in a temper tantrum (i was angry at myself) i took up the task to read Ikigai (a Sasuhina). Now it is a fic in my top5 and Sasuhina is a pairing i like!
But i do tend to avoid NarutoSasuke. And unfortunately since i tend to avoid them, i haven't come across a fic that appeals to me.
Pairings that I Dislike (but I can read if written well):
Neville/Luna - I can't see them together at all. It seems sometimes that people pair them together because she's really the only girl you see Neville interact with that isn't paired with Ron or Harry (and they're both the oddballs of the group with few friends). Ron/Luna and Harry/Luna are more believable to me than Neville/Luna.
Lily/James - I just plain hate this pairing, mostly because it resembles Bella/Edward too much for me. I also happened to not like either character as they are portrayed during Snape's memories (the closest we get to seeing the characters from an objective perspective).
Harry/Ginny - I think my opinion has been slightly warped from reading so many fanfics that emphasize their friendship that I can't really see them romantically. And I have always hated that Ginny was meant to be his perfect soulmate from the beginning, because...well I just hate that purpose for any type of character.
Bella/Edward - Don't like either character and don't like their drug-metaphor true love.
Jacob/Renesmee - It has gradually begun to creep me out as the implications catch up to me. I also hate that Nessie was simply created to give Jacob his 'happily ever after' (in a sick, creepy way).
Sasuke/anyone - He doesn't really know how to treat other people...like humans who don't deserve painful deaths or torment.
That's all I can think of right now...
Zoro/Tashigi (One Piece) - I don't know why I hate this pairing, but something about it just feels seriously, fundamentally wrong. Maybe it's the fact she looks like Zoro's dead friend Kuina, which might sound romantic to some, but strikes me as a REALLY bad standard for love.
Kakashi/Iruka (Naruto) - I don't hate this pairing as much as I used to... it's just the fact that I couldn't see WHY people went for this pairing for years (until I finally caught my eye on the 1 or 2 panels that surely started it... and then I was like "THAT'S IT?!?!"). Its prevalence still annoys me, but there have been some nice pictures for it, so it's somewhat forgiven.
Sasuke/Anyone (Naruto) - I simply don't see Sasuke deserving love, in whatever form the love might take. Besides, I don't think he's even discovered sexuality yet.
Tenshinhan/Bra (DBZ) - Before you go "wat" or "lolrandom", I did read a fic with this pairing before. Despite all that I have read (including purposefully disturbing fics), this was the one that freaked me out for a week. I think it's the age gap, which there are a lot of pedo-pairings that go a little too close to "squick" for me, but it strangely isn't universal (for instance, I don't like Kakashi/Sakura, but Minato/Rin can be okay).
Naruto/Sakura (Naruto) - To be honest, I don't hate this pairing; I really don't. But there's a person I hate that loves this pairing, and just for that I want this pairing to fail epically. In fact, I hope Sakura goes for Hinata and they die together... just to see the fanbase IMPLODE.
Zoro/Sanji (One Piece) - I really don't get the whole "they hate each other they love each other" thing, especially since it is in EVERY SINGLE FANDOM. These two men hate each other, end of story.
Goku/Vegita (DBZ) - Same as Zoro/Sanji.
Jack Sparrow/Elizabeth Swann (Pirates of the Carribean) - I'd just feel sorry for Jack. Surely he could do better with the random floozies at Tortuga.

Well, if you read the complete series of HP you should know that Snape and Lily really had a chance of becoming a couple.
He was in love with her and she liked him, but when he started to become mean to James Potter and his friends (because they bullied him) and he called her a mudblood, well she decided to go for James.
And if that had happened, Severus being with Lily, Harry wouldn't have even been born (since he wouldn't have the same genetic make up).
Personally, I like Severus. HE's my favourite character, and not because of his looks, but because he's one of the most nuanced characters in the whole series. The way he was good all along and yet acting bad all the time.
It's the opposite and yet the same as Dumbledore. HE acted like a saint while in fact he did some pretty awful things himself (fraternizing with Grindewald?)

Draco/Harry (Harry Potter) ---I seriously thought this was a joke the first time I saw it.
Draco/Hermione (Harry Potter) ---same as above, plus I doubt Hermione would hook-up with the guy how regularly calls her the wizard ebullient of the “N-word.” Ron can be a jerk sometimes, but at least he knows where to draw the line.
Post- shippuden Sasuke/ANYONE (Naruto) --- Mostly because I’m so mad at him right now I can’t put it into words, and also because I believe he’s gone so far off the deep end now that he’s incapable of loving anybody. (Sucks too, because pre-shippuden Sasuke/Naruto is one of my OTPs).
Tony/Kate (NCIS) ---First off, I can’t stand Kate! She was always such a bitch to everyone and never got called out on it. Second, they spent like 97% of their time together arguing, putting-down, and just plan being nasty to each other. How, pray tell, does that form the base of a good relationship? The two cared for each other as PARTNERS, and maybe friends, but nothing more.
Katniss/Gale (The Hunger Games) --- Now, I like Gale, he’s a really great guy, but they just don’t have that spark Katniss and Peeta have.
That’s all I can think of now; too tired.
As a guy I don't generaly read slash(men or women) but I hate when I read a recap or see the pairing are two stright charcters have gone gay. It is completly aginst the canon soruce material. To me if you are going to ignore the characters sexual orintation, which is as deeply ingrained as any other part of their personality, I can only wonder what else you are going to change about them until they only resembe the cannon on the outside.
Bleach
Toshiro/Momo-They shared the same house years ago and call the same women grandma, either they are married or they are family. The main reason they bother me is because of the crazy fans who insist they have a romantic love instead of the family bond.
Ichigo/Rukia-These two have shown to be good friends, certinly that can lead to more. But for me I always had a hard time getting by the fact that they are from two different worlds. I always found it intresting that people never complain about this couple being pedo, Rukia is several decades if not centruies older, but because they look about the same age they say nothing, but in 20 years when Ichigo is pushing 40 and Rukia looks like a 15/16 year old what will people think. Again, it's hard to say if its the pairing itself or its fan that bother me more.
Rengi/Rukia-These two spent their childhoods together with several others living on the streets in a sudo family, while I admit Rengi had a crush on Rukia over a century ago he seems to have let it go. We know neither one talked for the 50 years they were Soul Reapers leading up to Rukia's arrset, at which point he seemed to really enjoy trying to kill her, you could say he was holding back but I think that would actualy make him worse, the cat toying with the mouse before he kills and eats it, delighting in its fear and terror. Not to mention if he had some feelings at that point why would he go out of his way to specificlly stop the one person who could save her life? At that point it seemed more posesive then anything else to me, though now they may be friends again I just don't see any intrest there, especialy from Rukia.
Urahara/Yoruichi-This one is certinly strange and annoying. People act like they are an item when there has been almost no idication of that. While they were good friends in the Soul Society they seem to have drifited apart. If I remeber corrctly she has spent the last 100 years of their exhile in the form of a cat wondering the world, away from Urahara. I may be wrong but the fact that Jinta had no idea that Yoruichi was anything more then a cat is telling(I doubt he is a human child after all) so she likly hast been near him in atleast a few decades. If they truly loved eachother then I don't think they would stay that far away from eachother. Again I find the fans as annoying as the pairing itself
Yoruichi/Soifon-This one is another one where the fans assume things without cause leading to my problem with it. Soifon's love of Yoruichi seems to have started as a child looking up to a beutiful and powerful noble, when you look at there history it seems more like hero worship then romantic intrest. The only hints at romancs is in the omakes where she gets her chocalte candy and wants naked pictures of her, then again I will never claim to understand a womens mind so this could have no meaning at all. As for Yoruichi's part, she attacked Soifon right after saving her the first time they met in person. She never seems to listen to anything Soifon says and seems to only show intrest becuase she wants to get away from all the guys around her. I may be wrong but I don't think she was actually bansihed with Urahara and the others, she chose to go with them instead of remaing behind with Soifon, which to me just shows a lack of real intrest as a friend or anything else.

Zuko/Mai-This pairing just seemed so forced in the show
Zuko/Katara-Katara admits that for most of the series she focused most of her hate and anger on Zuko. Even if she has worked past his betrayal in Ba Sins Se and the fact that he thretened to kill her gran gran and the rest of her village and the fact that he continusely hunted her, her brother, and her friends I dont think she could see him as anything more then an ally in war without seriously compromisng her character.
NCIS
Tim/Abby-This is a strange one. I don't mind if it set during the fisrt two seasons, maybe even the third, but they broke up for a reason. The fact that they were dating while he was on Gibbs team in season two means it wasn't Gibbs rules that caused them to end it. So there must have been something else. Though they do sometimes show jealouse when the other shows intrest in someone else it seems to be about oneuping the new person to prove they are better then the person their ex is intrested in.
Tony/Ziva-People veiw this as fact and that just bothers me. Especially in seassons 3, 4, and 5 when they show as much intrest in others as they do eachother, especaliy Tony who falls in love with another women during seasson 4.
Gibbs/Jenny-This one is annoying only because the whole basses for it is one mission years ago in Paris. Seriously, everytime they metion their past together its always Paris, considering they were there as some black op assasination team I would be supprised if they spent more then 2-3 weeks there. They had plenty of chances to pick this relashinship up if they wanted to but neither did which is telling.

I saw your post and your comment on Toshiro/Momo. Goodness, if you write them as brother and sister, you'll get flamed simply because making them that is just sick. Yet... TK shows more hints of them being family then a romantic pairing. The Manga, DDR (he helped), the Bleach character book (he put it together)... seriously...
As for Ichigo/Rukia, I measure ages not by actual ages, but by equivilent age. I mean, by saying that you go by a persons actual age, then Yamamato/Yachiru must be all right simply because they are both adults simply because they have obviously lived more then eighteen years. But, you are right in the aging differently thing. NOBODY adresses it and how at one moment, not pedo, then next, it is.
The other three I agree on the Bleach ones.
As for the A:tLA, Zuko/Mai just seems to have no umph to it. As for Katara, that is where a good deal of AU and/or good writing comes into play. Most writers don't have it. As for Aang/Katara, a good deal of the ship fics don't put any development in. This ship, like Ron/Hermione simply needs development and not just assumption, since not much happened within the series. I did love the action movie for Aang/Katara, simply because it down toned Aangs childishness, something that always bothered me about the pairing.

Speaking of Avatar another one of my don't like so much is Sokka/Suki. They meet once, very early in season one, and she gave him a small peck on the cheek(which to me seemed more friendly/platonic than romantic)and didn't see each other until 28 episodes later, and suddenly they're madly in love? They hardly know each other! It doesn't help that Suki's a bit flat character wise. She's a badass action-girl in a world full of them, and the only info on her past we get in that she once dated Fomey.
As for Aang/Katara I'm on the fence. On one hand: it's totally sweat and I've always been a sucker of love at first sight(even if it was one-sided on Aang's part). It's Katara that confuses me: she acted more like a big sis/mother to him for most of the series than a love-interest. I understand they're trying to show she cares for him, but I think they took it a bit far. (That, and I find Katara to be really annoying, but that's another story entirely!)
Harry/Hermione(Harry Potter)--simply because this had got to be one of the cutest, most awesome brother/sister relationship I've even seem! I never saw anything romantic, just pure platonic love.

You should try telling that to Harry/Hermione fans. I particularly mean the rabid ones. They were seeing things that simply weren't there, like in Cassandra Claire's Draco Trilogy, she wrote quite a bit about how in the books that Hermione had a really heavy crush on Harry, when she had read the forth book and it was rather clear otherwise. I think the whole mess happened due to an influx of fans who had only seen the movies.
Same goes with Toshiro/Momo in Bleach. I know somebody who writes well for that pairing, but when she gets flamed the one time she writes them as friendship by a rabid shipper for that pairing, something is wrong. In the Eastern culture protecting family is very important, but some of the fans mistake protecting Momo as a romantic thing, rather then a familiar relationship. (Actually, familiar relationship is how they are listed in the character book TK put out.) One even brought up something from a Drama CD that by the time they brought it up was contradicted by other sources.

I mean Sakura is obsessed with Sasuke and i would hardly say she loves him. She's in love with his looks and though she may learn a little bit about Sasuke, being on the same team as him and all but she barely knows ANYTHING about him!!! And Sasuke only likes Sakura as a friend! He may be better friends with her than any other girl but that means nothing! I also dislike Bella/Edward. No, scratch that. I hate Bella/Edward; really, really HATE it. What pisses me off that most is that we’re supposed to believe Edward’s the most perfect boyfriend in the world, but nearly all of his actions say otherwise. He controls EVERY aspect of her life, never takes her opinion seriously, separates her from all her other friends, gets super jealous if she even looks at another boy, removes (in other words: steels) the engine of her car so she can’t visit her best friend, and is constantly calling her “weak” and saying she needed him to “protect” her. Now, does that sound like the caring, sweet, romantic boyfriend Bella’s always talking about? No, no it doesn’t. It’s boarder-line abusive; plain and simple.

About NaruSasu….yeah. I don’t like it either. But given a good NaruSasu fic I would read it. And I definitely would not put it as “he could do so much better than her! Hinata is a billion times better than her” even though I am a Naruhina and hinata fan and dislike Sakura. Somehow I don’t hate any character and I don’t prefer any author or fic that bashes a certain character. But then again everyone is free to have their personal opinion.

Well I can’t say I like or either dislike bella/Edward but I can tell I do not prefer bella/Jacob. Also somehow Jacob/renesmee sounds good. And I totally agree that seth and leah should be forever alone.

Anyway, that's her theory. And the fact that Jacob would be a pedhophile isn't exactly true since they are both immortal and don't age anymore (Renesemee will stop aging as a twentier or so). Plus in the books Jacob explains that because of their love for their soulmates they will be whatever they need be for the time being.
If you think Renesmee and Jacob are gross, then what about one of Jacob's pack with the two-year old niece of Emily. That's even more grossed out since that girl will grow old and die while he will stay young forever.
That theory really doesn't make sense...
Well, I finished the books like two years ago, but I think Renesmee was supposed to stop aging at around eighteen. Jacob and the rest of his pack will continue to age, but they won't age as long as they are constantly morphing into the wolves, it preserves them or something like that. And the part about... Quil, I believe or whatever his name was and the little girl, he can remain young until she is his age and then stop morphing if there is no danger requiring him to continue becoming the wolf, meaning that he can grow old with her as well and isn't immortal.
The problem with these arguments is that Stephanie Meyer truly had a crap plot. Sure there were twists and turns, but it wasn't very well structured and there were so many holes in it. The concieving of Renesmee being one of the holes. Because there are some functions that happen during the making of a baby that not even a living, dead body can perform. There were plenty of other plot holes that really took away from it.
Those plot holes leave room for these arguments and there really is no answer to some of these questions because of the quality of Stephanie Meyer's work. She made a series that lacked and now it's left for the fans to battle it out over arguments she did a terrible job of resolving and leaving us with questions that not even she can answer.

An OC might not be bad, but they would have to be written in a certain way. But do you see what I mean about separating your hatred of a character from your hatred of a pairing?
And then, there's crossover pairings. I think the most common one seems to be KagomeXsomebody, which makes me extremely angry. She has a history with Inuyasha, one that can't just be brushed aside, so in a crossover story she falls in love with the first cute, nice guy she sees? I'm sorry, but if Kagome was that shallow, she would be dating Hojo.
Most crossover pairings also seem to be like this, an author takes their two favorite characters and sticks them together, regardless of how unlikely their pairing is or that they may have already been in relationships. Some are okay, but most just bother me.
I actually don't really like HarryXHermione due to how cliche it is that the male lead and the female lead fall in love, but I don't really mind it if the circumstances presented in the FF are right.
I also have a slight grudge against HieiXKurama pairings, but I can deal if the relationship takes a very far back seat from the plot. I have nothing against maleXmale pairings, but even the author noticed the growing interpretations of their characters and so had Kurama and Hiei have a conversation which went something like this(paraphrased): (Kurama, after receiving a necklace from Hiei)"I don't feel that way about you"(Hiei)"You fool, I don't feel that way about you either. I want you to deliver that to Yukina!"(Kurama)"Give it to her yourself" The pairing is just so OOC!

yes KuramaHiei is too much. The Yu Yu Hakusho archive in both ff.net and mediaminer are overflowing with that pairing.
About the ‘set of pairings’… yeah. It kind of annoys me when the summary shows four or five pairings and the author tries to get them together with no basic plot.
“Tenten has no interest in Neji” I don’t think that is the case. In the anime there have been few instances where Neji seems a bit closer to Tenten than Lee. Of course one might interpret that as them being mere friends but then again everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I don't think you can blame the popularity of NaruSasu on the accidental kiss, though. Naruto had a ton more "moments" with Sasuke, most recently declaring that the two are going to die together. Hell, the only reason I figure the pairing doesn't seem to be considered canon is that it would be too bold for one of the Big 3 to suddenly have the main pairing be gay.
Not that I like those two together, either. Just sayin' there's more ammo. Besides, you can't have two males in the main cast together without a fangirl out there shipping them. I think there's an internet rule for that.

With most other things where there's a popular slash couple in fandom that isn't necessarily canon, I'd agree that this is friendship that is being interpreted as something else, and I'm sure that it's indeed Kishi's intention for it to be a friendship. But that doesn't change that there are very, very many subject scenes between the two, and I'm sure someone else could list them out a lot better than I (I don't like the pairing, so I never tried to look for these events). But, seriously: if one of these two characters had been a girl instead, but all interactions the same, the Great Naruto Shipping Wars would look hell of a lot different (and I'd still hate the pairing).

I like to believe Sakura's grown-up enough to realize her "love" for Sasuke was nothing more than a childish crush. She does love him, just not in that way. Plus, what do they honestly have in common? I can't think of a single thing!
Naruto/Sakura--I simple can't tell what to make of these two. Do they supposed to be like brother and sister? Are they in love? I know Naruto had/has a crush on her, and she "confessed," but nothings been resolve. I just wish something would happen that makes it clear what their relationship is.(If it did happen and I missed it, feel free to tell me!)

Bella wasn't a legal adult when the two started dating, and for all that Edward was an immortal teenager, he still had the mental and emotional years of an adult. SoraXKairi-Correct me if I'm wrong but point out a moment to me, in any of the games SORA stars in, when he says Kairi before Riku. Based on that theory, I can't support SoraxKairi.
I can support incest if I'm in the right mood. But other times I'll hate it worst than RoxasxXemnas!

@Efyraa Actually Duo and Heero was, at one point, canon but they changed it. I'm not tying to start anything, just throwing out some facts that may not be so well known.
But while I'm here I'll offer my opinions on my not so fave pairings.

From Evangelion: Shinji and Asuka. That poisonous little bitch needs to die. She is as screwed up as a football bat, and is taking it out on the world in general.
From Ranma 1/2: Ranma and Ukyo. See the notes above.
From Macross: Ling Minmay and anyone. I want that shallow, worthless girl to die lonely and alone.
From Tenchi Muyo: Tenchi and Ayeka. It seems painfully obvious to me that Ayeka hasn't grown up. Sasami is far more mature.
From Harry Potter: Harry and Draco. I mean, seriously! WTF?!
Molly and Sherlock from the BBC 'Sherlock' mini series. That pairing makes me want to throw up.
...also, Hinata (from 'Naruto') with anyone. I know she's greatly loved by many, but personally I find her excrutiatingly boring.
I also dislike SakuraxNaruto, but I don't hate it. Sakura is difficult to empathise with and like.
I stopped reading Naruto due to the awful way females were written, and for all the 'Sasuke love' from the fans and author. It was irritating.
AangxKatara from The Last Airbender; that relationship was creepy. She was practically his mother for most of the series.

House/Cuddy - I just was never able to get into that pairing, even when they were a couple on the show I just never liked it much.
From Hetalia, there's a few I don't like, my main one being GerIta, then there's RusPrus and RusAme.

One of my friends couldn't believe I never liked GerIta and then claimed it was canon... Excuse me while I sharpen the 'No pairing in Hetalia is canon' spear. ._.
