Jase is the more hunter-like one, always was a dare-devil and usually before he does anything too stupid Jay'll stop him. When separate, be prepared for hell. Is more affectionate to his younger brother and usually kisses his forehead whenever concerned, or just wants to...Cuddle? Smiles on his left side on his face and it's usually very large when he's planning something, small smiles are usually re-assurace and middle-sized are when he's thinking...Which is usually rare to see.

Originally born on the tropical planet of Constance in the Barnard's Star system. Ryan enjoyed a great life in Whitesand, Constance's mainland capital city, although he has often visited passing floating cities, although he has never seen one larger than than a few football fields. When he was six years old, Ryan's parents were killed by a crime lord, Vidic Davik. Ryan was placed in Constance Child Services until he was 18, where he traveled to Earth and established an arms trading company hoping to find Davik. He never did, but he earned enough money to get contacts from Colt, Krinkov, and Gesabelle Armories.
In 3235, he met then-1st Lieutenant Vennettilli when he arrived for ammunition. He has been considered Chris' right hand man ever since and is extremely loyal to his friends.
I'm in the process of developing a few OC's, a couple that I plan on using for the original novel I'm planning, and one for a short multi-chap that I'm planning for fanfiction, based around a similar idea to the novel I want to write.

She's a vampire that's near enough 2000 years old. Thats a language every 20 years, when you think about it like that it really doesn't sound as much.
Does memory retention last over 2,000 years? I mean, there's new syntax, conjugation, sentence structure, as time goes on, it racks up. I'd be swamped after around fifty.
Depends on how human this vamp is, I suspect - no two stories have 'em quite the same. Photographic memory certainly better be an explicit trait, though.
I have heard cases of creatures with perfect memories, like the drell from Mass Effect. Perfect memories, right down to expressions, actions and even scents, but they live around the same as we do though.

Cool, calm and collected, Eido has grown tremendously from the experiences he had previously in his life. He is normally quiet, as all his previous friends he had before he joined the outer world (as opposed to the underworld) were not good enough to make it, and now no longer talk to him. He is unnaturally cold towards many people, as most do not spark his interest. This causes people to be unnerved, even afraid of Eido, as he has the very deep, soulful eyes, yet appears asocial to an extreme. Background History: (again, a general history)
Eido Lonseraph was born to a vampire alpha male of his tribe and a female angel. The vampire's tribe left before Eido was born, leaving the poor mother to fend for herself, and her unborn baby. She found shelter in a male librarian's house, and the baby was born six months later. The angel mother died in child birth, but before dying, told the librarian to name the boy 'Eido Lonseraph'. Confused, the librarian agreed, and raised Eido till he was old enough to look after himself. During this period, the librarian noticed the wierd changes in the boy. He used his position to research these abnormalities, and discovered that the boy was a half vampire, half angel hybrid. He revealed this to Eido, who took it very well. Now, Eido has been searching for his true father, who he now knows is one of the vampire Coven, a society of roaming vampire tribes who help one another in times of great need. Eido has also been searching for his very purpose in life, which he finds rather annoying to discover...

Jon Callard was born in Syndey but was raised in Melbourne farther down south. His parents disliked all the traffic around Sydney and wanted something less 'technologically occupied'. Melbourne was a good place for Jon to grow up. With his high test scores, he aspired to join the United Nations Fronteir Corps, but a run-in with the law on a DUI charge ruined that prospect. Jon joined the Marines as a result.
Looking for spice, he decided to become a Helljumper and faced eight weeks of living hell. When Callard emerged, he was the epitomie of badass. He has fought on 21 worlds, earned a total of 20 medals, is qualified with both long and mid-ranged arms, and has shifted between five divisions between his twenty-year service.
ONI often sends Callard on low-profile missions. Sometimes even the Mobians call on him to undertake 'special' assignments such as espionage and even one count of assassination. Callard likes working with anthros and aliens, stating that the UNSC "needs diversity to survive".
Have a couple of OC's being 'developed' the first, is a bit odd to say the least. I was reading a Terry Pratchett book and thought 'hey everything else seems to have an opposite on the Disc. It's got whitemail for God's sake! Why when there is a personification of Death is there not one for Life...?' cue OC. Female, pretty good looking brunette with pupil-less emerald eyes but a physical requirement to live around mortals. Still developing her weaknesses.
2nd OC very early in the fic so not very deep. A female theif in Victorian London who impresses Sherlock Holmes with her skill and morals (sounds unbelievable but she only steals from rich criminals and only when she's desperate) she is headstrong and independent and has good general knowledge but couldn't keep a conversation going on any specific subject for very long. She's tall - about 5ft 8 with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes.
Hrm - given that Death on the Discworld is a pretty nice guy, wouldn't it make sense that Life... isn't, so much? Would at least provide a nice subversion of the usual happy-clappy nature goddess.
Random question: why does everyone always put blood type on their OC character profiles? I don't see how it's necessary...
Good question. Actually, for the most part, blood types are pretty much useless. However, if your characters are employed in a field where it is important to know a blood type, such as a military field like mine, blood type is important so the characters can recieve new blood.
also, it looks more professional in some cases. Unless in vampire stories where it may just be a character's favorite 'flavour' if you will.
I think the main reason in most of these cases is that it is traditional in manga, as blood types are traditionally seen as being related to personality in Japan. Western writers try and mimic the custom.
Not me. I mean, it's just useful to know if you need a transfusion or replacement blood. Helps if you know as much as you can about the character.
Eh, it was on this major large character list I did. That's why all that jacked up information is there. In reality, I use maybe a third of that each time I sign-up, and that's always the same stuff.

Personality: Ever watchful of the area around him, James prefers to play the role of the shadow. Although he has inherited a massive some of money recently, James does not flaunt it refusing to draw attention to himself. A dark past shared by his traveling companions has led him down a darker road in life and while he may seek to work for a better world, he has little use for laws. Kind, closed, but still open in public, James feels a bit out of place. He knows how to behave and work in society, but he just doesn’t feel right surrounded by people at every turn. Still, he takes his time, helps out if he sees someone in real need, and even tries to have some fun. Once the sun sets however or he is alone with friends, he opens up. With a massive set of suppressed memories, James appears to be doing the best out of the group he use to travel with. While all of them quickly go quiet and sad when the topic of what lead them to become what they are, James does his best to down right ignore it, hiding it for the most part dealing with his issues concerning those times in secret and by himself. There are subtle changes in his mood though that do take place when mentions of these times are brought him, namely his zoning out, quiet manor, and selective speech. Overall though, James is always looking to push himself further and while he may not be stronger then the average person of his age, his flexibility and general intelligence with his knack of improvising allows him to act quickly and effectively. A thief by nature, he is always looking for the next big challenge. Should he find others in real need however, he will forfeit his stash to assist them. In the end, his odd set of morals of ignoring the laws, yet helping the needy has dealt him a slightly harder then usual life style. None can argue however that James choose this hard style himself and he would see it through.
Areas of expertise: James relies heavily on stealth, deception, and mind games. In combination with the group he works, they can make a single person appear as twenty, make it look as though the one person is far from human, and even make it appear as though they were ghosts. James alone however is still a great thief, but he lacks the high tech aspects of the job knowing little about the newer security systems in place.
Clothing Preferences: loose fitting, darker colors. Shorts and a T-Shirt most of the time, but also knows how to dress up in proper attire for select gatherings, namely those involving the company.

The rape affected her for many years but concentrating on being a young mother allowed her to get past it, though she still has nightmares about the rape, increasingly so since her husband started beating her.
Craig is abusive, drinks constantly, and is extremely powerful in the drugs industry, shipping millions of pounds worth of cocaine a week, and supplying dealers up and down the country. She married him when Michael was 2, but fell out of love with him long before the birth of their son.

One day an Orange and brown cat called Hermione adopted her when she was 5, after 4 years of living together her Dad touched their home and murdered Scarlet's step mum, she was then put back in care till she was 13 when she decided to run away. After a week of living on the streets, she found her self in Frog forest and if she thought it couldn't get any worst! A Robot came out of no where and took her to Eggman she was there for 2 months getting injected with drugs, that made her weaker and weaker till she began to pasted out a lot, until Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Silver and Amy came to save her. when she was being taken back to station square she passed out again. Allow me to explain: in my series, Earth and Mobius encounter each other due to a jump accident involving a Chaos Emerald in close proximity of a supercarrier. The two universes managed to secure transit and because of a massive military mobilization on the part of Kintobor, the two factions signed a Unified Defense Contract, stating that military forces from both sides have the opportunity to allow soldiers from from the Royal Armed Forces (RAF), to join the UNSC since the UNSC has ships and MAC cannons to protect from external threats.
Thousands of Mobian soldiers jumped at the opportunity, but others are xenophobic towards the Humans. Lucas was one of the minority. He joined the ODSTs out of accident (because of unfamiliarity with Human military branches). He's a techie. He's not even the main focus of the spinoff. Callard is. Lucas just serves as a tool to show that the squad is diverse (Consists of Australian, British, Mexican, Mobian, Canadian, and Draconian (another planet)), and reinforces the value of acceptance in Human/Mobian relations. I point this out in the Mobian article of the Codex.

Well, it does to the British in real life. I do my homework, don't worry! The Air Force is the Royal Air Command Corps (RACC) in my books, but the Marines are broadened to a planet-wide force, The Mobian Marine Corps (MNMC)
The Royal Armed Forces do not exist in canon, they are completely fanon. The world is very realistic, no cartoon physics or...odd hair colors like in the comics.
I had a feeling people would have trouble with this, same thing for their being a real UNSC, The United Nations Security Council, which also is mentioned very briefly at the end of one of my works.

@Chris- This whole thread is rather redundant, tbh; people are writing out lists that nobody else cares about, and then wandering off on their merry way. Yours was just the worst for too much detail in that respect. It may be 'professional' to know these things about your character, but who here honestly wants or needs to know that the guy weighs exactly 157lbs? As a sci-fi fan, unnecessary stats are the bane of my reading life.
Then, as a fantasy fan, it's Sues.

Backstory: 'Laura' lived in our timeline, and was proficient in Taekwando until one day Zuo Ci - an elderly oracle - transported her back in time to Ancient China in 208 AD, where she became Su Zhi. After an... eventful first battle with her new friend, Gan Ning against Wu, she is captured and joins them. From then on, it's a constant struggle to protect her friends and values, and to try and end the decades long war over who the next ruler of China will be, which isn't resolved yet in the story.
Perhaps, once all this is over, she might get the chance to return home again...
Weapons: Dual gauntlet-blades and Clackers - 2 metal balls connected by a thin piece of chain. Bloody lethal in the wrong hands, or Su's.
Other schtick: She has a tendency to go overboard with retribution, and a huge spontaneous streak in her. Too determined and stubborn for her own good. Tried to throw herself off the roof after she was nearly raped by a stable boy, and walked into a lake (accidentally) when Ling Tong was suddenly called away. Will go bat-shit psycho on whoever, say, cripples her husband. But that's for another chapter... >:D
