Has anyone drawn any fan-art for Hetalia: Axis Powers?
I have never drawn any cuz I can't really draw so I just creep on other peoples art. I have to admit I'm guilty of mostly looking at slash or cutesy pictures, I mainly love seeing all the different styles of how people draw all my fave characters.
People keep on faving all of my Hetalia chibis on my DeviantArt gallery. (Just click on my name to see.)
OMIGOSH I LOVE DRAWING HETALIA FANART!! I did a whole poster of chibitalia in different poses for my German homework. SOO fun. And then of course, I drew all my friends chibi-style!
Kehehe... My distraction during class laughs I've only got one thing scanned and uploaded, but I've got a sketchbook full of random doodles to be finished. Hetalia's my current obsession; I can't seem to draw anything else at the moment ^^"
mostly doodles of literally any character that comes mind, but the full drawings are of russia and spamano.
(AKA RaphaelsLittleSister on Fanfiction.net)Zenna, Regas, I don't know if I can, but I will try to do a PRussia picture. (I'm ill and useless at the moment) And just to clarify, that's Prussia and Russia, right? Oh, and because Prussia hates the later, what do you call fluff?
Da, Prussia and Russia~ Hm... Is fluff possible with those two? xD They make a pretty picture together, but I can't see any situation where Prussia would willingly be with Russia... so fluff is probably nonexistent xD

Erk... sorry for the double (now triple) post...
Yah, I can see what I can do. But of course, Russia can be fluffy, and Prussia can just be p***ed.
Does anyone else enjoy drawing fanart for video games?
haven't played much video games, but i really liked twilight princess, so i'm trying fanart on that.
I do
i enjoy drawing fanart for kingdom hearts, twewy, mario [but the pairings are sometimes kinda kanon], sonic...
I have some fanart of Link from Legend of Zelda ^-^

^One of them.
Digital has become more rampant recently and I have to admit, I'm guilty of being 80% Digital. I just can't live without my ctrl-z and flip-canvas options. Drawing on paper always seem to handicap me but maybe that's because on the computer there are a lot of 'cheating' shortcuts to things? That and being able to find lots of references when you need it.
What's your thought on this?
Unfortunately, I do not have a tablet. Most of my work is traditional, but sometimes on rare occasion, I scan and color in a picture on GIMP, the poor man's Photoshop, heheh.
I've only done 2 GIMP photos because the process is so damned long. Maybe I'll do it again when I hit 20K pageviews on dA!
Hard question! I like digital art because of the undo button (a life saver!), but I usually have to draw using my laptop's touch pad. ^^' Which can be painstaking, so I don't do digital art much, though I love how easy it is for me. But with traditional, it's way easier to draw and my lines are actually how I want them to turn out!
lol, yeah, digital is kinda taking over the art world. Though I'm guilty of it too. Seriously, ctrl+z is like my bestest friend ever. Whenever I'm drawing tradtionallly, i find myself making mistakes and reaching fot the buttons. XD
But i've gotta say, its somehow easier for me because I like the ability to move stuff around and pass it through filters and change colors if they don't work.
I've got a few of them on my deviantart with my sis, though not much of it is that. Devart is: Somatra101.
Im not realy digital I do all my work by hand
I just started with digital, so I'm a bit biased laughs I prefer my pencils, especially after trying to color something digitally shudders But pixelwork is fun.
never tried drawing digital but I'm more of hands on kind of person so drawing on paper works better for me. If that makes sense.
I prefer digital because it is personally easier for me, and because I don't have easy access to a scanner. But there are some times when I just really want to pick up a pencil and paper and start drawing. There are also actually some things that are easier for me to draw traditionally. You can also get some amazing effects in traditional art!
I don't think that drawing digital is a handicap, but I find it more difficult to do than traditional. I prefer traditional to save my time plus the gratification I get from drawing something with my own hands. There are also so many different types of ways to do it [goauche, watercolour, coloured pencil, acrylic... yada yada jazz.]
You might be able to say I am just a huge art nerd. c":
Most of my art that I post is digital, because I don't have a camera or a scanner to post my traditional drawings, but I mostly do traditional. And I don't have any special things. I used MS paint up until recently, when I wanted to have a transparent background, so I got paint.net- which works beautifully. But I have to use bases when I do digital art, because I don't have a tablet, or anything like that.
I have often mixed the two in the past, say by drawing on thin paper and then "tracing" the lineart onto a tablet. It's nice that the stylus works through paper. Lately, I'll sometimes just use a throwaway "sketch" layer on an image editor instead, and that works alright for noncomplicated stuff, but the feedback that paper gives you just can't be achieved with a stylus and tablet.
I'm also getting more into drawing... well. As in, with actual shading techniques, and things like charcoal and pastels. So who knows where I'll go with that in the future.
I'm so doing this!
Oh, so like create your own OC? Sounds cool! I already have an idea for one fleshed out in my head... I'll post it when I'm done!
I think I may do this :) My drawing isn't very good though :P
okk so where does all the fanart go after being drawn? like do we give the details on this page the link or is there an actual page to post the art work? (im obviously new so help would be nice)
@Unknownred: Unless BBCodes work here, I think we'd have to post a link.
testing, testing...
testing 1, 2, 3~
Sounds challenging and fun at the same time. Totallly doing this one.
Is there a due date for this challenge?
...or really any other kind of Nintendo fanart?
I love Legend of Zelda, and I'm a bit obsessed with Link~ He's just so awesome |D

^My more popular (but not actually popular) drawing.
http://paxipeanut.deviantart.com/gallery/25938912#/d3ehois
^My less popular one. I'm also proud of this one, but significantly less proud of this one than my other one.
Anyone else have LoZ fanart they'd like to share? c: (Or other Nintendo fanart)
So...we all seem to be on the hunt for fan arts...why don't we draw some? So...here's what we can do...
If you have an idea for a fanart but don't want to draw it yourself, post it here. All you people out there with art skills, and myself, draw and post any ideas we find inspiration from.
So...here's a couple of ideas I had recently:
There are a LOT of Dark!Harry fanfics out there, but most of them end up with him as the submissive partner in a relationship or as an over-powered sadist. And the fanarts for this genre are fairly rare. IDEA: A fanart of a "realistic" Dark!Harry doing something nefarious.
Kuroshitsuji fanart idea: Grell at the laundromat. Hijinks ensue.
MY IDEAS ARE NIGHTS FANART. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE DRAW MY KNIGHTMARENS OF THE ROUNDTABLE? I'D LIKE ALL OF THEM SEPARATE IN YOUR IMAGE AND ONE OF ALL OF THEM TOGETHER.
THANK YOU.
CHECK WWW.SMACKJEEVES.COM FOR MY GIGA-XISBASS ACCOUNT AND LOOK AT MY GIGA-XISBASS ART COMIC. THAT'S WHERE THE PICTURES ARE FOR MY OCS.
shudders at the caps lock
MaeWestKozi, that Grelle idea sounds hilarious xD I'll do my best~
Would someone mind drawing me some pRussia Hetalia art? Nothing X/R/M-rated, just Preussen and Russi being adorable together.
Can I second Zenna's request? Ha. They are so cute together!
I adore drawing PRussia... I definitely have a lot of adorable ideas with them together. c; [Although I'm not sure if my art is awesome enough.] I don't have a scanner 'though. [No telling when I will be able to post it. :/]
So, let us introduce ourselves!
What is your take on fanart? What is the most favorite piece of fanart that you have drawn so far? What tools do you prefer to use?
Hey, I am TurnerChild. I am more of writer than an artist. I am not very good at drawing, but I enjoy doing it. Any way, my favorite fanart would have to be Disney, Harry Potter, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and Lord of the Rings. My pen name on fanfiction is the same. So if you want to read my stories check them out. I recommend reading my Phantom of the Opera and Smallville stories though. The other ones that wrote was when I was fourteen, and I knew nothing of writing then.
Sup, my name is Ayne. Lil'ayn on fanfiction.net and same on deviantART i think (just restarted on both, so there's not alot on either).
I love writing and drawing, on fan-based and original and a combination of the two(I'll do fan-based on my originals when i feel like it cause i love my characters <3).
anyway, i come up with fanfictions on anything i'm currently thinking about so i don't have alot of favorites, but i'm more prone to anything fantasy based or dark and creepy.
i won't use anything but pencil (includes color), because i suck at everything else and i don't have a tablet or a computer with the capacity for storing all my art and animations and stories. (DX poor me.)
anyway, nice to meet everyone! i'm looking forward to seeing all the fanfictions and fanart! good luck! :D
Well Yoshino contacted me on FanFiction and referred me here so I guess I'll start by saying I'm more of a writer than a drawer mostly because I suck at drawing =C, but I think Fan Art is a wonderful way to compliment an author(especially if you don't know the person)and though I haven't really drawn to much Fan Art I've learned that i prefer pencils to pen or my computer. From the very few pieces of Fan Art I have done, I think my favorite piece would be for the pairing BB/L from Death Note for my friend and because it was my first Fan Art ever it wasn't extravagant but its still my favorite.
Hi I'm CupCakeObsessedFairyLover on fanfiction.net. Yoshino contacted me and asked me about fanart and writing. I personally love both. I decided to check this out and i like this site.
Anyway i'm looking forward to seeing fanfics and fanart
Oh i forgot i have a devintArt account it's Meta-Knight-lover101
Hello; I'm Jewel Magix from Fanfiction.net, also known as Jellybeebee on Deviantart.com. I have multiple tastes in Fanfiction and fanart so I wouldn't criticise any Art of any kind unless it's to help you. So this was my self-intro, it was nice!

Hi! I'm Gir Crazy on FF.net, and Beane-Cat on deviantArt. I absolutely LOVE both fanfiction and fanart, though I tend to draw more than write. I really only use MS Paint to draw (and other programs to color), but I like to doodle things in pencil. I think my favorite piece of fanart that I've drawn so far is a picture I drew of Jack from Homestuck.
Hello, I am Juby. I also go by Spazzy, Nathan, KJ, Katie, or any other name as long as you mean it in a friendly way. I like fanart as much as regular art, and I especially enjoy well-written fanfiction. [If thew writing is good enough I might even start reading a chapter fic by that author.]
As for my drawn fanart, I don't have a favourite but I working on a comic that might be pretty damn good... [If my style doesn't take a switch by the time I finish it.] My favourite fanfiction [in my personal opinion of course] that I have written eithre has to be "Cope" or "Balloons." I am even fond of "Just Stan," since that was the first fanfiction I wrote at a really long length.
When drawing, I usually use a regular pencil. I like pencil shading with grey graphite rather than with coloured pencils. If something must be coloured I usually use a variety of painting techniques. c:
